The staggered server starts are for people who were late to the party to still get the phase one experience, it was also to help counter the full servers with peoples wanting to play with friends but not able to join the server due to a lot of spaces being taken up by abandoned characters (cant wait for the char delete option to be added), its worth keeping this in to allow people who are not able to get on launch day to still be able to join and play the full season Nice informative vid though good job :)

You can actually build a base in eternal land and have corn grow in your base, make ale and sell it in eternal land. Right now I have 1.3 million astral sand in just 3 days.
They really need to improve the UI for all the various currencies.. some of this is completely hidden unless you go looking for it which undoubtably many players are just skipping over.. it's also very confusing how to get what, how to spend certain currencies and all these transfer details.. it needs to be optimized
Basically standard faire for asian-made MMO style games. lol I know it's an old stereotype by now but it still rings true - asian devs always make stuff needlessly complicated, typically due to horrendous UI / UX design.
Matt, I can definitely confirm the interactive map is accurate in regards to accessories and weapon attachments, as I finished them yesterday using the resource.
I’ve never really got into online games before but I’m completely obsessed with Once Human. The wipe doesn’t bother me in the slightest, in fact, I’d enjoy rebuilding and relevelling because once everything has been finished I’d get bored real fast
If you do end up making a house you really like you can just save it as a blueprint and when the new season drops you can just use that house blueprint and boom you have your great house again 😊
They need to make sure more people understand these wipes. People's idea of what the wipe is, is usually wrong. We aren't talking about a tarkov wipe here. It's like a whole new game basically. New scenario new area etc. The initial "once human wipes every 6 weeks" turned a lot of people away for no reason. It's a great game and I haven't been excited about a game in a long time. Great video man.
Bruh, they have put out literal dev posts and in game menus, and people still refuse to understand the concept. At a certain point it's just pitiful that players are so dense.

I don't know who programmed these menus, maybe they had a stroke or there were too many people tinkering. The fact is, I'd rather get information from the streamers than from the developer, sounds strange, but it's true.

