I have a ruby and your bang on, a unbelievable paddle!
I've tried them all...
15 year player....
Best paddle going at this moment...
PURSUIT 6.0 PRO
Any EX or MX
Can you tell me if this paddle lose the carbon grip on the face of the paddle my old engage pursuit ex 6.0 lost it in 3 games it doesn’t have a grip of the ball I am so upset
4.5 player here. Not for control. I play with a Pursuit Pro MX and a Luxx and they couldn’t be any more different. Luxx is a cheat code for drops and dinks. Not much power - add a half oz of weight in the throat and it helps.
The LUXX is incredible!
Volair Mach 2 forza not on the list?!?!?
I would have thought the Volair Mach 2 Forza would be on the list as well. Maybe it came out after this video? I have the Ruby and the Mach 2 and I would say the volair is much better at control but the ruby might be more of an all court paddle. Today I’m enjoying the control of the Mach 2 a little more than the ruby.
Can you do a video on your top paddles for “feel”. You seem to distinguish that from “control”, right?
Yes for me feel and control are different. Feel is the connection you have for the ball which can be excellent on a stiff paddle that wouldn't technically amplify control.
vatic pro not on the list?
What is the best control paddle that will last me a LONG time? I am currently using the LUXX, been using it for 3 months and I can't drive with it anymore at all. Money isn't the issue here. I just want a good paddle because I play a lot
Give the SixZero Ruby a shot.
I need something with the biggest sweetspot possible. I think the worst part of my game is that i dont hit the sweetspot enough and then the ball goes a completely randomass direction.
What paddle you grabbing for singles. Ruby or LUXX?
Lux has no power for singles. Ruby all the way.
I’d say Ruby for sure, much more spin and amazing for passing shots
Good question. I would actually say the Ronbus R3 Nova.
Hello.. I own R1 nova and wanted to try a different paddle .. toss up is between ruby & lux invikta any suggestions?? or any other paddle to move from my current 4.25 to 4.5-5 level?
Mainly for doubles
If it's mainly for doubles, try the Ruby. That shorter shape will be awesome for hand speed.
Thank you
Amazing. Just what I needed to know. Ruby it is.
I was also wondering about these two lines and in the end I chose RUBY. it's amazing.
What would be the best overall combo paddle (power and control)?
Whatever the number one player in the world uses. Joola
if you like a chinesium paddle with low quality control. joolas are famous for huge differences in spin generated because their paddle faces have so little quality control@@dannycox4909
I would say either the Ruby of the Luxx Control Air Invikta.
@@dannycox4909 the number one player in the world is number one because of his skill not his paddle. He’s also sponsored so he has no choice but to play with a Joola
which paddle has the biggest sweet spot?
Of these ones, the SixZero Ruby or the Luxx Control Air Invikta.
And vaticpro?
Love my prism v7
I wouldn't say any of their paddles excel for control at the moment, but they are fantastic for power/spin.
Volair Mach 2 Forza and Gruvn Muvn-16S should have made ths list
The Mach 2 was definitely close and, unfortunately, we don't carry Gruvn.
@@RacketsandRunnersPickleball "The Mach 2 was definitely close"??? The Mach 2 Forza is more of a control paddle than the Ruby or the Nova. Less pop, much lower swing weight, better sweet spot, and better spin. How's it not a btter control paddle than the Nova and especially the Ruby? :)
Pretty damn accurate
No Volair Mach 2 Forza?
That's the paddle I was looking at too since the Ruby is out-of-stock currently. I'm playing with the Neonic Flow right now which I'm enjoying a lot. Just tempted to try a Kevlar paddle.
Ruby is back in stock! Canada shipping only. racketsandrunners.ca/products/sixzero-ruby-16mm?_pos=1&_psq=ruby&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Mach 2 is great control paddle. Loving mine.
Mach. 2 Forza owner here! Great paddle that elevated my game!
Hudef Mage Pro for value and effectiveness
should do some videos on shoes for pickleball :)
Yes, definitely will do!
I bought the Selkirk Luxx Control Epic and I find that if I hit it within 2 inches of the top of the paddle I get this hollow sound almost like a dead sound. Is this normal? I have only played with it twice. It is also a very muted paddle and I find it hard to get any power. I put lead tape on the sides of it going up the throat to where it starts to widen to try to get some power. Would that be the correct spot?
That sound is normal (I think); it's when you make contact outside the sweet spot. For the lead, that's great placement to increase power and even feel.
Was anyone else waiting for a wipe out as they slide on the wet court ?

ooooh - reminds me of something out of looney toons@@RacketsandRunnersPickleball
Surprised no DBD or Vatic Prism
I mean the ruby is basically DBD
The Ruby beats out the DBD IMO.
Expensive paddle in the lot
Robinson Susan Rodriguez Susan Moore Daniel
Do you not like paddletek? You only have videos about new paddles mostly from small startups
And Chinese made paddles from massive factories.
Selkirk vanguard control and luxx are made in the USA btw, going back to paddletek the alw-c is nice
I have both the ALW-C 12.7 and 14.3 and they are amazing! Good control and power but you need to put lead tapes
You you should do a quick montage on all the paddles you did try, and didn’t make the top five-because either you tried or did not have the opportunity to try the top paddle from Gearbox.????
the gearbox pro "control" paddle barely feels like a control paddle lol@@ecazzomio1560
Unfortunately we don't carry Paddletek at the moment.
Moore Mark Wilson Jose Thomas Margaret
All those paddles are wet phone books....
6-0 company sucks. Keep it down under.
Huh
