I actually played this like in 2019 with one of my friends 2 player split-screen we made 5 worlds all of them being 3 survival worlds and 2 fun creative worlds, they're really good worlds that we made which on one survival world we managed to beat the ender dragon in hard mode, without no cheats and built a lot of stuff like a nice house made good decorations, built a farm, and even made a mining area. it was a very good experience and brought back so much nostalgia.
That fact I first started playing on this version is Nostalgia But it also reminds of all the times I would go home and play with my freinds on splitscreen and my siblings and ending it on late summers evening in 2016

I remember when this first launched, my friends at the lunch table were talking about it, I went to gamestop that very day and bought the digital 360 version. We must have spent an easy 1000+ hours on it. I'm still amazed to this day it ran at 60FPS nearly the entire time. Unbelievable back then to me.
Very glad I found out about this game back in 2009. Got an Xbox360 for Christmas of 2012 I believe to finally get to play on console with my friends! I’ll never forget those great times. It also warms my heart that 4J Studios (The creators of Minecraft Legacy Console Edition) are still playing this version and teaching their kids about it.
I played it on my sister Xbox and all I did was creative or the split screen and I only did the split screen once and also tutorial world because I was 5 and didn’t know how to play only walk around and place and destroy blocks
Don’t be sad guys.. If you miss playing it then play it now and continue playing your old worlds well i know minecraft xbox 360 editon is discontinued but we will never forget it.. Continue playing while hearing sweden..Wet hands.. dry hands or even without music but i recomment to turn music on because you’ll feel the real nostalgia.. btw i’m still playing it now in 2021 and trying to defeat the dragon.. oh also if your xbox isnt with you anymore you can play it with xenia emulator in pc

Sure sometimes it was rough around the edges but with those Rough edges you carved your childhood. There's a reason they call it the legacy edition, Because it was a legend. Most games at time were focused on being competitive, While Minecraft was something unique. It was It was creative, And it encouraged people to work together. Nowadays Innovative game design is next to non existent. All the training games are mostly crappy And lazy. Minecraft took years to perfect. But there something special about the early versions especially. Maybe it's 720P resolution, Or the textures, Or the fact you can't get food from sheep. But whatever it is, It is forever cherished in our childhoods.
tbh I remember in early 2014 bugging my mom to get me the game from GameStop and booting up in the family Xbox 360 as soon as a got home I have the game disk but sadly not a Xbox, but I can get back my worlds cuz I can just log into my moms Microsoft account and connect to Minecraft using it, I had everything Minecraft from Minecraft merch to Minecraft toys and Minecraft story mode. I got java in early 2016.
I gave mine to my cousin on one Christmas. The idiot immer sold the console to a friend for 100€. So for me there might acaully be a chance that my console is somewhere out there and it might acually still have all the data.

If you guys ever want to play the first version of Xbox 360 minecraft, just load up java minecraft on pc and set it to version beta 1.6.6. Sure it's not the exact same, but it's still pretty nostalgic nevertheless. Alternatively, you can just delete all the update data for xbox 360 minecraft, but you'll have missing textures as they were removed from the game's files.
if you have the disc version of this game you can delete the updates and play the TU11 without any problems, I tried it and it works. If you got it digital then yes, everything will have corrupted textures
But Tu11 (11th update of mc Xbox 360) is Minecraft Java 1.1, then you also should get a mod to make the gamma the same look as mc x360, a mod for the UI and crafting, then a mod for the world size to be 864 by 864. Then you will get the ultimate Xbox 360 experience on Java
Me and my brother always played this version of Minecraft because we where to poor to get a Xbox one so every day we would hop on split screen and play till our hearts desired I even played when I broke my wrist because my dog needed me. It's 2022 now and I'm playing it on the newer version it really didn't change that much we just got fishese
bro i still remember doing the iron and diamond block glitch back then accidentaly found it, i was playin the tutorial world, and i broke the iron block, and then i switched to empty hand to sell it and get 9 iron i did it, but then i still saw the iron block there and i had iron in my inventory lol, my friends were always shocked seeing me with diamond armor that fast. good times.
