**Update** Two things i forgot to mention is 1.) that a select few deviants change depending on your server type as well. there's maybe 3-4 different deviants that are only available on PvP servers and vice versa, and 2.) PvP servers get extra starchrom from echo stones, but i can confirm that the PvE Manibus and prime war world bosses all give starchrom rewards as well which pvp servers don't get so it balances out. Thank you for sharing this info. What I heard there wasn't much difference between PvP and PvE servers besides some of the world events. Now I see that the seasonal events are very much different. That makes a BIG difference. Thank you for sharing this!
Honestly, I think starting on a PVE server is a smart move. I fear that a PVP server for once human will likely be a breeding ground for cheaters. It makes me upset to have to point out the obvious but, Once Human is a F2P game developed by a Chinese company. I have nothing wrong with F2P models, in-fact I encourage them, but it is impossible to punish a cheater when they can make a new account in minutes after being banned. I also have nothing against games developed in China, but in my experience with other games (Rust, ARK, PUBG, etc.), I've had countless encounters with Chinese players playing on North American servers who were blatantly cheating. I am excited to play Once human, but boy am I weary to try a PVP server.
Love their differentiation in modes. My primary opposition to PVP these days, especially in F2P games, is cheating is far too rampant. Opt-in or non-incentivized PVP helps keep the benefits to a minimum.
One other thing.... in Beta 2 Echo stones were popular to do because they didn't count towards your 40 cortex purification limit for the week. People abused this a bit too much though and farmed insane amounts of Starcrom. In Beta 3 no one bothered with Echo Stones because it counted towards your 40 purifications for the week, and it just wasn't worth the risk of having your base destroyed by someone with a few moltovs while you're trying to purify. Hopefully they did something to better incentivize doing Echos because it was a fairly dead mechanic amongst most players.
PVP servers as a whole was just trash as fuck lol, the only thing that was worth joining them for was the echo stones and then they scuffed that, so now there is just literally no point to them.
Down the line, I'm sure with enough petition or loud noise they'll add a Duel system or something mini-PVPish for the PVE servers. With that alone I'd ride PVE all day long great video!

In the PvP server, do you have to activate Chaos mode like in PvE in order to engage in pvp fights with other players? Also In regards to your base, Can players in the PvP server just raid and destroy it at any time or again will Chaos mode come into play?
@@syztms u get flagged for pvp only in the designated pvp zones it’s not always on but u can manually turn it on just like on the demo I showed. As for base raiding no people can’t randomly raid your base for no reason. The only time ur base is at danger is when ur trying to purify and echo stone
I played all betas and hit max level multiple times. I think separating the world bosses from pvp servers and not having the warband pvp in the pve is stupid. There is a lot of pvp that want to enjoy the full game and don’t want to level on both servers just to experience the full game. No other game does this where the content is literally different depending on pvp or pve server. Honestly from such an amazing game This is disheartening

We have a guild of over 100 going in to Once Human and we will be playing on a PvP server. The biggest problems we have regarding pvp was the imbalance of certain weapons, time to kill was way too fast, and structures were way to weak to things like moltovs making defense very difficult. We are hoping that some of these concerns were addressed. We would also like to know if blueprint fragments are still locked to the wish machine and mystery chests or will there be some way to farm blueprint fragments from bosses. The endgame loop in the betas eventually became very stagnant just waiting for your weekly Starcrom to come back in for more pulls on the wish machine.
@@NIHKEY1 in regards to blueprints I don’t know for sure however in the shop there was a blue prints tab so maybe u can trade or buy them in some way now. Also I believe all weapons have been seperstly balanced now differently on pvp server to counter that exact problem. The dmg values are adjusted for pvp
@@Glitchiz What shop are you referring to with the "blueprints" tab? There are a lot of different shops in the game for all the different currencies. If you are referring to the cash shop (Crystgin Shop) that would be a bit concerning.... although I dont think they would sell blueprints for weapons and armor in the cash shop as that would cause a lot of people to boycott the game.
I found it, it's in the cash shop around ~16:20 in your previous video. It is a bit concerning that the "tab" is there in the cash shop for blueprints... hopefully they don't use it.
Have fun with a group of 100 people. Either you have no experience of the administration and disadvantages that come with a large group or you are just a follower, then the whole thing doesn't affect you. Too large groups are often unable to act and smaller groups will form within the group and the problems will increase. Have fun with the drama^^
@@NoCTRL_ u honestly won’t get far. To my understanding all the end of season big activities are all large scale warband style battles. If ur solo you’ll almost never have a group to participate in the events with unfortunately
Yeah! That's the thing you should be worry about. I will stick to PVE for the best classic enjoyment! I'm not a big fan of joining a clan or group and then had to be force to do some task for them daily or weekly. I rather play solo and with my friends in PVE since the game itself have too much content that are focusing on your own playstyle. I will be overwhelm if i had to do my things and at the same time people come to disturb my peace Extra bonus: Gamer chicks mainly pick PVE. Won't be boring when the server is balancing with man and women

