For the arcade games like Star Wars with the Pitrex, you can plug a controller into port 2, and if you press button 2 on that controller you can adjust settings like making it display horizontal and then also adjusting the screen size so you can make it full screen! Also you gotta check out UV overlays if you haven't seen them already! Nice video! I love the Vectrex!!
Hi It’s a great machine I have had for many many years the Pitrex has given it a new lease of life and to try Star Wars on it for the first time was mega I will check out them setting’s cheers
Just got mine - thanks for showing us where to get the .stl files for the case! I've downloaded them and will be getting a local service to print them soon.
Great review. Collecting my Vectrex this weekend. Found out that the Vecfever is impossible to get hold of, so your review and set up of the Pitrex allays my fears. However, is it hard to obtain the correct ROMs?
I googled vectored Star Wars and an Atari age forum had a link which worked the other roms I just googled each name and downloaded it and it worked perfectly
Standard roms are just the normal ones floating around the web the Arcade and home brew roms are more specific and can be fussy and may take a couple of goes i found Star Wars was the biggest pain and your vectrex has to be in good condition to display the vectors well
@@TheVetUk Thanks. I've just picked up my Vetrex today and the previous owner showed me Star Wars via Pitrex and it looked great on the one I bought thankfully. I'll look into the ROMs too. Thanks for your help again.

@@TheVetUk Can I just use the actual ROMs ? I had heard that they had to be a specific size for them to work ?
