I can really appreciate the care and attention to detail you put into this conversion! Is it possible to do the reverse? I want the improved engine and tech from the LCI, but I very much dislike the front end appearance. I imagine the "downgrade" would be sacrilege to some, but to my eyes, the pre-LCI is the most beautiful 7er ever made and I would greatly prefer that front end.
Your attention to details is amazing! Might be easier for the owner to buy the new model instead than going thru this complicated facelift process which is for sure expensive.
Amazing spec with individual Tartuffo leather and Bowers and Wilkins stereo laser lights this car is top spec. Considering the interior is exactly the same as the new facelift model this is well worth the work and if you can find the new parts on decent price it will be trendy for at least another 2 years before the next gen hit the roads. Since the car you are working on is a 740e/Le you should switch out battery with 745e/Le (uses the same space) or put in a larger battery pack. See if you could add a larger KWh battery pack because the 745e/Le is only 12.1KWh

That’s kind of my research the f07 is based off of a 7 series chassis. And cool F07 bumpers are not very cheap. Thanks again for your awesome videos and it’s amazing how detailed your work is!

yes you are right it is very expensive but if you have a car from brand new and it has a few miles on board ....
Might be a tad expensive, but can recoup some of the money by selling the removed parts 😅

On a 2014 f07, are the front end parts compatible with a standard 550I or more so a M5. I’d like to swap out the bumper on mine.

Unfortunately they are totally different, different body, headlights, you can't do that 😕 , you need to search a front bumper only from f07
