Is there anyway to order the bassinet adapters to the us or do you have any idea where to find them? Baby jogger in the us has discontinued them and they told me that they do not have any alternative suggestions for me so i am unable to attach our bassinet to our x3 since we lost the adapters. I see baby jogger aus has the adapters still but i cant order them from the us.

Can you order them in Australia to go through some kind of third party that re-directs the package to USA?

The summit X3 uses the same bassinet and capsule adapters as the original city mini, city mini GT & city elite.
Which is different to the current city mini 2, city mini GT2 & city elite 2.
Although the Deluxe Bassinet that fits the summit X3 also fits the city select /select LUX/select 2 - but using different adapters that come with the bassinet.
But the select and select LUX bassinet kit doesn't fit the summit X3.
      Super clear right? 😆
I think Baby Jogger is the most confusing brand for bassinets.

Hi there - it seems like these adapters have been discontinued by Baby Jogger. Any idea where to buy? We’re located in Philadelphia, PA, USA

Hi Cait, that is interesting! I wonder if this means the summit X3 is being updated in line with the city mini 2/ GT2/ elite 2 which were all updated in 2019.
That might be a question to put to Baby Jogger USA - I'd be asking them how long ago the adapters were discontinued and which USA stockists/retailers last ordered them to see if you can track down a retailer that still has any in stock.
Otherwise, I was aware the Maxi Cosi adapters are out of stock/discontinued in Australia for a little while, but the city GO adapters and Deluxe bassinet adapters are all still available here.
Which adapters are you looking for? Was it the Deluxe Bassinet adapter, city GO capsule, or just any capsule?
I'm happy to see what I can hunt down for you or if there are any other solutions I can recommend.

How do we put a newborn in without these two modifications? Like just straight into the seat? It says it’s rated for it but the straps seem too big and loose for our newborn, even when tightened all the way down. Any tips for this?

      @ParentingCentral  Год назад

Hi Eric, great question. You should be able to put baby directly into the seat - making sure the shoulder straps are in the lowest position and tightening the crotch, hip and shoulder straps.
It can be tricky securing fresh newborns in any harnessed seat when they still have the "newborn scrunch".
If it's still feeling not quite right the best thing to do would be to reach out to Baby Jogger /or the Baby Jogger distributor in your country and they might be able to assist you with more specific advice.

Isnt the basinnet too high for your height? Is it comfortable to put in or out the baby? Thanks

Hi Jan, thank you for your question. I personally found it a nice height for myself - I'm 165cms tall - because I wouldn't need to bend/lend over to get baby in and out. Also it feels quite close for when you're pushing the stroller having baby up high like that. I hope that helps! - Rachel.

Not sure the product number but the SKU in Australia is SEL2-BASS-BLACK
Otherwise if you can let me know what country you're in I'm sure I can find a link to the correct bassinet.
