Its a great comfort to me knowing that even if Brian Trenerry made his video unwatchable by placing a huge BTA logo into the centre of the view nobody else made a penny out of it.
@beanwadage these videos of preston take me back to my youth. I remember standing on Preston station late 66 early 67 when i lived in Farrington nr Leyland. I used to make frequent visits to Lostock Hall steam shed and spotted some amazing Locos sheded there overnight

Great video Brian. I clearly remember boarding a Britannia "Robin Hood" on the Kings Cross to Cleethorpes service at Firsby on the East Lincolnshire main line in the 1960's. Then hanging out of the first carriage window all the way to Grimsby. Those Britannias were fantastic locos.
i remember (as a boy) standing on the platform at preston station around that time, with the flying scotsman (so i was told) sat in steam waiting to load passengers and continue on its journey.
You have some really great clips but does the BTA logo have to be quite so intrusive I found it spoiled my viewing pleasure even if you lifted it to the top left hand corner say. I appreciate you don't want people poaching them as well. Thnaks for uploading Stewart
Great video..just a shame the Brit's where stipped of their name plates at that time..I remember them vividly passing my home in Nottinghamshire on the GCR line in the early 60's when many where transfared to Immingham and ran the fish trains regulaly

The BTA Logo is too obtrusive.