Hmm...tough decision. I had a lot of fun in PvP, fighting over echo stones and trying to get back to base without being able to teleport. Also loved stealing resources from other warbands. So no Skywhale in PvE? No warbands in PvE?
I noticed that there are seasons and server "wipes" were you have to transfer certain things to the eterniserver. Will you then be able to change to a different server in the next season? (ie season 1 you play pvp server, end of season xfer to eterniland, season 2 you play pve server)?
yes. if u move to a different server u start a new character from scratch. that being said each server has multiple worlds and u can switch ur character around to a different world within the same server. although the base on the new world would have to be rebuilt

If you're a loner, don't even bother thinking of going to a PvP server. If you do, better progress as fast as you can and find a large and competitive warband and hive. Every base is easily felled than you'd think, especially of hive-less players'.
i wish in pve theres some spot that were we can pvp like high grade loots that can fight eachother for the loot in specific area but theres like evacuation time so that we cant abuse the in and out of pvp
Could you please clarify why this game needs to be a live service? I have been playing since its release and have never teamed up with anyone other than real-life friends. There seems to be no requirement for this game to adopt this model. Furthermore, I do not envision myself playing this game frequently due to server resets. Grinding and obtaining items feels like a waste of time, as I prefer progression rather than constantly starting over.

Whole video and you dont explain how pvp actually works. Is your whole base destroyable 24/7, is it full loot or no ? What are safe zones if there are any ? Etc...
I myself don't care what I loss and they could be giving out money to No pvp for me. Question do you have to log in daily for rewards and stuff like that?
so for pve severs, there is 0 pvp unless there is a requirement for it, like no zones or anything? and the pvp server is only big group pvp. what about the solo pvper? or small group.
pve servers have 1 pvp based public event as well as the ability to manually flag for pvp at anytime but u can only attack other players that are flagged for pvp as well which will most likely be pretty rare. as for pvp server the endgame will most likely big large scale pvp battles yes, but in between things like echo stone stealing and stuff like that can all be done solo or in small groups and that can lead to fun little battle while ur playing as well. also any time ur even remotly close to one of the frontier warband battle zones youll be instantly flagged for pvp as well. so there will big areas that are quite large where any player inside whether solo or in a group will be free to attack eachother.
I don't like how they split this at all. It's a terrible design. They should have given boss fights to pvp as well and given season progression to pve. I hate pvp in these types of games but seems like I'm missing on a lot playing pve
I feel so conflicted on this change of pve & pvp servers mainly because I wanted to go in heavy on this game as a collector, I'm someone who loves grind but not to the point where I would need two characters just because there will be things on pve and/or pvp servers that I would be missing out on, owch
For everyone looking for pvp , dont be deceived PVP servers have almost no pvp content , is fucking sad , i have seen pve games with more pvp then once human
not passively u have to be in a contested territory of be flagged for PvP manually. hold down the"p" key to flag yourself if u do that then any other player who is flagged can shoot eachother at any time.
was a part of this fight we were the first server to beat both nightmare prime wars, and the ones who hosted the fight did A LOT to farm premium to make it happen, cant wait to do it again
Because PvP is optional, the PvP servers are pretty much PvE. The cargo event is sort of PvP but if you die, nothing happens. You just get back up, and no one can shoot you unless you have the jelly fish, and the person with the jelly fish can't shoot you unless you shoot them first. It's really lame and is essentially not PvP. They really need to make PvP not optional on PvP servers.
The original idea was to be auto flagged for pvp after lvl 10, but the game is made in China and china has a law that states that u cannot force pvp in a game that's not 100% pvp based... Meaning, they cannot change it no matter what they do. Its a real law look it up ^^;
@@legendgg5922 they will be capped but I think it’s slightly higher than the weekly cap so you can potentially get more. They just had to cap it because people exploited the mechanics and got thousands and thousands of starchrom during testing lol
Going PvE with a few friends. I am more curious why the various videos about the Battle Pass preview seem to have all been pulled from a few creators... bit concerning.
As far as I'm concerned this game shouldn't be taken seriously until the developers change from a pay to win model and they should only be trusted after a good amount of running time before people really put a bunch of money into the game. For those that don't know the developers said their shop and battle pass will be completely cosmetic but they have made it so that you can buy things that give you significant pvp advantages. Eternaland can be used a lot more often which means every season you're going to get squashed by people that can bring in a lot more gear from day 1. Camp upgrades are also instant which add fuel to the fire of being able to bring in high level gear each season and also loot crates which are opened with keys are on the shop. While it seems like the free battle pass gives access to these keys it's also clear that the keys can be bought so people can buy their way into the late game every season or of they are pissed that you best them they can just buy their loot back and they're ready to go. They are also partnering with content creators before launch and I've already seen one of their partners take down a video because they got unfavorable push back from the battle pass and p2w shop. But instead of a re-released video of the devs saying they'll fix it they have instead silenced any mention of the shop until after launch. So yes this game would be absolutely great if it was cosmetic in the shop entirely but it isn't and they have done a good job in hiding it. It's a real shame because this game looks great and well thought out but I'm going to point this out on every video I find about this game.