Hi Matt, good video, some notes/questions that may be relevant: You mention that Stardust is part of season inheritance, however that is not mentioned on the in-game Inheritance page. It used to be the case, some time ago, that Stardust was specifically listed under Inheritance, but it's no longer there, suggesting that it may not carry over. It's possible of course that it will send to Eternaland, but that's not direct Inheritance from season to season, it would mean you would have to spend material points to bring it over. Don't remember where I saw this, but pretty sure that Energy Links get converted into Eternaland Sand, so for anyone into building your Eternaland it can be a decent boost. Speaking of Eternaland, for players that do not want to immediately jump into a new season, it could make sense to stock on Sand by selling stuff from current server, since once it closes, it will be hard to get Sand. Also, a suggestion of a item to craft and sell for Sand is Ice Tea. Very easy to make, worth 1k and you don't have to wait nearly as long as you do for fermented products. ( I've sold over 3m worth of Sand in Ice Tea just stocking up for my future building projects in Eternaland ;-) ) Question: You seem convinced that we will be able to carry over Deviations. Why do you think we cannot build Deviation container facilities in our Eternaland? About the servers running in their own time: Looks to me that they are just going to be rotating servers. Once a server finishes a scenario in its own time, it will be wiped clean and will start with a new scenario ( which could be the same one or a different one ). It would make no sense to wipe servers that have not finished the scenario, they are simply going to be rotating in and out as they finish their season. The positive aspect of this is that any player can start any scenario at whatever time they chose. It's never a issue that you want to play but the season is already on going and it's too late.
Thank you! Stardust Source isn't specifically mentioned but "materials" are, and Stardust Source is a material. Also in the beta, Stardust Source could be transferred to Eternaland. But as I mentioned in the video, we don't know for certain yet about what materials can be transferred. Also, I wouldn't say I'm "convinced" that Deviations can be transferred. I mentioned that the game is hinting that they could but we aren't certain yet. If you place a base blueprint in Eternaland, your securement units come with it, but again we aren't sure on the details yet. And regarding server rotation, that may be how they end up doing it, but I don't think they should do it that way lol I'd like to experience a new season with the entire community, rather that certain servers getting that content first. Great tip about the Iced Tea, I'll have to try that! I really hope that they provide more transparency on all these things before the reset though.
@@MattyGorm About the Stardust, they may very well be part of the "materials", but what I mean is that they are not part of the Inheritance section, which means they will not carry over automatically with you to the next season scenario. Instead, they will go to your Eternaland. I think there is a important distinction between what goes to Eternaland, which is subject to a system of points and rules to export, and what always carries over ( Inheritance ) regardless of rules/points.
If anyone is wondering about the stellar planula store... I bought all of them and still have 136 stellar planula... And i havent even taken all the available planula in the map/quest yet. So dont worry about it, buy all of them but also do explore the map.
a good way in eternalland to make links is to grow onions with the mutaion fertaliser and sell the mutated onions you get a lot for them, im currently at 4 million just from them.
This is fantastic information! Thank you for putting this together. I have shared this with my hive so we can all be prepared! I'm anxious to see EXACTLY how this whole season thing is going to work when this first one finally comes to an end. I know we have a lot of info, but until we see it actually in practice it's hard to say how I feel about it. Keep up the great content!
Another thing I found out yesterday while perusing the menus is that you can save your gear load outs! You go into inventory, gear tab, press H. This is the place where you can save and swap builds. You just need the gear you want to swap to in your inventory. I tried putting it in my weapon and gear crate and it didn’t swap over everything, said I was missing the gear I had in the crate. Super helpful though if you want to experiment with different mods/builds. I went through and made a burn,shrapnel, and frost vortex build.
I can only assume servers will be on their own schedule. Newer servers will get their 6 weeks, they just won't line up with other servers. It's not really that big of a deal in my opinion. Everyone should get to experience the full length of each scenario on their own time. Great video all around btw. Glad someone broke down all the different areas of info we've been gathering since CBT1.
That's likely how it would work, but would love official confirmation on that. In my mind, it would be better if all servers were synced up instead of having some servers in different phases than others. It causes a lot of confusion in the community when server timelines are different (I've received a ton of questions about it lol)
i saw what happens to characters when they messed up the first patch. your characters are put into a limbo state where all you can do is enter eternal land until you sign up for a new scenario. it specifically said your character is not signed up for a scenario click here to sign up. you will not be waiting for servers to catch up
Each season should be according to what you acomplish. Rebirth should be the finish and refresh not 6 weeks. I am having an issue with those sight creatures. My hand eye coordination and stutter even occurs. I have avoided it after the second number of attempts, first time I could not run due to wieght.
Energy Links is gravy if we level up cooking, get a small farm into operation and sell stuff we dont use to vendors. I even have that meme trick where when I cook canned goods, I gain double return. Sell to vendors in the bases and never worry about Energy Links.
Definitely the best explaination I've seen thus far on season reset. But makes me wonder what the issue is if you can take all of that with you to next season, seem like only things you can't take are ammo, tools, deviants, seeds and stuff like that. All the real important items you can take with you, so I no longer understand why anyone would be upset /shrug
good video. one tip: i would NOT buy the attachments in the stellar planula shop, because all of them can be found easily in the world using the interactive map over at Map Genie! instead, use the stellar planula to buy starchrom
I wouldn't just randomly put the furniture up if I didn't like it, just to keep it. With the Designer Table, you can break down the one-time furniture into furniture tokens and then exchange them for furniture from the random rotation in the Designer Table. I am pretty sure that the Tokens will be taken over.
You can break down furniture formulas with the Designer's Workstation but you can't break down single-use furniture items (the ones I recommended placing in Eternaland)
It is quite confusing at the moment. This is what I feel how it would go and work. Each server is seperate and will continue until it finishes it's own phases. (For now I don't think any are permanent, so you would be forced to goto a new server or only use Eternaland.) Then, basically all the items you have collected, such as resources, food, etc transfers to Eternaland automatically or you will have the ability to send stuff to there. I believe it would be automatic. When you select a new server, you can then goto Eternaland at any time while playing on the new server and transfer items using the tokens you talk about at 9:33. This would include things like resources, food, ammo you had made, weapons and armor you have made or collected, etc. So only the account based stuff would be always automatic to your new server, and you can technically cheat a bit if you have played before by sending some items over to get ahead. On a side note: Since I only on Phase 2, could you make a video with before and after. I think many would love that. Before showing all the things you have such as resources in boxes and bag and then the same on new server and Eternaland once it reset for you. Explaining it how it all works then too for new players mostly. Just a bit of a video idea.
Without the Tier 5 materials weapons can't be repaired, so spent points to migrate tier 5 weapons for next season has non sense for me. Taking some electric rock drill and chainsaw has really more sense...
This will depend what we can take and how much we can take. Regardless if you have a high calibration bp you might wanna take that weapon since calibrations are RNG and you could possibly never get one higher.
Just noticed I’m in the same server as your PVP character. I’m a big part of the #1 warband in PVP 020 and would be happy to help out with materials/PVP techs if you plan on spending some time there. Great video❤
Each steel ingot sells for 50 and steel doesn't require acid so just make a bunch of ingots if you need sand. I only use two furnaces and can make 400 ingots in a couple minutes and instantly sell for 20k sand.
Another thing of note, is looking at your ORDER page for eternaland during the season and doing that weekly to buy teleport towers and landscape items if you want.
its pretty easy. i dont know why people can't understand seasons. early servers will get season earlier. later servers will continue to play the current season until 6 weeks have passed abd then theyll get the new season....
Source? Everbody is pulling information out their a**. This approach splits the community in splits of like 25 Servers which would suck and make server transfers way harder. Also the battle pass timing wouldn’t make sense this way. It wouldn’t be that hard to implement a battle pass that is separate for every server that would actually show how long the season is for that specific server but we have a global battle pass for all servers which still runs for 30 days.
@@bennobear1 if youre in earlier server you want to join your friend in latter server you just jail yourself in eternal land until their season finish and pick a new server together, voila.
@@ringo3650 source? We can’t even delete characters as of now. They haven’t implemented a Account wide system for unlocked shop purchases. How can you think they have implemented a system to change servers. I don’t really care if i‘m able to change servers and if i get the invite code they teased for the august patch i‘ll be more then happy, because that shit has a source! I don’t mind having split servers in different phases or seasons - i just think it’s a bad system which shrinks the whole community in clusters with f2p retention and no system to free up those slots we will have low populated servers forever. I just hate that everyone and their mothers think they know it all without a single sign of proof.
@@ringo3650you can’t because the genius behind this game made it so that once the character limit on a server is full no one else can join, like my server which is pvp01 the first pvp server made which is completely dead and empty and no one can join our server at all or make new characters because everyone stopped playing making the end game garbage and boring. Been playing this for a couple of days and really enjoying it so far but all this server wipe and different currencies are really blowing my tiny little mind.
The catch will be the whole detailed process, step by step. Like...which currency will be used to transfer items, how much for each item, how to get more of this given currency, is there a cap for items to be transferred (by type and by quantity)...also, and most important, I remember reading somewhere that "Items can be transferred from Eternaland to a new season ONCE"...if so, every item transferred from Eternaland to a new season would disappear at the end of the new season?!? Anyways, I really hope for the best, but I'm mentally ready for the worst!
There won't be a currency to transfer items to Eternaland (items will get transferred automatically). There is a currency to transfer items from Eternaland to the main server though (Material Points).
@@MattyGorm MB...then everything I was questioning still apply, just switch to "From Eternaland to me season" instead. Have you ever heard anything about that stuff can only be transferred once? If so, we are kinda screwed!
To be honest i would be perfectly fine if the only things that carried over were unlocked blueprints and fragments, and season specific deviants. It is not really that much of a grind to get resources. Unless they plan on having the difficulty ramped up to account for the extra gear you have.
I'm sure you'll have a different opinion when you're further into the game. My base consists of over 690 structures and many facilities. Takes a couple days to get it all back.

