Plotting a great circle from Boston, Massachusetts (USA northeast coast, where I live), Perth is only 1,300 km removed from a point straight below my feet. In case you are wondering... the Atlantic Ocean island of Bermuda is almost exactly straight below Perth -- a British territory where cars also drive on the wrong side of the road. ;)
looks nice, really like your work, which I've already mentioned somewhere one of your posts. What specs has your MacBook ? and can you edit smoothly real time with braw and prores, without proxy's or optimised media.?
I haven't done a new studio update video but I took the plunge and went for the IMac Pro, the laptop was working perfectly but it was struggling with the large timelines I was working on. It was fine with 10 minute videos but when trying to cut the documentary I was working on it just couldn't handle the 90 minute timeline. I believe the laptop was from 2015, it was the top of the range Macbook Pro at the time.
Never saw anyone use an Ursa Mini Pro as a RUclips camera! That is awesome!I see you are using a Black Magic mini panel for editing perhaps you could do a review on it!
I just purchased the mini URSA Pro after shooting on the original URSA mini for quite some time--it truly is an incredible camera. I've struggled to find friction arms for an external monitor(I also have the 5" video assist) that support the weight. Have any suggestions?
You edit on a laptop...? @#$%^&* That's encouraging. Digging through video clips up to 4Gbs (max bitrate from a BMPCC 4k), I would have expected a high-end gaming style desktop PC or Mac.
Look at sound like at waves. They just bounce of some materials (like walls), and absorbed by others (like bed). If you have reverb effect in the room best is to get rid of empty walls and square angles. Add some thick curtains on windows, some bookshelf, bed, mattress, carpet. Sometimes you have everything you need in your house, just need to rearrange it's placement :). I've found your channel because of this Rhino clip from 2016, and now follow every your video. I'm jealous too by the way :). Waiting to see more tips. Good luck! :)

Ive recently made the jump to the IMac Pro base specs. Buttery smooth! The laptop still did the job, but much happier with the IMac Pro
How does he not mention the gigantic mixing console or whatever that is on the desk and the size of the monitor or any of that
If you make it to Melbourne...I'm buying you a 🍺
