Thank you so much for this. New wearer…I’ve asked others with no answers! When I cover my peak I feel like more forehead isn’t mine! Loving using it. Yours is darling!
Yay! Ive got an Eddie Munster widows peak! Im glad to see this. My grandpa had a massive widows peak and he wore his hair in a flattop. His friends called him VF (his initials). When I was a kid I thought they called him VF because his hair made a big V in the front! Kids! My grandfather head 6 kids and all of them have a very pronounced widow's peak and every grandchild! What's really weird is I am the oldest and I have the most prominent widow's peak and the youngest the has the least prominent. And it literally works its way down. My brother, who was 13 months younger the me had a strong one also! Some of the lace front wigs do give me issues. I had a hair dresser suggest I shave it off! Back in the 80s ( You may not be as old as me so youmay not have done the 80s perms, I graduated in 1981) , but when we all permed our hair in spiral perms, my widow's peak hair did not curl well. If they wrapped my hair with pink rods they had to use a blue rod for my widow's peak hair to get it to be as curly as the rest. Those your windows peak hair act differently? Hehe I just saw the Eddie munster pic! I too love my widows peak, but it's an issue with wigs. 😗
Thanks for the visit Moni! There are certain wigs that don't play as well with my widows peak... that's where those old eye palettes come in handy..lol! XOXO
I have not considered my widows peak a problem. It shows and is brown, but I either wear brown wigs or rooted wigs. Even when I wear a lace front I think it still looks natural and blends in. Thank you Taz. I love your channel.
You always look cute in all your wigs Taz , even with your widow's peak. When I was in school in 7th grade my homech teacher said people that have widow's peak is a sign of beauty. I don't have one but I think they are pretty.
Loved This Video Taz!! Sooo Interesting!! Love Your Short Hair!! Thank You For a Perfect Video as Always my Friend!! Please You and Yours Stay Safe and Well!! Love and Hugs!! XOXOXO
Thank you Taz! I have a widows peak and I've been shaving it! Lol! I really don't like having to do that either, because it looks funny when I'm not wearing a wig. This has been very helpful!! Appreciate you addressing this issue. ;)
Very interesting! I like how you part on the left working with your widow's peak. I have a low hairline in back...I guess the only thing to do is buzz/shave it. Oh, and good morning to you!
😂 I bought a Raquel Welch wig after seeing you show a really full, curly one. Everything looked perfect except......my widows peak. I epilated it 😱 but within a few days it was coming back and ruining my look with my natural hair, so I’m letting it grow! I’ll definitely try your tricks instead. I’ve fallen in love with wigs because I’ve got fine hair but lots of it, and it just flops at the end of a day. What if I want to be a redhead? Red eyeshadow? Thank you, Taz. You’re so helpful 💞💞💞
Hi Taz! I’m fairly new to wearing wigs and I have a low hairline. It’s straight across but is only 3 fingers high. On a regular cap, I pull the wig edge behind my natural hairline and pull about a 1/4 inch to 1/2 of my natural hair all along my hairline and blend it with the wig. I want to try a lacefront (Simmer- Raquel Welch) but I worry that if I wear it at my hairline it will look heavy and ‘wiggy’, but I don’t know if you can pull a lacefront behind your hairline and blend it. I don’t want to spend the money if there is no way to make it look right. I would love your input.
Hello and welcome! Your solution is the best one! However, I do understand the dilemma of the lace front. You could pull the hair out in front of the lace front, but you would have to wear the hair down over the lace to cover it, which would defeat the purpose of the lace front. Or, you could simply pull the lace down over your hairline and style it to look more natural XOXO
Hi Taz, I am new to wigs(your my fave on RUclips..lol) anyways is there any tricks you do at the hairline to make it look so real when you have your wigs on?
Hello and welcome! Here is a video that shows everything I do to the wig to help it look more natural:-) ruclips.net/video/7xAKuQV-1QY/видео.html Enjoy the day! XOXO
I noticed you don’t wear wig caps. I am new to wearing wigs. I’ve noticed a line where the wig cap ends and my widows peak is wearing a lace front. Do you suggest not wearing a cap and using adhesive or glue to keep the wig secure ? I still have bio hair. I’m sorry if you’ve answered this. I went thru the videos
My windows peak is lifting the lace front and causing it to look unrealistic. I tried the got2bglued but it didn’t really work. Should I trim the lace? Maybe to mimic my hairline and widows peek? I can pull the hair out as well.
That's a tough one! I think I would use IT STAYS body adhesive to help the lace lay down. Make sure the lace front completely covers the widows peak.. be careful trimming or "carving out' a lace front for the widows peak.. it will weaken the lace and possibly cause it to fray XOXO
Oh my gosh! I’m so excited to try the make up technique! I don’t have a widows peak as defined as yours but I do have a spot that comes down a bit. This bothers me in my Affair by Ellen Wille in Champagne Mix bc it is not rooted and is so light. My bio is damaged & can’t be lightened right now & it so dark under it! I don’t wear her as much bc of this. I thought about trying to add a root but that makes me nervous. This might work!
Thank you for this! Love your videos. I’m new to wigs because of a medical problem and lace fronts seem obvious which defeats the purpose. Lol. I have a widow’s peak and hair that naturally grows on my side forehead which my wig can’t hide. Any tips what to do with those?
How do you glue or gel down the lace do you just gel the lace over top of the widows peak hair ? Sorry I’m new buying my first wing but worried about the widows peak thanks
i am the opposite. my forehead is so high that if i wear my wigs at my natural hairline they look as if they are slipping off the back , so i place them about 3 to 4 fingers above my eyebrows and they look right.
I am 16yr girl, from goa india 🇮🇳, I cutted my widow's pick by myself Only, and accidently cutted it in a concave shape, and they are growing again n again, what should I do to stop it☹️?
Sorry, I don't think theres a way to stop the widows peak from growing.. some laser treatments designed to remove unwanted hair may help! See a derm! XOXO
I have a widow’s peak and a super tiny forehead. Until recently, all wigs sat way too forward. Luckily, I still have hair and pull my bangs thru the front. I also no longer need a lace front and cut it back if it’s in the way. The only drawback is I have to stick to dark wigs to match. Dark bangs with lighter wigs should become a trend😆. You gave some great advice.
My problem is that i’ve got both a short forehead AND a widows peak with jet black hair. My only solution i’ve had is to just wear wigs with bangs, but a girl wants a natural hairline! I know i can pluck the wig hairline but that jacks up the lace sometimes and its incredibly tedious. How do i wear non lace wigs? How do i wear lace wigs that are waaaaay lighter than my jet black hair?
Same issue here, but bangs look odd on me. The best solution I've found is to leave about 1 in of my natural hair our on the front and blend it with the wig, but that limits the colors I can wear.
Thank you so much for this. New wearer…I’ve asked others with no answers! When I cover my peak I feel like more forehead isn’t mine! Loving using it. Yours is darling!
Thank you so much! I'm wearing a very blonde wig for Halloween and have dark hair with widows peak. I will try the makeup technique.