Why assume that all servers have to switch over at the same time? Older servers that have completed their 6 week run can move on to the new season, and servers that just started can move over after they finish. This also lets anyone new to joining the game at any given time to be able to enjoy the game without feeling they need to wait weeks or months for the next season to start before joining.

I'm in a PvE server and when I logged on today, the "sign up for new(next?) season" button scared me. I have no idea what'll happen if I do or don't hit that button.
I had a problem with the house blueprints. I have a a blueprint of something a little to close to the edge of my base and cant completely build it. But because i can't finish building it, it's just sits there in the corner and i cant delete it.
They need to cut these servers in bloody half and invest into something that doesn't lag out of it's mind above 5+ players and assets around, as well as fix their stupid register lockin limit so servers aren't DEAD in a week.
I bet the newer servers will just finish out their full season time, at the moment it switches to phase 6, those people will be enabled to tranfer into Eternaland at which point they can disconnect their character and move to either a season 2 server already open, or a wait a bit for some of the otehr servers to release, which they will do the same thing as season 1 and just release new s2 servers that are behind s2 launch servers. Wish machine is 100% going to change. They changed between betas. It's meant to be like gacha games like Genshin Impact or Tower of Fantasy where they cycle through ways to more easily get sets or weapons. Not to mention PvE and PvP were already different from each other from season 1, so allowing banner for people to more easily get like a status based weapon will be something that shifts. Also I'm better that s2 will bring back the legendary blueprints for melee weapons, and possibly even a gear set that allows for you to build around it. So if something is in a banner you like now, slurp it up.

