I am not getting a dissolve feature option in my imported step file like you are getting at the 3:24 mark. Is there an import option I need to change or something else that will fix this?

@@globalstudio6673 so, I was eventually able to get it to import properly and convert to an assembly and sldprts by messing with the import settings. Even after messing with the settings I still never did get that drop down option. I'm at work currently but when I get home I will grab some screenshots. I was just using the default general and step file import settings at first.

My laptop has 2gb graphics card [ HP (intel(R) core (TM) i3-7100U CPU @2.40 ghz) ] . when I convert step or imported file to feature works for recognization then it is not working and show "Feature command execution failed. Internal error " . Is problem of my laptop due to not heavy graphic card ? plzzzzzzzz sir reply me hurry. I also subscribed ur channel.

This one I don't have much idea. but importing the file is not related with the laptop configuration. it may be some kind of driver error or some file is missing in solidworks file directory. check the same problem in google once and also in youtube.

There is no direct import option available I believe, I tried to gather some solution and here one.
1)Import the IDX file into your Allegro or any other software you are using.
2)Then export the file into Different format(.DXF, .STEP).
3)Open the STEP or DXF file in Solid works.
I think this should work, Let me know if it works.
