This is what's so great about Keith's playing. There's always a sense the whole thing could go wrong at any moment.
This is why Charlie will be so sorely missed. Even with a false start Charlie was there until Keith got it on the rails.
Its the Neil Young Crazy Horse effect.... totally
@@j_freed what do you mean by that?
Yees ! Good explanation sir !
You have to love the guy.
Every day that Keith Richards wakes up, is a plus for the planet. -C
I think Keith is pretty happy to wake up every day these days.
Without a single, solitary doubt.
I second that sooooooooooooooo.....
Ya man
I think he's a super funny guy, never seems to take himself too serious. Then again, if I could afford his lifestyle, I wouldn't take anything too serious either. Did hear though, that he expects the band to be prepared. All 10 of them!!
Even when he messes up or "forgets" the lyrics, he still looks cool as hell!!
True that. Awesome guy. Mick also lol. 👅👅👅💨💨💨
I smile when some band make wrong things in the stage, that means that they are plugged into the amps, no playbacking
The man has mileage, no stress
@@johancoes6984 ~ He Truly IS Just Absolutely Wonderful!! THAT IS A FACT.
Messes up the intro, starts with the wrong line and is still the coolest guy ever on stage. How could one not love him?
I began playing guitar in the 70's after seeing keith play. He always made it look like the coolest thing ever
And it was. Keith is even cool when he makes a mistake.
Same for me. Started at 13 yo in '72. After I heard Honky Tonk Women, I knew I had to learn to play.
BTW-I met Keith in 2006. He was the nicest guy. It was a thrill for me to meet my music idol.
Long live my musical hero since I was 7
Keith is Rock and Roll personified.
No, sorry I don't agree.......KEEF IS ROCK N ROLL.
that is not rock and roll. rock and roll was finished before the stones even started, that is NOISE definitely not rock n roll........
So true
I'm a huge fan of Keith, don't get me wrong, but a lot of it is all part of an act. He has an image which he has to maintain. It's showbiz! 🎸
I love that about The Rolling Stones, when they mess up at a live concert, just go ahead and get into it. That's why I love live music.
Certainly missing it the last few months...life just ain't quite the same without music...
Hello how are you doing today..
@keith richards are u the real keith? cause you would have a channel with nothing on it and use that picture.. ask me something a die hard guitarist/keith stones fan would know..
Hmmm ? 🤔 When I mess up though everyone wants to heave stones (not Rolling) at me lol 😂
@keith richards ok possible keith, i sent it
How can you not love Keith...??? :)
Definitely, you can't NOT love Keef... no way, he's the Rock and Roll himself...
The fact the Keith is alive is a miracle of nature...and he knows it...that is why he is Happy!
So True
I have been saying this for almost a decade now! Were almost there currently!
I'm firmly convinced now that Keith will indeed be the last one standing. He seems, by and large, to be enjoying life--- i.e., happy ---though I haven't seen any clips of him since Charlie's passing. I'm sure that's weighing heavily on all of them, with the tour starting in a few days.
Exactly rt
@@patriciamorgan6545 I agree. He always seems genuinely carefree and happy, but you have to remember that we only get to see the best moments of his life - when he's performing on stage or being interviewed on TV etc. Don't get me wrong. I'm a huge fan of Keith, but a lot of it is all part of an act. He has an image which he has to maintain. It's showbiz! 🎸
Keith always looks like he’s having fun. How many rock stars these days would have maintenance done in the middle of a show without having a tantrum or just walking offstage.
The members of Rush. They turn stuff like that into humor.
When I want to be reminded of the joy of guitar playing, I just watch Keef
Keith makes me happy