I am curious about the house blueprints for my territory. I saved mine on one server and was expecting to be able to recreate it on a different server that I made a character on. That is not the case, my new character on a different server does not have access to the house blueprint I saved on another server, so house blueprints are apparently locked to a server? What else is locked to the server and not accessable on another server? Or maybe it becomes accessible when my first character's season ends? A lot needs to be clarified.
Yeah I’m in the same boat. Also paid for some furniture with starcrom on one server and want to know if it’ll carry to my new character on a different server when they mesh the store bought items and battle pass stuff
Metas, dont get tricked by that Phase 6 does go like a Week as the other Phases before. The Season will end once the Battlepass expires, from now easy chillin 37 Days of Easymode ;-) enjoy.
So many calibration blueprints I've collected and they don't come easy. I can't use em all and for breakin em down, the stardust really doesn't return for the grind. So if they don't transfer, I'll be pretty disappointed. I'd rather break em down after I see how the next season looks and I expect that I'll need blue and lower lvl calibration blueprints at least for testing and learning stats.
Why would you use anything but gold calibrations tbh? They only come if you attached it to a gun and take that specific gun w you. They want you to farm calibrations its the only content end game 😂😂
You went through the screen that says "players can strategically select some of the resources to bring with them on the new journey!" The smart thing would be to bring a small amount of resource with us that is the rarest or hardest to farm.. Why are we still questioning what we can bring with to the new season? The important question that I wish everybody would start prying the devs on is where do our characters go after the Eternaland? Char 1, on 001, can only go to the new wiped iteration of 001? Do we get to choose? They keep promising that we get to "play with our friends next season" but can't lay it out for us what exactly they are trying to make happen.
We know that we can withdraw items from Eternaland for the next season using Material Points but we don't know exactly what materials can be brought to Eternaland in the first place.
The point of Eternaland is that you can store things to bring with you into the next season. I'm not sure about how server selection works for the next season but it would seem pretty counter-intuitive if what you store in Eternaland can't be brought with you if you decide to change servers. We still don't have all the information on that though.
You talked about placing the house items in eternaland, but you didnt mention that those are actually formulas. If you place the item down in your house and then demolish it, you will learn the formula.
You don't learn the formula when you demolish those items, they just get added back to your inventory to place them again. Those items aren't formulas as you only have a limited amount of them you can place.
Been enjoying the game a lot for the past week or so, but it's hard not to look at all of this and feel like a lot of it is just unnecessarily complicated. Nothing worse than games with insane amounts of loot plus a cumbersome inventory management system where you literally have to click every single item separately in order to store them. Add to that this whole reset and transfer system that may or may not change significantly in the long run and it's just such a chore to keep track of... But the devs do really seem to care a lot and are even asking players for detailed feedback, so I'm just gonna play the game and enjoy it for now. No point worrying so much in these early days. I do not see in the current comments where this is stated, so I will. This is a NetEase Game. It is not the first that I have played from them that had this 'season' concept. Infinite Lagrange on Android had it as well, though I last played that game in 2021. The premise was to race to explore a new solar system where your goal was to control as many planets as possible which translated into end of 'season' rankings. Then you would go back to Earth before getting contracted to explore a new solar system. Re: How long will the wait be in Eternaland? Just like new servers were put out every so often, so will the second season servers. A few first season servers will merge to one second season server, with the lower numbered first season servers having to wait a bit longer than any higher numbered ones that are advancing to the same second season server. When I was part of IL, as I recall, it was just a week before the next 'season' was up at the most.
about the single use furniture, I'm not certain, but I think if you place and then delete 2 or 3 of them, you get the blue print/formula to craft them yourself.
for the mitsuko marks the big question for me is can i get the manibus figurine without having to buy the subscription wich gives u extra marks daily ? cause im not a big fan of subscriptions id rather buy mitsuko marks in the normal shop or be able to buy the figuring ith just the seasonal quests reward ones if that gets to 5k at all im worried it might not since only one phase reards for them left they have to give a LOT of them if it will get us to 5k without the supscription

These devs just cut their cake in HALF , just introducing the wipe concept in a game that has nothing to do with a wipe!, wipe concept was introduced initially for PVP purposes mostly, but a rouge mmo ?? Good luck to whoever is left to play next season but i have the feeling their wipe idea is gonna blow up in their face.. i guess we'll wait and see. Me personally dipped out of the game me and full clan knowing about all the days and hours i spent grinding for deviants and all materials , towers teleports , map progression will be tossed in the bin. You just started your game and already commuting suicide by splitting your gamers in half ? oh man, talk about self destruct .
I like it. We still carry over everything about our character progression, it's just world progression. Starting fresh by leveling up every 6 weeks is nice for becoming more fluent in the game's interface and providing more to do. This game is heavy on tasks and chores if you couldn't tell already, so it should have been a red flag since the beginning if that's the case. A world progression reset is great for replayability in my opinion.
So just to clarify. All your weapons and armor currently equipped will automatically be transferred over or will I have to do the whole eternaland thing?
I think how its going to work is each server have the own season later we could be in season 3 but you can still make a new character on a server with season one or season two whatever content you wish to play
My take is that Manibus server stays normal, popping up first season for new players, they just add a new server that is "intermediate" (Manibus is novice) for the second season that you can join any time after you have done the first season. Hopefully we can jump between the first season, Eternaland and the new intermediate server
Great video! I would, however, not recommend buying all of the attachment from Severin, as almost all of them can be obtained for free in the game. There are maps online that show where/how to get them. I would, instead, buy up all of the starcrom crates and controllers and save the rest of the currency for the next season to do the same.
@brianl248 There are more than that. If you hover over the attachment it will tell you where you can get it and I think 5-10 of them need to be purchased at the Morphic shop (Severin).
Does anyone know if we'll still keep our stuff as mentioned in video in new season if we were to change to different server? Example: I joined the game late, did not get in to the same server as my mates, so we're hoping to get into same server in new season, but main concern is whether my materials, weapons and armor will carry over to different servcer in new season.

