How to activate Real view graphics in Solidworks 2024

I did not have to do this with SolidWorks 2023, the realview graphics just worked by default with my RTX 4080 Super. But when I upgraded to SolidWorks 2024 on the same computer with the same GPU, realview graphics was gone. This trick worked perfectly to bring it back, thank you so much!

Awesome, worked on my 2080 Super, was worried it was too old but this did the trick. Make sure to rename the file "Workarounds" not "Workaround", once I identified my error it worked like a charm!

Thank you! Worked for my RTX 2070S with the newest SW version. You have a typo in the video description: "Rename it as Workaround, keep remember capital W you have to use." BUT it needs to be renamed to "Workarounds" with an s at the end. Cheers!

These steps was what fixing Realview for me. Thank you!
I had to do this in two steps, with restart of Solidworks in between. First "Enhanced graphics performance" (this was the only one showing then), and after restart I could see the "Hardware accelerated silhouette edge" check-button, activated it, restarted, and it works.

please help. the realview graphics has been enabled but there is no actual render effect on the 3D Model. If I use 31408, the model is grayed out. If I use 30008 or 30408, nothing is happening. I followed the instructions, and the RealView Graphics option is now enabled in the menus, but turning it on or off does not actually change what is displaying. For example, a chrome sphere with RealView Graphics turned on still just looks matte and gray instead of mirroring the environment. Is this because the memory value used was not right for my graphics card?

For me, I had to create an additional key by my graphics card name in the Nvidia corporation folder as well and the hexadecimal values were 70008 for the NV40 folder and 4000000 for Nvidia corporation folder. commenting in hope to help someone.