The video was taken down because there was an error on the test server that did in fact show things other than cosmetic items being available for purchase for testing reasons. This is not reflective of how it will be in the real game and so we were asked to take them down. As for non battle pass p2w the campsite is not a pay to win mechanic for pvp any large scale frontier battle ls instance and respawns are fixed u don’t even use your campsite during those scenarios it’s almost always used strictly for pve only which doesn’t now effect anything. Lastly this whole complaining about eternaland yes u can transfer items to and from there in between seasons even for pvp servers but that’s how it should be. Even if you couldn’t transfer actual weapons u had crafted u still keep all blueprint progress you’ve made I don’t see any advantage in being able to transfer things you have already crafted if your allowed to just craft them again regardless. That’s not any sort of advantage at all.

really sucks PvP players miss out on PvE content that was actually well designed, Manibus looked fun but so did the World and Frontier PvP..... bad decision by the devs imo and i hope in the future they add PvE content that PvE gets to the PvP servers OR they add PvEvP servers....cause man i hate missing out on PvE content just cause i would like to ALSO PvP sometimes... Also 10:00 Brother something like this, basically 3v3 or 4v4 arenas NEED TO BE ADDED FOR BOTH PVE AND PVP SERVERS. nope. new server means brand new character unfortunately.

If you're a loner, don't even bother thinking of going to a PvP server. If you do, better progress as fast as you can and find a large and competitive warband and hive. Every base is easily felled than you'd think, especially of hive-less players'.
i wish in pve theres some spot that were we can pvp like high grade loots that can fight eachother for the loot in specific area but theres like evacuation time so that we cant abuse the in and out of pvp

Could you please clarify why this game needs to be a live service? I have been playing since its release and have never teamed up with anyone other than real-life friends. There seems to be no requirement for this game to adopt this model. Furthermore, I do not envision myself playing this game frequently due to server resets. Grinding and obtaining items feels like a waste of time, as I prefer progression rather than constantly starting over.

@@mahmoudragab9058 no we all had to take them down because it became part of there upcoming marketing campaign and it may not have included 100% of things that r gunna be available at launch so nothing bad at all all good stuff lol it will be unhidden on launch day lol

As someone who has 3k hours in Rust, I'm 100% playing PvE, hell I'd play offline if it was an option.

@@DodgyDamRogue u have to flag up in general areas yes, but there are allot of large scale areas that just by walking or driving into them will automatically flag you. Which is t on pve servers

I'm leaning towards pve 99%
so for pve severs, there is 0 pvp unless there is a requirement for it, like no zones or anything? and the pvp server is only big group pvp. what about the solo pvper? or small group.
pve servers have 1 pvp based public event as well as the ability to manually flag for pvp at anytime but u can only attack other players that are flagged for pvp as well which will most likely be pretty rare. as for pvp server the endgame will most likely big large scale pvp battles yes, but in between things like echo stone stealing and stuff like that can all be done solo or in small groups and that can lead to fun little battle while ur playing as well. also any time ur even remotly close to one of the frontier warband battle zones youll be instantly flagged for pvp as well. so there will big areas that are quite large where any player inside whether solo or in a group will be free to attack eachother.
PvP servers have almost no PvP anyway
Warbands are broken down into groups so just play with your hive of friends toward warband goals & events
If you pick PVP, you better be okay with being killed by better geared people in an unfair way.
you just gotta remember, you could do that to other people with lesser gear as well.
I don't like how they split this at all. It's a terrible design. They should have given boss fights to pvp as well and given season progression to pve. I hate pvp in these types of games but seems like I'm missing on a lot playing pve
I feel so conflicted on this change of pve & pvp servers mainly because I wanted to go in heavy on this game as a collector, I'm someone who loves grind but not to the point where I would need two characters just because there will be things on pve and/or pvp servers that I would be missing out on, owch