Indeed. It costs 1000 starchrom from season shop and it's the only non-blueprint related starchrom purchase i've spent. just couldn't stand that sad sorry default bed anymore🤣 EDIT: also worth mentioning, it's not just a cosmetic. the bed also heals and cures sanity at a much faster rate.
So I haven't played Once Human yet, but a friend recommended it to me. I tried to join his server, but it said it was full. He said unless the servers become open you aren't going to be able to join. Is there a known time when that might happen? Because I'm getting bored of gaming overall and want something new to grind. Thanks

From what i know you play until the end of your server season and then register for next season. You wont be transfered to a new server without registering
I would like that devs talk about deviants.... will we be able to keep some of them or not... nothing is written about them at all. There s big problem with servers when like us you have some friends on newer servers... it s just a pain in the ass. For sure we ll have to wait at least 2 weeks to play our mains again if we want to be able to finally play all together. For sure we ll have to wait that the season ends for them which means at least reach Phase 6. I just hope that they ll make Phase 4 and 5 shorter on those new servers so instead of 1.5 week they last only 1 week so it would be fine for september new season.
Items will automatically be sent. If you want items in the next season, you need to use material points to transfer them from Eternaland to the main server.
16:15 Stardust Source will carried over to the next season? Where does it say that? I didn't see it on the list of things that will be carried over or am I mistaken?
It was able to be carried over in the beta to Eternaland, so basing it off of that. It's also a "Material" and materials will transfer, but again we aren't 100% sure on all the details yet as I mentioned.

I’ve never really got into online games before but I’m completely obsessed with Once Human. The wipe doesn’t bother me in the slightest, in fact, I’d enjoy rebuilding and relevelling because once everything has been finished I’d get bored real fast
If you do end up making a house you really like you can just save it as a blueprint and when the new season drops you can just use that house blueprint and boom you have your great house again 😊
They need to make sure more people understand these wipes. People's idea of what the wipe is, is usually wrong. We aren't talking about a tarkov wipe here. It's like a whole new game basically. New scenario new area etc. The initial "once human wipes every 6 weeks" turned a lot of people away for no reason. It's a great game and I haven't been excited about a game in a long time. Great video man.

Hi Matt, good video, some notes/questions that may be relevant:
You mention that Stardust is part of season inheritance, however that is not mentioned on the in-game Inheritance page.
It used to be the case, some time ago, that Stardust was specifically listed under Inheritance, but it's no longer there, suggesting that it may not carry over.
It's possible of course that it will send to Eternaland, but that's not direct Inheritance from season to season, it would mean you would have to spend material points to bring it over.
Don't remember where I saw this, but pretty sure that Energy Links get converted into Eternaland Sand, so for anyone into building your Eternaland it can be a decent boost.
Speaking of Eternaland, for players that do not want to immediately jump into a new season, it could make sense to stock on Sand by selling stuff from current server, since once it closes, it will be hard to get Sand.
Also, a suggestion of a item to craft and sell for Sand is Ice Tea. Very easy to make, worth 1k and you don't have to wait nearly as long as you do for fermented products.
( I've sold over 3m worth of Sand in Ice Tea just stocking up for my future building projects in Eternaland ;-) )
Question: You seem convinced that we will be able to carry over Deviations. Why do you think we cannot build Deviation container facilities in our Eternaland?
About the servers running in their own time:
Looks to me that they are just going to be rotating servers. Once a server finishes a scenario in its own time, it will be wiped clean and will start with a new scenario ( which could be the same one or a different one ).
It would make no sense to wipe servers that have not finished the scenario, they are simply going to be rotating in and out as they finish their season.
The positive aspect of this is that any player can start any scenario at whatever time they chose. It's never a issue that you want to play but the season is already on going and it's too late.
Thank you! Stardust Source isn't specifically mentioned but "materials" are, and Stardust Source is a material. Also in the beta, Stardust Source could be transferred to Eternaland. But as I mentioned in the video, we don't know for certain yet about what materials can be transferred.
Also, I wouldn't say I'm "convinced" that Deviations can be transferred. I mentioned that the game is hinting that they could but we aren't certain yet. If you place a base blueprint in Eternaland, your securement units come with it, but again we aren't sure on the details yet.
And regarding server rotation, that may be how they end up doing it, but I don't think they should do it that way lol I'd like to experience a new season with the entire community, rather that certain servers getting that content first.
Great tip about the Iced Tea, I'll have to try that! I really hope that they provide more transparency on all these things before the reset though.
@@MattyGorm About the Stardust, they may very well be part of the "materials", but what I mean is that they are not part of the Inheritance section, which means they will not carry over automatically with you to the next season scenario. Instead, they will go to your Eternaland. I think there is a important distinction between what goes to Eternaland, which is subject to a system of points and rules to export, and what always carries over ( Inheritance ) regardless of rules/points.

If anyone is wondering about the stellar planula store... I bought all of them and still have 136 stellar planula... And i havent even taken all the available planula in the map/quest yet. So dont worry about it, buy all of them but also do explore the map.
Is it better to do all the side quest or explore to get the stellar planula
also if we carry all mods to next season we could probably level up some trash mods so that we can disassemble them later for mod parts
a good way in eternalland to make links is to grow onions with the mutaion fertaliser and sell the mutated onions you get a lot for them, im currently at 4 million just from them.

