Simon Wilson can u go from chorley Lancashire and walk up to and through the Leeds Liverpool canal and head up to leads with no money and do it for charity there is No traveling and no money but u can make it on your way and if you come off the canal to look around u have to go back to the bit u came off and carry on walking down the Leeds Liverpool canal

Simon you ought to collect the pfand bottles and cans and take them to a collection point, maybe netto or lidl... you get 15 cents I think for each item, some more than others and they give you a voucher that you can spend on food. Lots of the homeless in berlin do it, it’s a great initiative

Hey Simon, I would recommend trying to get to Prague, Czech Republic. You should be able to sneak onto a train to get there or get someone to buy you a ticket from Berlin. Culture in Prague is beautiful but definitely out of your comfort zone. Worth it!

I’ve noticed a lot of countries are like that with the charging non speakers more/ treating them differently. Not even the fact you’re not from from there it’s if you can speak the language. language. Its especially common in Asia. It doesn’t make much sense though. I understand that tourists tend to be charged more and speaking someone’s language or attempting to can gain respect from them but it’s weird how people charge based on if you can speak the language

One hint: better don't fly (especially commercially like you do) your drone in cities or other prohibited places. You need a register plate for your drone with your address on it, you need an insurance and you have to check if you are in a legal place to fly (which nearly any place with buildings is not if you don't have permission of the owner, or in case of public places, the "Ordnungsamt"). If the catch you with a drone without fireproof plate and without insurance you are really screwed...
he also did it right next to the us embassy. probably the worst place to fly a drone in berlin.

@@8kw7mx9 Very, very few Germans (except immigrants) speak a language other than German & English. Be honest. I worked in a hotel in Annecy and only 10% of German visitors wanted to try out their French. Brits maybe 20%.

I just got back from Munich and Frankfurt and I am recovering from full blown depression. Not even joking.

L F I honestly don’t know, the moment I landed in Frankfurt, my heart just sank and I felt depressed throughout my stay in Germany (including Munich). And I googled and apparently, it happened to a Scottish student who went there to study . And about 2 of my colleagues said the same! Though they didn’t stay for Long as they went back right after our meeting ended. I extended my stay, hoping for an adventure. The people were nice though. Helpful bunch.
