Sure, short answer it will be done using sweeps if you do not have access to SOLIDWORKS routing add-on. But if you do have access its a great way to just get wires auto creates as needed from point A to B without messing up other wires.
Thanks for the video. Unfortunately I work with sheet metal alot and had to learn it the hard way. But! Here are some valuable topics for future videos 1) Configurations (how to allow variable thickness for sheet metal parts; 2) Sheet metal bulk extraction (DWG/DXF macros) 3) Solid body to sheet metal conversion (helpful for complex form, when its better to define outline dimensions first) 4) Sheet metal blueprints (how to make a drawings, how to show bend lines, what to do when bend lines not appearing, what to display on a blueprint for most accurate representation etc.) Not a priority order, just common ideas that come to mind when I think of hard times working with this function.
I am your student. Constantly learning from your RUclips channel. . I would like to know from your long experience in SolidWorks how would SolidWorks be for simulation? Should I choose SolidWorks or any other software for simulation? If there is any other software, which software will I learn? Please suggest me. Thank you for your time.
I'm very glad you like my course. @shansultan1995, he is right, my course is the ultimate training I have made for SOLIDWORKS. On youtube, also if you go to my channel and go to the playlist tab, you will find some basic ones htere. I have included the link to 4 of those videos in the description of this veyr video we are commenting on
Awesome and very informative, i hope we get better experience from your content, especially i have enough experience of sheet metall in SW😅, but i really want to know more possibilities of SW for this, for example making a non-standart shapes likes surface of carcase, and what is K factor of manufacturing an so on. Amazing video❤ Keep it up
You have You have to understand what K factor means and it’s a matter of application. A lot of companies work with inner bend radius and some companies work with the K factor
Good day Mr. Aryan I’m facing a problem with my software and tried to send you by email I use solidworks over than 10 years and I always convert to dxf Last tow weeks till today, each file I convert to dxf especially for sheetmetal, the bending lines shows incorrect positioning, always miss alignment horizontally and vertically .. Did you face something like that or you know how to solve it.? I appreciate your help too much..
Your teaching is great I have a lofted body that I want to flat this to the smoth plane and I cant use "Insert bend" for this work( I don't know why it doesn't work) I will be happy if you help me to flat this. My body is a curved surface that lofted from one curve to another, And then thickened.
I hate this workbench, just like in CATIA it´s missing 90% of the most important functions like draws stamps etc. I know I know I l know it has some of this functionality build it BUT there is a reason Automotive sheet metal work bench exists and aviation sheet metal workbench. This here is good for simple boxes PC cases and such that´s it.
I get your frustration! It’s like trying to fix a car with a spoon sometimes. SolidWorks definitely shines for simpler stuff, but yeah, for hardcore automotive or aviation work, it doesn’t always hit the mark. Maybe they’re saving the good stuff for the next update... or just teasing us!
@@with-Aryan "...It’s like trying to fix a car with a spoon sometimes...." YES! Exactly. SolidWorks is such a great piece o software. Very straight forward, easy to learn, easy to use. I just wish it could do more sometimes. Like I hate the design tree. This goes for every CAD software besides CATIA. By far the best stand alone feature is the design tree. You can create and combine bodies with such an ease and you still have way less visual clutter and complexity. You design tree can grow branches not only up and down but also sideways. This really is unique.

Hands down, one of the best tutorials on sheet metal in Solid Works. Now waiting for simulation and visualization.
Coming soon! but first the next couple of episodes on sheet metal
@@with-Aryan 👍
Great video Aryan! We never stop learning or taking classes. We're like Doctors. lol.
So true!
Can you make a video on SW routing systems...Like wire harness design

If bend lines not appear click on the eye icon then click last icon
@@vinothraj2272that was not the questions list mate. Its just things that appear sometimes. Also It may not be that simple
Noted. Thank you for the feedback.
That was 100% helpful
Thank you
Glad it helped!

Not that good to be honest. It’s capable but still won’t use it for delicate stuff . Depends on your application a bit too
Please more sheet metal
Fore sure
Is there any playlist on your youtube where we can learn solid work
The Solidworks Pro Course he offers is unbelievably good! Check his website. I got it about a week ago and it blew my mind.

How do you find Solidworks Sheetmetal compared to 3D Experience Sheetmetal design?
I haven't worked with the 3DExperience sheet metal myself. but love the Sw version of it
very good sir , whats your mind about K factor ?