Keith sounds amazing! For someone most didn't think would see his 30th birthday. He not only proved them wrong but still looks pretty damn good! Keith is the core of the Stones. ❤
HE is the définition of Happy, when he is on stage! 😉
Been doing it before time began and still loves it good old Keith
This is priceless. I was around in the late 50s all through the 60s and I am just absolutely blown away that these guys still are doing it. God bless them
Best band ever, all time.
Me tooo! I grew up w them was 2 in 1962. Always have and am their greatest fan!💋💋💋💋🔥🔥🔥🔥
The ultimate rocker. Never be another.
Long live Mr Richard
The great thing is, this exemplifies that they truly are “the world’s most popular garage band”. As every one of us who has rehearsed for hours and honed our craft to play as flawlessly as we can in front of people, all goes away as at the gig someone in the band will turn and look at another and ask... “how’s it go?” Lmao! Fuckin Keith is a goddamn legend. Still just a bar room guitar player.
and the richest!!
But he is song writer...and he knows that part real well. That what makes the difference.
Man how true that is!
Well, except that he helped write about 50 of the greatest rock songs ever along with the riffs that the bar bands try to play.
Rock is not about perfection.
Makes me smile seeing Keith & co still killing it!
Keith Richards is probably the coolest dude ever!
He's the Dude!
Keith and Charlie make ME Happy
I just love him more and more and more!!
I was there!! Front row!! Standing next to Patti Hansen, right by Keith's side. Although they did "Loving Cup" this night, the previous night (where I also was fortunate enough to have front row - on the other side), was their debut return engagement with Mick Taylor, and boy, let me tell you, THAT was one of the most amazing Stones concerts ever. They were literally on fire. Had such an energy and attack, that, despite the $600 each ticket, it was worth much more! Thanks Oz! Love you loads! Namaste.
I was also at this one, has to be the second Perth gig on the Saturday November 1st ? I was right up at the front and it was the best Stones concert I’ve ever been to, was better than the Wednesday one, although Adelaide Oval the week before was cracking too, I spent a lot of dosh on the Stones that year ha ha
@@deanknoote114 Oh c'mon Dean. The first Perth show was waaay better! So much more vigour and virility. (They stuffed up both Loving Cup and Richards stuffed up his song the second night). Although, I did enjoy the encore jam the 2nd night. Gosh I miss Australia!
I reckon it depends on our seat number ? On the Wednesday night ( despite the $600 tix cost) I was out of the tongue pit, first bank of seats, miles from the stage, on Saturday night I had an eye watering expensive ticket, actually leaning on the stage at the very front.. which may explain why Saturday night was so epic !! 🤷🏼♂️
@@deanknoote114 Well, the first night I was front row centre just outside of the tongue, and the second night, I was front row by Keith, in the pit (standing next to Patti Hansen funnily enough but I didn't know who she was at the time!). I guess seeing Mick Taylor + Midnight Rambler for the first time was of epic proportions. If you only knew how many times I'd listened to that 1973 live Perth at the WACC back in the early 90s when cd's came out... oh man... I Just love that bootleg. (it's on par with Brussels). Where do you live Dean? LA?
@blusian74 not as an exotic address as you.. I live in CanningVale . Which is about 8miles from Perth Arena, where the Stones played that night ! Peace brother 🍻
Saves it with his ebullience and humility! Love Keith - and this tune!!
"Loading...please wait". Love that ad- lib from Keef!
I LOVE TO HEAR KEITH RICHARDS SING 🖤💋✌
Keith Richards is an amazing specimen he is what he is and always has been I love those guys I have a special place in my heart for the Rolling Stones for being who they are that’s it making some of the greatest music ever created
I'm sixty, starting playing drums at five, grew up playing Stones and Beatles and Clapton albums every day, trying to get it just like it was done when recorded. What I love about Keith is, he makes mistakes like we all do, and live, anything can go wrong, but he laughs it off and goes on to entertain like he always does not you forgot all about the mistake. I was playing recently in Orlando with my band and we do an entire Stones set, seven tunes in a row, and suffering for the last ten years with severe degenerative disc disease and many other skeletal diseases and neurological disorders that go with it, but four meds a day, old school mentality, deciding, no surgery just yet, but thank God for pain medication, in the middle of Tumbling Dice, my Nurapathy decided to kick in, I was playing and the stick just dropped out of my hand, happens all the time with a glass, which is why I have been using a plastic cup with ice when I walk around my completely tiled home, because I have two dogs and three house cats that I don't need to eat broken glass, but anyway, I kept the best with one hand as I quickly reached into my stick pouch, which is right in front of me hooked to my snare and no one was the wiser, except our bass player, because he stands usually right next to me and saw it fly, and smiled with approval and gave me a thumbs up for how quickly I got another stick and continued. Point is, it happens all the time and I understand why some rock stars get mad because they want to put on a perfect show, but you can't get mad, keep going, laugh, and play.
He's such a nut ball that Keith. I'm sure his ability to not get rattled about things in life for decades, has kept him happy.
And he’s still happy! Now I’m happy. Awesome.
This is not just "Happy", it's joyous, love Keith
Great Keef ! Down to earth humour, thanks ! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I really hope that ‘Keef’ IS immortal because of all the GREAT rock stars yet to pass - he’s the one that I’ll miss the most. I’ve always thought that the Keith songs are the real treasures of the Stones catalog; this song and “Walk before they make me run” are my two theme songs.
Thank you for posting this little gem. If there was a ❤️ button next to the 👍🏽, I’d hit that button too!
Has there ever been a cooler and more easy going guy than Keith Richards? I can’t think of one.
That's just Keef, laughing and enjoying his life. He's the goddamn Human Riff, so he can play anything he wants :) Or don't play at all!
@keith richards hey keef do u mind if i stop by for a couple 🍋's??
Also when and if u play Boston next year?? Can u plzzz play "Coming down again"?? idk u said you'd never perform that tune in concert??🤔 but hell can't u just play it..it's friggin awesome man!!🎸

The way he holds and plays the guitar is cool😂
I been playing years ,but hell I could not play with my axe round my nuts. Also its damn hard to play lead bricks while singing ,hence the back up lead axe man .Same as BB King, if u ever watch a clip of him playing, he always stops lead when he sang.

This is the best singing I've heard from Keith in a long time. I can understand ever word.
this guy will never run out of energy..HAPPY !
Saw McCartney in concert mess up the lyrics to We Can Work it Out. Forgot the words! Stopped song and restarted from the top. It happens. When you have 500 songs in your head and also have to remember the chords to play, it must be intimidating, but they somehow pull it off, mostly flawlessly

How truly great it is to see him still rockin n a rollin after all these years...and this was in 2014, he’s a living legend we all who love rock should embrace...no mistake...just forgot...he’s probably forgotten more than most of us have ever known.
I wish I could see the Stones with no extras & frills - just 2 guitars, a bass, drums and Mick
That's how it was when I saw them in 2007. The performance of this song was one of my favourite moments, didn't expect them to do it. Sounded so much better than this.
The best rock musician of all time ... thank you !!
He screws up the lyrics as well.. but he can afford to do anything with it. He wrote it. Love Keith!
At 00:40, when Keith turns and asks "How does it go?" you can hear Ronnie singing the intro for him!
Very cool
The real deal.... and a complete gentleman to boot; surprisingly old-fashioned sensibilities. The world needs Keef.

Awesome! Love keith! This how technical difficulties and general forgetfulness should be handled. I am amazed he can still play at all!!?

They are a living time capsule of music
Wicked steel playing by Ronnie. Spot on!
At Keith's birth God came down from heaven and bend on his cradle and said "You'll be my best buddy Keith" :)
