its still a direct injection engine (earth dreams) so its not the real deal 2.4 k24 that the 2014 and earlier gen4's had . This engine is called the k24W . I had a 2016 with the k24w and while it didnt have severe oil dilution it did have some . Smell your dipstick and let me know if it smells like gas .
The 2019 LX I purchased has been rock solid. I followed the maintenance schedule and did most of it myself. I have a little over 64k on it. We’ve done a lot of highway driving. Use synthetic oil and it will treat you well. I get around 30mpgs in rural driving trying to be soft on the pedal. Highway can vary depending on how fast you go. At 60 you’ll get about 30. Anything higher it declines. This has the 2.5 liter on the 2019 LX models. The stereo console is pretty basic. I purchased a third party aftermarket stereo console from Joying auto.
@CARS_AT_100 yeh, I'm leaning toward this model simply because it has the 2.4l. I just feel better about an engine that doesn't have a turbo that's trying to crank so much out of a small engine. Plus I'm looking for something to drive cross country, so I didn't want to have to worry about turbo issues in the middle of nowhere. Thanks though, great video. I'll have to figure out the fog lights and turn signal mirrors. Do you know or have you heard that if I bought the total mirror from an EX, off ebay for example, if it would work?
@@Theyralltakenfu Well! I ended up getting Toyota Cross L Trim and I’m very very satisfied and happy 👍👍🙏🙏 last June on this year . So far so good and no issues whatsoever still adjusting and the speakers wow!!!!im happy👍👍👍
Go to the settings menu on the infotainment screen and then scroll down until You reach settings. Go into the settings menu by pressing OK. From there You will want to scroll to the option that says "M-KM" and select it to highlight the other option.
We bought one today for my husband. I'm just disappointed with the interior design. My old accord sports interior is far better and nicer specially the camera and screen. The rear camera on this car sucks! and the screen so small! It should be nice too eventhough it's just a base model coz it's also expensive ... my daughter's 2017 civic is even nicer looking!!! shame!!
Its the roomiest small suv i've reviewed on my channel, its really surprising how much space inside, but quality of the interior is ok, thanks for your feedback
I disagree completely!!!!!! I got mine for 23800 plus a 3k trade in 2015 Nissan versa and 5k down. This is the best car I've had in my life. Absolutely phenomenal!!!!
@@teresaallen3045 If you decide to buy a CRV new. make sure that the oil dilution problem has been taken care of in the 1.5L Turbo engine. It's a huge problem with that engine, so be careful when buying. Look it up online. Just type in CRV oil dilution problem. If you buy a year 2019 LX and earlier, the LX has the 2.4L engine and it's fine.
Base models has the 2.4L engine. No oil dilution BS to deal with. We test drove one. I like it a lot.
Legendary bulletproof 2.4L!!!

Five years later, how is it holding up? We are thinking about buying one. Thanks!

Honestly not sure, i would think so, i think these cars are pretty simple, but best to do the research first
Does battery go dead like other models ? Or not cause it doesn't have all those useless options ?
No, it should be pretty reliable, thanks for the comment!