Funny story about your grandpa! Yes, my widows peak makes my hair grow strangely.. cowlicks on both sides of it! XOXO
Thank you...thank you...thank you! Finally some tips I can actually live with instead of shaving my hairline. You’re the best 🦊 ❤️.
You all inspire me so much! Thank you Karen! 😘😘😘
FANTASTIC JOB👍 Taz!
You REALLY did a TERRIFIC service with this one❣️
THANK YOU 😊
Thank you so much Julie!! I am so happy to share! 🤗🤗🤗

You are so gorgeous in every wig - even without them!
You are so clever. Great information, so helpful. Thank you.
Thanks for the visit and comments Deborah! 🤗🤗🤗
I have a small widows peak so this video hit home for me. Great suggestions! Hugs!
Thanks for the visit Moni! There are certain wigs that don't play as well with my widows peak... that's where those old eye palettes come in handy..lol! XOXO

Thanks for the feedback Elizabeth! I am so glad this was helpful! XOXO
All very good suggestions that would help a lot of people, unfortunately my widows peak is much more prominent and I don't think this would help me.
Very interesting! I like how you part on the left working with your widow's peak. I have a low hairline in back...I guess the only thing to do is buzz/shave it. Oh, and good morning to you!
Thank you Robin! I guess I never considered the nape hairline.. I have to keep mine shaved too:-) XOXO
Wow! Great advice for those of you fortunate enough to have a widows peak! Good job, Taz!
Thanks Janean! I never dreamed my widows peak would be an asset when wearing wigs! 😘😘😘
Great ideas! Thanks Taz.

Love it! You get to keep your widows peak! I love them! I do not have one...but have a good friend that does! 🌹
🤗🤗🤗
Great tips, thank you!!
Thank you! 💞 Very helpful information!
I love the makeup technique but how would you modify it for dark hair/dark hair wigs?
So very helpful Taz! Thank you! Hope you are doing good. Stay safe!❤
Thank you my friend! Hope all is well your way! XOXO
You're hair looks so cute short, love it. It doesn't look thin at all.
Thank you! 😊
Your hair doesn’t look thin at all!!!
I have a low forehead. The video title included "low hairline" but I didn't see this covered in the video. Do you have another video on this topic?
When all this hype is over and things get back to normal, we all need to throw you a THANK YOU party Taz!💕
(Wouldn't that be fun everybody??)
I love a good party! Woot! 🎉💃🏻👱🏻♀️😎
Yes! I hope that I am invited to the party! We will have so much fun!
@@lisabulmer7913 Taz's entire audience would be invited. I really wish we could do that one day.
Yes It would be wonderful! 💕 Hope for a invite.

Fingers crossed Amy! It really helps me on that particular style.. I have to reapply each time I wear, but I am so good with that! 💖💖💖
What brand is the last wig the medium length wavy? I love that!!

Shaving it or bleaching/coloring it is only option for those:-) XOXO
Fantastic informative video as ever 😁
Thanks! 😀
How do you glue or gel down the lace do you just gel the lace over top of the widows peak hair ? Sorry I’m new buying my first wing but worried about the widows peak thanks
Most medical grade wigs have lace that is ready to wear right out of the box.. no trimming or gluing necessary XOXO
@@TAZSWIGCLOSET thanks ! 😊
I have a real prominent widows peak, I tried to shave it but it grows back and sticks out even after cutting a fringe lol.
My problem area is at the temples. What can I do?
Sherri Murray Yes, so do I .

I tweezed my widows peak because it was ugly, and it never grew back. Lace fronts look so much better without it.
Thanks for sharing!! XOXO

I absolutely hate mine. I never could get a bang to lay down. I start cutting it off as I got older lol.
Just wanted to say you’re very beautiful. I wish I could rock short hair as well as you do
