I can't get enough of this video. I keep coming back to it. Why is it so difficult to buy the Buffalo Bills' recordings on the Internet? I can't find them anywhere.

NICE!!!!!! The Buffalo Bills represented the QUINTESCENCE of the classical Barbershop idiom: clean, ringing chords, tight harmonies, and so on. VERY easy on the ears!!!!

A world full of struggle and strife. That has been the history of man. To gain your ambitions of life. Here is the master plan. Climb every mountain, Search high and low,
Follow every highway, Every path you know. Climb every mountain, Ford every stream,
Follow every rainbow, 'Till you find your dream. A dream that will need All the love you can give, Every day of your life For as long as you live. Climb every mountain, Ford every stream, Follow every rainbow, Till you find your dream A dream

just listen at 2:38, Ive never heard such a high note in barbershop (its probably not even that high for a tenor, in fact later he goes higher) sung with that vibrato, its so consistent

Outstanding addition! Always liked them in The Music Man and since that ran yesterday on TMC, I thought to see what other songs of theirs may be on here. Thank you for the treat!

The Masterworks series is also on Spotify, where you can hear it for free (with ads). Search for Buffalo Bills - you'll find them, including this song.

My father... 78-y/o, he is... just got a copy of "Barbershop! Featuring: The Buffalo Bills with Banjo!", and has been asking me to do a digital transfer of it, to burn a CD he can listen to in his minivan & practice to for when he's with the group he sings with. I really wish I could do a DAT of it, just to maintain the integrity of the sound, as opposed to using a USB-turntable to make MP3's or MiniDisc with it's ATRAC method... since those two later methods tend to mask part of the sound.

Could find any either. And I don't like stealing...

A Cappella Trudbol if great art, literature, etc is removed from the market then this is the exact attitude that will make works like these be forgotten.

I know what you mean. I've been trying to get The Buffalo Bills recordings since The Music Man was first shown in The U.K. (1963)

I loved them in the Music Man. Too bad none of them had real handlebar moustaches. No barbershop quartet is complete without at least one or two.

In my opinion, they still set the bar height that everyone strives for due to the forwardness and the amount of reverberation in their voices. I don't think reverb can be learned. You either got it or you don't.

Thanks Michael, but I'm not a member of the BHS: I live in France. It makes everything more difficult, even just to buy sheet music.

ive listened to a lot of different quartets, but theres something different about buffalo bills... every single one of them has a... i dont know, "manly" voice. Even on the highest notes

@trudbol I'd certainly buy a transcription of this if you made one, or their version of Alexander's ragtime band for that matter, great vocal group.
