Just need to black out the mirrors, hood scoop and that red center piece between roof and rear windows. When i first got my Z.. its just plain Orange (Sebring orange). I went ahead and painted the mirrors, hood scoop and the roof from the windshield to the rear windows carbon flash. Also painted the brake calipers to Sebring orange. Just need some new wheels. Waiting til my wheel crack and then i buy some wheels. Also blackout the taillights and rear reflectors and bought smoke side markers
I actually went out of my way to find one that didn't have the blacked out mirrors, I like it better the same color as the car, yeah I want to get the side marker lights in the future! Thanks for watching!

Looks perfect. Great job. I hopefully will be getting a C7 in the near future. As of right now I drive an 04 Torrid Red GTO M6 😁 and no I am not getting rid of it lol. I am in the Central Texas area near Ft. Hood.

Your car looks great 👍. You are so right about the tint, I got 5% on my C7 Stingray convertible and it's horrible at night. I like the z51 rims too, but want some new ones eventually. The forged wheels are nice, but super expensive.

You’ve got a sweet Vette man. I love the mods. I just picked up a ‘14 c7 a couple months ago. Mine is black. From watching this video I’ve subscribed and I want to watch your other videos and make several of the same mods. My favorites are the aero kit and that rear defuser looks so bad ass.

I just lowered it and that's all I did, I didn't take it to get aligned, you can if you want to.

Really interesting video. I have a 17 Grand Sport (Torch Red) that I am constantly updating. I am curious about your selection of headers and exhaust system. Could you tell me the hp boost from the system, approximate cost and where you had it installed. Thanks, Bruce
Well I have the American racing longtube headers, American racing offroad x-pipe and the corsa xtreme axelback exhaust, all that cost around $4000, to dyno tune because of the headers it cost about $500-600. I had my buddy who knows how to work on c7 corvettes he did it free of charge for me, awesome I know right! So I'm not sure how much it would cost to get it all installed. But my car makes now 430rwhp and 460rwtq, the only other thing that's added is a ported throttle body. Any other questions and I'll be glad to answer to the best of my ability.

I have a question for you Mr. Rougue Vette. Why do you need a catch can? I have a 2018 stingray. I don,t see any oil blowing around there. Please explain why I need one. Much appreciated.
I had one in my 03 cobra and it worked well to catch some oil after some time went by, and with the one I have installed on my vette I've already had to empty it a few times since I've installed it, so I would say it does help, otherwise there wouldn't be anything in the catch can to catch. That's my word on that, but some see that it helps and others don't, but at the end of the day it's your ride so do what you want.

Type in Lloyd weather mats on Amazon, that's where I got mine. Hope this helps!

I went with their C7 Stage 2 body kit, it has their stage 2 z06 side skirts, stage 2 front splitter and stage 2 winglets, with their stage 2 rear spoiler from Extremeonlinestore.com

@@TheRogueVette you got the lift pads, do you also have a lift? I have a 3 bay shop with a 2 post lift. The locking pads are so nice! I also learned what lowering on the bolts means, thanks.

Dude on the carbon fiber parts , are they hydro dipped parts or are they inserts that you attach to the part. Thanks in advance.
I think they are hydro dipped and they have the 3M tape on the back to attach to the interior
@@TheRogueVette Thanks, that's what I was thinking but wasn't sure. The curved parts look like they must've hydro dipped them . Then again, they might have been real carbon fiber parts. Where did you get them if I may ask so that I can get a set or check out their price?

What do you mean by trash bank envelopes?
@@TheRogueVette When you go to a bank and withdraw money. They give it to you in an envelope. what do you do with it?There is no garbage can in a vette.
@@jraymond3218 just throw it on the passenger seat, maybe the glove box, or the back of the trunk or take it inside and trash it.

The grandsport, z06 and zr1 have rear brake vents, the z51 and base don't. I do have a z51, it has the dry sump oil system which the z51 cars have. There are alot of other things that make it a z51 vs a base.