Another thing I found out yesterday while perusing the menus is that you can save your gear load outs! You go into inventory, gear tab, press H. This is the place where you can save and swap builds. You just need the gear you want to swap to in your inventory. I tried putting it in my weapon and gear crate and it didn’t swap over everything, said I was missing the gear I had in the crate. Super helpful though if you want to experiment with different mods/builds. I went through and made a burn,shrapnel, and frost vortex build.
I can only assume servers will be on their own schedule. Newer servers will get their 6 weeks, they just won't line up with other servers. It's not really that big of a deal in my opinion. Everyone should get to experience the full length of each scenario on their own time.

That's likely how it would work, but would love official confirmation on that. In my mind, it would be better if all servers were synced up instead of having some servers in different phases than others. It causes a lot of confusion in the community when server timelines are different (I've received a ton of questions about it lol)
i saw what happens to characters when they messed up the first patch. your characters are put into a limbo state where all you can do is enter eternal land until you sign up for a new scenario. it specifically said your character is not signed up for a scenario click here to sign up. you will not be waiting for servers to catch up
At that point, it's better to just start a new character on a new server.
Each season should be according to what you acomplish. Rebirth should be the finish and refresh not 6 weeks. I am having an issue with those sight creatures. My hand eye coordination and stutter even occurs. I have avoided it after the second number of attempts, first time I could not run due to wieght.
Energy Links is gravy if we level up cooking, get a small farm into operation and sell stuff we dont use to vendors.
I even have that meme trick where when I cook canned goods, I gain double return. Sell to vendors in the bases and never worry about Energy Links.
Or you can just sell silver/gold bars/ crystals or the food item that sells for alot of EL specifically.
Definitely the best explaination I've seen thus far on season reset. But makes me wonder what the issue is if you can take all of that with you to next season, seem like only things you can't take are ammo, tools, deviants, seeds and stuff like that. All the real important items you can take with you, so I no longer understand why anyone would be upset /shrug
good video. one tip: i would NOT buy the attachments in the stellar planula shop, because all of them can be found easily in the world using the interactive map over at Map Genie! instead, use the stellar planula to buy starchrom
I wouldn't just randomly put the furniture up if I didn't like it, just to keep it. With the Designer Table, you can break down the one-time furniture into furniture tokens and then exchange them for furniture from the random rotation in the Designer Table. I am pretty sure that the Tokens will be taken over.
You can break down furniture formulas with the Designer's Workstation but you can't break down single-use furniture items (the ones I recommended placing in Eternaland)
It is quite confusing at the moment. This is what I feel how it would go and work. Each server is seperate and will continue until it finishes it's own phases. (For now I don't think any are permanent, so you would be forced to goto a new server or only use Eternaland.) Then, basically all the items you have collected, such as resources, food, etc transfers to Eternaland automatically or you will have the ability to send stuff to there. I believe it would be automatic.
When you select a new server, you can then goto Eternaland at any time while playing on the new server and transfer items using the tokens you talk about at 9:33. This would include things like resources, food, ammo you had made, weapons and armor you have made or collected, etc.
So only the account based stuff would be always automatic to your new server, and you can technically cheat a bit if you have played before by sending some items over to get ahead.
On a side note: Since I only on Phase 2, could you make a video with before and after. I think many would love that. Before showing all the things you have such as resources in boxes and bag and then the same on new server and Eternaland once it reset for you. Explaining it how it all works then too for new players mostly. Just a bit of a video idea.
Without the Tier 5 materials weapons can't be repaired, so spent points to migrate tier 5 weapons for next season has non sense for me. Taking some electric rock drill and chainsaw has really more sense...
This will depend what we can take and how much we can take. Regardless if you have a high calibration bp you might wanna take that weapon since calibrations are RNG and you could possibly never get one higher.

Just noticed I’m in the same server as your PVP character. I’m a big part of the #1 warband in PVP 020 and would be happy to help out with materials/PVP techs if you plan on spending some time there. Great video❤
Each steel ingot sells for 50 and steel doesn't require acid so just make a bunch of ingots if you need sand. I only use two furnaces and can make 400 ingots in a couple minutes and instantly sell for 20k sand.
Another thing of note, is looking at your ORDER page for eternaland during the season and doing that weekly to buy teleport towers and landscape items if you want.
its pretty easy. i dont know why people can't understand seasons. early servers will get season earlier. later servers will continue to play the current season until 6 weeks have passed abd then theyll get the new season....

This approach splits the community in splits of like 25 Servers which would suck and make server transfers way harder.
Also the battle pass timing wouldn’t make sense this way.
It wouldn’t be that hard to implement a battle pass that is separate for every server that would actually show how long the season is for that specific server but we have a global battle pass for all servers which still runs for 30 days.

We can’t even delete characters as of now. They haven’t implemented a Account wide system for unlocked shop purchases. How can you think they have implemented a system to change servers.
I don’t really care if i‘m able to change servers and if i get the invite code they teased for the august patch i‘ll be more then happy, because that shit has a source!
I don’t mind having split servers in different phases or seasons - i just think it’s a bad system which shrinks the whole community in clusters with f2p retention and no system to free up those slots we will have low populated servers forever.
I just hate that everyone and their mothers think they know it all without a single sign of proof.

