Isn't it amazing how far we've come over the years. Those little cars are bouncing around like they don't have dampers, friction was probably the hot set up in those days. The total lack of safety is noteworthy also, the crowd just feet from the track, obviously a time before lawyers were allowed to roam free. LOL Thanks for posting, it's nice to see the good old days now and then.
This is a fantastic little film, I never even knew they had midget car racing at High Beach, a vague outline of the track still exists near the visitors centre, excellent posting.
