Absolutely Darren. It slightly worrying that, your getting free food and expect it too be Vegan every time. I was vegetarian for ten years, but if I was getting free food, I won’t freak out if it wasn’t veggie, as they are doing me a favour. Don’t get me wrong Toba is incredible and I love the guy.

19:08 Pro tip: If you're ever in a place where you need your transit card to *leave* the train station, calmly explain that you threw your ticket out after boarding as you didn't think you'd need it to exit like back in (Home city). Granted, it helps if you actually list a place that doesn't require your ticket to leave like Chicago.

I always wondered if these challenges would work for(without trying to sound rude) people other than Simon. I know you went across Eastern Europe aswell and it helped to clear up some misconceptions I had about those places for me and probably quite a few people that watched! Nate be careful while using the metro without a ticket because at times there are officers who comes and checks for tickets if you have one. If not you have to pay a fine. Enjoy and all the best

Not many quality or new kinds of travel channels out there but this is really really good
You can typically bridge some of the distance that you covered on foot by catching a hotel shuttle from the Marina Mall to the hotels which may be on the other side of the city and/or closer to where you need to be. Same applies to Emirates Mall.
Loved the song and atmosphere from 12:53. It was kind of ethereal. Walk was long but very scenic!

The law, in some cases, can be altered for the specificity of the situation. It’s not cheating. It’s living. The world was not ready made with laws. Assume a certain amount of freedom that is given to you. The ticket hall staff was being selfish. Ask yourself why she didn’t let him through. To maintain her reputation in her job. So rather than helping somebody who has no money, she would rather not risk helping someone in order for her to continue earning money.
@@RaynGlass Completely untrue. You don't beg and exploit an open door because you plead to have no money. Go and make that paper, don't put the staff members job at risk. No money no entrance. Whereas, the sikh temple welcomed anyone with a warm open arm to get nutrition free of charge, they didn't beg borrow and steal that food to cook and offer this to anyone. The moral of the story, do it the legal way, man up and walk the walk.
@@POVDrivingTour I can see why you have the opinion that you have but it’s not as simple as that. Money is a complicated thing that not everyone has access to. That’s the whole point of this channel. It’s showing how you don’t need money to thrive. The law is good in most cases but it’s built upon a foundation that overall makes the poor poorer and the rich richer. It keeps us in a rigid structure. In our society, we are like parts of a well oiled money printing machine continuously running. I know stupid analogies and trying to sound sophisticated like I know what I’m talking about doesn’t help convey my opinion. It’s not really about the law or the woman not letting him on the train. It’s about how that kind of attitude is all around. How we all are separate, isolated and selfishly living our own lives in hope to receive more and more. Why can’t we just help people when they need help and act a bit more like a community?

Hey mate, the lady was about to help you, if you listen to her conversation at 12:08 she just went into the cabin and said "give me one ticket", seems that she was about to buy you a ticket or get a free ticket but it's unfortunate that you went in with that guy when the gate opened 😂😂 she again came out of the cabin and again sent you back and dropped her plan of helping you, you should've waited for 5 more min mate 😊😀

It's quite an experience.
Looking back, my guess is you should have eliminated the agents that brought attention to yourself and done the walk thru with someone (as you did) for access to the train.
Hesitancy is not your friend, but I do understand. Your adventures are courageous. So glad you made it there on your own and got some sustenance. 👍😉
