It’s 3:30 in the morning on a Saturday night. I spent the last hour and a half in my basement trying to figure out a solution. We lost power just like your customer, and this solution worked for me as well!
if you hold down the "M + Back" buttons at the same time, its get you to the technician menu. In there you can perform a quick test mode. For some reason a few units got a weird glitch after power outage the boiler pump delay stuck in weird mode and never kick back on. I usually bring it down to 3 minutes, then wait for it to pump to start again. After its started working I set it back to 20-30 minutes.

i know you said you like them, but iam keeping my old weil-mclain 85% gas boiler. never breaks down,plus i can fix it myself.very simple.
I couldn’t quite get what you did to fix it. I have the same issue and I couldn’t understand what you did to make the heat work again. The video wasn’t clear.
Perhaps something simple as a ups in line with the power. It also conditions the sine wave for the electronic controller and has a surge protector to return the surge to the line while the battery kicks in and keeps the unit powered. Got a good deal on cyberpower on thanksgiving every year! working now for three years on the internet!
One of our customes has the same issue, always changes to pump after power outage, Navien said to put a surge protector on it and still doing the same thing. This is the 3rd time with this unit and its the only unit we have had this issue with. Did you find out from tech support if its a board or control panel issue?
Are there default settings? I keep trying to turn mine back on and a minute or so later it cuts off
The exhaust pipe vent collar in the Navien water heater was poorly designed and can lead to the exhaust pipe spontaneously disconnecting from the tankless water heater and venting carbon monoxide directly into the home.
Bosch combi is better at least they dont have wrongful death lawsuits like Navien has.