not passively u have to be in a contested territory of be flagged for PvP manually. hold down the"p" key to flag yourself if u do that then any other player who is flagged can shoot eachother at any time.

Because PvP is optional, the PvP servers are pretty much PvE. The cargo event is sort of PvP but if you die, nothing happens. You just get back up, and no one can shoot you unless you have the jelly fish, and the person with the jelly fish can't shoot you unless you shoot them first. It's really lame and is essentially not PvP. They really need to make PvP not optional on PvP servers.

The original idea was to be auto flagged for pvp after lvl 10, but the game is made in China and china has a law that states that u cannot force pvp in a game that's not 100% pvp based...
Meaning, they cannot change it no matter what they do.

@@legendgg5922 they will be capped but I think it’s slightly higher than the weekly cap so you can potentially get more. They just had to cap it because people exploited the mechanics and got thousands and thousands of starchrom during testing lol

As far as I'm concerned this game shouldn't be taken seriously until the developers change from a pay to win model and they should only be trusted after a good amount of running time before people really put a bunch of money into the game. For those that don't know the developers said their shop and battle pass will be completely cosmetic but they have made it so that you can buy things that give you significant pvp advantages. Eternaland can be used a lot more often which means every season you're going to get squashed by people that can bring in a lot more gear from day 1. Camp upgrades are also instant which add fuel to the fire of being able to bring in high level gear each season and also loot crates which are opened with keys are on the shop. While it seems like the free battle pass gives access to these keys it's also clear that the keys can be bought so people can buy their way into the late game every season or of they are pissed that you best them they can just buy their loot back and they're ready to go. They are also partnering with content creators before launch and I've already seen one of their partners take down a video because they got unfavorable push back from the battle pass and p2w shop. But instead of a re-released video of the devs saying they'll fix it they have instead silenced any mention of the shop until after launch. So yes this game would be absolutely great if it was cosmetic in the shop entirely but it isn't and they have done a good job in hiding it. It's a real shame because this game looks great and well thought out but I'm going to point this out on every video I find about this game.
@@clarkmeyer7211 aight man relax I’m the creator who took down the battle pass video for starters and I wasn’t silenced because of any of the reasons u r trying to pitch. The video was taken down because there was an error on the test server that did in fact show things other than cosmetic items being available for purchase for testing reasons. This is not reflective of how it will be in the real game and so we were asked to take them down. As for non battle pass p2w the campsite is not a pay to win mechanic for pvp any large scale frontier battle ls instance and respawns are fixed u don’t even use your campsite during those scenarios it’s almost always used strictly for pve only which doesn’t now effect anything. Lastly this whole complaining about eternaland yes u can transfer items to and from there in between seasons even for pvp servers but that’s how it should be. Even if you couldn’t transfer actual weapons u had crafted u still keep all blueprint progress you’ve made I don’t see any advantage in being able to transfer things you have already crafted if your allowed to just craft them again regardless. That’s not any sort of advantage at all.

really sucks PvP players miss out on PvE content that was actually well designed, Manibus looked fun but so did the World and Frontier PvP..... bad decision by the devs imo and i hope in the future they add PvE content that PvE gets to the PvP servers OR they add PvEvP servers....cause man i hate missing out on PvE content just cause i would like to ALSO PvP sometimes...
Also 10:00 Brother something like this, basically 3v3 or 4v4 arenas NEED TO BE ADDED FOR BOTH PVE AND PVP SERVERS. Too bad there is next to NO difference on playing on a PvP server or PvE server! Why are the PvP servers not just the PvE servers and then give us real or just more PvP on the PvP servers? Dose not have to be RUST like PvP rules but as it is now there is no PvP on the PvP servers!
The devs need to split the player base somehow… create a skill issue server for the pve only people.