Been playing this for a couple of days and really enjoying it so far but all this server wipe and different currencies are really blowing my tiny little mind.
The catch will be the whole detailed process, step by step. Like...which currency will be used to transfer items, how much for each item, how to get more of this given currency, is there a cap for items to be transferred (by type and by quantity)...also, and most important, I remember reading somewhere that "Items can be transferred from Eternaland to a new season ONCE"...if so, every item transferred from Eternaland to a new season would disappear at the end of the new season?!? Anyways, I really hope for the best, but I'm mentally ready for the worst!
There won't be a currency to transfer items to Eternaland (items will get transferred automatically). There is a currency to transfer items from Eternaland to the main server though (Material Points).

To be honest i would be perfectly fine if the only things that carried over were unlocked blueprints and fragments, and season specific deviants. It is not really that much of a grind to get resources. Unless they plan on having the difficulty ramped up to account for the extra gear you have.
I'm sure you'll have a different opinion when you're further into the game. My base consists of over 690 structures and many facilities. Takes a couple days to get it all back.
I just hope the materials actually get sent to the Eternaland Depot

No they are separate. Gear blueprints are listed separately in the inheritance section. Weapons and armor are sent to Eternaland.

Why assume that all servers have to switch over at the same time? Older servers that have completed their 6 week run can move on to the new season, and servers that just started can move over after they finish.
This also lets anyone new to joining the game at any given time to be able to enjoy the game without feeling they need to wait weeks or months for the next season to start before joining.

I had a problem with the house blueprints. I have a a blueprint of something a little to close to the edge of my base and cant completely build it. But because i can't finish building it, it's just sits there in the corner and i cant delete it.
They need to cut these servers in bloody half and invest into something that doesn't lag out of it's mind above 5+ players and assets around, as well as fix their stupid register lockin limit so servers aren't DEAD in a week.
I badly need mushroom devation in my eternaland... i started a huge farm there and i dont wanna manually replant everything over an over again xd
I bet the newer servers will just finish out their full season time, at the moment it switches to phase 6, those people will be enabled to tranfer into Eternaland at which point they can disconnect their character and move to either a season 2 server already open, or a wait a bit for some of the otehr servers to release, which they will do the same thing as season 1 and just release new s2 servers that are behind s2 launch servers.
Wish machine is 100% going to change. They changed between betas. It's meant to be like gacha games like Genshin Impact or Tower of Fantasy where they cycle through ways to more easily get sets or weapons. Not to mention PvE and PvP were already different from each other from season 1, so allowing banner for people to more easily get like a status based weapon will be something that shifts. Also I'm better that s2 will bring back the legendary blueprints for melee weapons, and possibly even a gear set that allows for you to build around it. So if something is in a banner you like now, slurp it up.

I am curious about the house blueprints for my territory. I saved mine on one server and was expecting to be able to recreate it on a different server that I made a character on. That is not the case, my new character on a different server does not have access to the house blueprint I saved on another server, so house blueprints are apparently locked to a server? What else is locked to the server and not accessable on another server? Or maybe it becomes accessible when my first character's season ends? A lot needs to be clarified.

Everything is locked to the character. Not the server. Each character is like starting the game all over.

So many calibration blueprints I've collected and they don't come easy. I can't use em all and for breakin em down, the stardust really doesn't return for the grind.
So if they don't transfer, I'll be pretty disappointed. I'd rather break em down after I see how the next season looks and I expect that I'll need blue and lower lvl calibration blueprints at least for testing and learning stats.
Why would you use anything but gold calibrations tbh? They only come if you attached it to a gun and take that specific gun w you. They want you to farm calibrations its the only content end game 😂😂

You went through the screen that says "players can strategically select some of the resources to bring with them on the new journey!" The smart thing would be to bring a small amount of resource with us that is the rarest or hardest to farm.. Why are we still questioning what we can bring with to the new season?
The important question that I wish everybody would start prying the devs on is where do our characters go after the Eternaland?
Char 1, on 001, can only go to the new wiped iteration of 001? Do we get to choose?
They keep promising that we get to "play with our friends next season" but can't lay it out for us what exactly they are trying to make happen.
We know that we can withdraw items from Eternaland for the next season using Material Points but we don't know exactly what materials can be brought to Eternaland in the first place.

The point of Eternaland is that you can store things to bring with you into the next season. I'm not sure about how server selection works for the next season but it would seem pretty counter-intuitive if what you store in Eternaland can't be brought with you if you decide to change servers. We still don't have all the information on that though.
You talked about placing the house items in eternaland, but you didnt mention that those are actually formulas. If you place the item down in your house and then demolish it, you will learn the formula.
You don't learn the formula when you demolish those items, they just get added back to your inventory to place them again. Those items aren't formulas as you only have a limited amount of them you can place.
This isn't true. You don't learn the formulas if they are items. Otherwise it would be so easy to get the formulas.

