How to Use Step Files in Solidworks

  • This guide shows you how to import step files into your Solid works drawing. First download the step file from www.comac.co.nz or use your own file. Open the step file in solid works and save. Open your assembly and import the saved step file. Mate all relevant surfaces and identify any cutouts that need to be made for the new part to fit

    I wonder why there are so many dislikes. Skipped the video because of dislikes but came back as there was no relevant video on this topic. Found this video extremely helpful. Keep up the good work.
