    Over the course of its life, adult storks have 9 or more chicks. But only 2 will make it to adult years. Otherwise, the world would have more storks today than it had. The other 7 will become lunch for other animals. Same with all animals that have multiple births. So out of a brood of 3, the weakest one is eliminated. Sad but true.

    Could someone please explain to me:
    It is a natural instinct not to eat your own offspring nor your own species, so why do storks do that? I fully understand natural selection, but why not simply throw it outside the nest and why putting so much time "torturing " it? I do not quite understand.

    • @francisgeorge7639
      @francisgeorge7639 9 месяцев назад +1

      It's not a human. Its natural instinct is to get rid of the weakling baby to favour the others. There's no point wasting such a large amount of fat and protein. Pigs do this also. a lot of animals do. Even herbivores eat meat quite often. One of many reaosns why veganism doesn't make sense.

      @@francisgeorge7639incorrect. The stork does not experience or recognize a ‘food shortage’ - there is essentially no such thing in the habitat this nest is located. The stork has imbalanced levels of hormones when a brood is born. At some points, the stork becomes complacent and will refuse to hunt. There are several videos on this channel showing this. The brood size is also irrelevant. Storks will happily kill their brood to feed themselves out of a lack of desire to hunt.

    • @francisgeorge7639
      @francisgeorge7639 4 месяца назад

      @@Le-Korl The stork as with many other birds, kills and eats the weaklings routinely. This is an obvious optimal survival tactic. It's always the weaklings. Your comment doesn't detract from that in any way. Raptor chicks will likewise eat (often alive) the weakling chicks.

      All that laughter in such a brutal & sad situation usually comes from someone who ends up skinning kid napped victims & wearing their skin while dressed up in their dead mothers clothes…😳… get some help man 😒

      jesus can't save anybody from their sins. he is only a human like us. only the allmighty god can. you will burn in hell forever for telling jesus is god. that's the biggest of the sins.