Been enjoying the game a lot for the past week or so, but it's hard not to look at all of this and feel like a lot of it is just unnecessarily complicated. Nothing worse than games with insane amounts of loot plus a cumbersome inventory management system where you literally have to click every single item separately in order to store them. Add to that this whole reset and transfer system that may or may not change significantly in the long run and it's just such a chore to keep track of... But the devs do really seem to care a lot and are even asking players for detailed feedback, so I'm just gonna play the game and enjoy it for now. No point worrying so much in these early days.

Just as an FYI, you can press H while in a chest to automatically merge all relevant items into that chest, so you don't need to move them 1 by 1!

This is a NetEase Game. It is not the first that I have played from them that had this 'season' concept. Infinite Lagrange on Android had it as well, though I last played that game in 2021. The premise was to race to explore a new solar system where your goal was to control as many planets as possible which translated into end of 'season' rankings. Then you would go back to Earth before getting contracted to explore a new solar system.
Re: How long will the wait be in Eternaland?
Just like new servers were put out every so often, so will the second season servers. A few first season servers will merge to one second season server, with the lower numbered first season servers having to wait a bit longer than any higher numbered ones that are advancing to the same second season server. When I was part of IL, as I recall, it was just a week before the next 'season' was up at the most.
about the single use furniture, I'm not certain, but I think if you place and then delete 2 or 3 of them, you get the blue print/formula to craft them yourself.
for the mitsuko marks the big question for me is can i get the manibus figurine without having to buy the subscription wich gives u extra marks daily ? cause im not a big fan of subscriptions id rather buy mitsuko marks in the normal shop or be able to buy the figuring ith just the seasonal quests reward ones if that gets to 5k at all im worried it might not since only one phase reards for them left they have to give a LOT of them if it will get us to 5k without the supscription

These devs just cut their cake in HALF , just introducing the wipe concept in a game that has nothing to do with a wipe!, wipe concept was introduced initially for PVP purposes mostly, but a rouge mmo ?? Good luck to whoever is left to play next season but i have the feeling their wipe idea is gonna blow up in their face.. i guess we'll wait and see. Me personally dipped out of the game me and full clan knowing about all the days and hours i spent grinding for deviants and all materials , towers teleports , map progression will be tossed in the bin. You just started your game and already commuting suicide by splitting your gamers in half ? oh man, talk about self destruct .
I like it. We still carry over everything about our character progression, it's just world progression. Starting fresh by leveling up every 6 weeks is nice for becoming more fluent in the game's interface and providing more to do. This game is heavy on tasks and chores if you couldn't tell already, so it should have been a red flag since the beginning if that's the case. A world progression reset is great for replayability in my opinion.

Made 800k sand selling the tined meat, very easy to make in bulk.
My take is that Manibus server stays normal, popping up first season for new players, they just add a new server that is "intermediate" (Manibus is novice) for the second season that you can join any time after you have done the first season. Hopefully we can jump between the first season, Eternaland and the new intermediate server

Great video! I would, however, not recommend buying all of the attachment from Severin, as almost all of them can be obtained for free in the game. There are maps online that show where/how to get them. I would, instead, buy up all of the starcrom crates and controllers and save the rest of the currency for the next season to do the same.

I am wondering if you can link discord. I only get a blank embedded web browser display nothing.
So I haven't played Once Human yet, but a friend recommended it to me. I tried to join his server, but it said it was full. He said unless the servers become open you aren't going to be able to join. Is there a known time when that might happen? Because I'm getting bored of gaming overall and want something new to grind. Thanks
Hear me out here or they do the right thing and just reset the old servers and let the new servers run their course to 6 weeks and not make this more complicated then it needs to be
I was under the impression that's what they're doing. I started playing last Monday on a new server and it just hit phase 2 😂
From what i know you play until the end of your server season and then register for next season. You wont be transfered to a new server without registering

agreed 100% with the server sync. jumped around from server to server, kinda dumb to make us wait around and just twiddle our thumbs.
I would like that devs talk about deviants.... will we be able to keep some of them or not... nothing is written about them at all.
There s big problem with servers when like us you have some friends on newer servers... it s just a pain in the ass.
For sure we ll have to wait at least 2 weeks to play our mains again if we want to be able to finally play all together.
For sure we ll have to wait that the season ends for them which means at least reach Phase 6. I just hope that they ll make Phase 4 and 5 shorter on those new servers so instead of 1.5 week they last only 1 week so it would be fine for september new season.

Items will automatically be sent. If you want items in the next season, you need to use material points to transfer them from Eternaland to the main server.
What happens with the Deviants?
nah new server will go through 6 week while older will be open for new season right away
16:15 Stardust Source will carried over to the next season? Where does it say that? I didn't see it on the list of things that will be carried over or am I mistaken?
It was able to be carried over in the beta to Eternaland, so basing it off of that. It's also a "Material" and materials will transfer, but again we aren't 100% sure on all the details yet as I mentioned.
