I think you have the timing a bit off in regard to BlueCo purchasing Strasbourg. They were purchased after the 22/23 season (June, 2023). That season they finished 15th. So they actually climbed the table by two places their first year under BlueCo. I’m sure that was just a mistake, but I don’t like how everything BlueCo does gets painted in a negative light on social media.
How is only Enzo and Chelsea being held accountable but Julian Alvarez and Garnacho who were in the video too didn't even apologise and City and United nothing...crickets?

Bro you keep talking as if we do not have the money because of the wages of players like Fofana and Casadei. I don’t think that’s the issue. I think the issue is that if you bring in a player who had done nothing for the club and isn’t the absolute best in the world, you risk upsetting other players who will feel that they deserve similar wages. And with the new rules coming in, we also have to be aware of agent fees.
honestly speakin NIco Williams is not worth breaking the wage structure. Kvaratshelia is definitely worth it a 100x over.
Still don't want Nico Williams. We don't know that our economic games (selling stuff to ourselves) is actually going to work, we don't know that the FA will accept those transactions at their value as being proper market value, and we're probably pretty close to the edge even if those shenanigans go through at full value. On top of this, we're not as rich on assets that can be liquidated as we once were, the loan farming is drying out because of FIFA rules, and we have 40+ numbered players and probably another 20 without.
And so far I haven't seen any realistic suggestion for what we can do with Mudryk and Sterling. I also haven't seen anyone suggest how we develop Estevao and Paez next year (or Tyrique George) while having three undroppable players for the two attacking positions we're likely to use those talents in, as well as Jackson, Mudryk, Sterling, Madueke for depth.
I know some people don't think we should bother developing talents but effing hell, you do not buy Hazard-level talents and beyond and then let them rot with PL2 football. That's insane. What you do is what Barca has been doing with Yamal, what they did with Messi.

Viera leaving Strasbourg is massive. Came from Fance, played in the PL, understands the challenges and skills required to be competitive in both leagues. Moreso to make a modern, ever evolving CFC team. The pipeline from Africia to France to Chelsea is there. Opportunities for foreign players to have a safe haven at a budding Chelsea consortium 2nd team to develop exists.
With less TV money, French clubs post Covid have some belt tightening to do. Wage bill, bonuses, transfer fees have to be reduced. Selling academy and team players is an option. Replacing them with younger, resell, upscale value players is another lever. Loan deals, player swaps, loan/buy with player(s) plus cash is another lever. Survival first
