I know this is an older review. I just ordered fieldpiece's new SC640 based on your review on this meter(which is sadly retired). As always Steve thank you for your great channel and great content. Seems like a featured packed unit.

cool stuff rob i like the sc 76 also,, i like a clamp meter ,fluke makes some nice stuff also probley the best meter on the market fluke is i just wish they would be more hvac friendly when making there stuff.like fieldpiece is thanks for commenting@ watching rob

i wanted to put a vice in my truck ,,,sometime i need on on a job to hold something while i drill it out, type of thing,i have it on a pipe so i can rasie it or swivel it as needed.it works out great if i need it also have a 110 converta in truck so i can run power tools..ya the new meter rocks i am liking it ,glad you back commenting @ watching ,hope you dad is better man.family come first in my book also..

Hey Steven! Thanks for posting these great videos. You are an inspiration. Keep it up. I bought the SC56 about a year ago and I love it. The one thing that would make this meter perfect is a magnetic back so you can stick it to the cabinet while you are working, but otherwise it is a great meter.

i was not a fan of fieldpiece eather but i am liking this new meter ..its will be my new go to meter till something better comes along .. i am the type to change if there is something good comes along ..always quick to learn something new thanks for commenting@ watching gmguy

That's a nice meter. I have the sc76, fluke 116 and a fluke clamp. I also have that fluke leads pack with all the different claps and tips for testing. I works great. N

yes you can its the last setting on the right thats what you would use to test flame sencers on a gas furnace .milli amps. milli volts are used to test thermocouples @ power pill generators ..thanks for commenting @ watching juan

par for the coarse with test equipment,i go throw the same stuff some will work for you some will not all you can do is try them out and the cream always rises to the top..thats why its good to do reviews on stuff

That Amprobe meter is about the best money can buy for HVAC. it sucks it doesn’t do DC my, but that’s what my tiny Amprobe PM55 is for.

Hey Steven! How u been? I haven't been online in a bit cause my dad just had major surgery done and he is still in the hospital recovering.
Love your videos! At first, I thought u where in a building on a workbench Lol... but it's your truck!!! Damn bro u got it made left and right Lol!!! It's must feel good jumping in and clamping some black pipe and cutting it up quick without leaving the work place or doing it in someone's house. About that new multimeter, great buy for that purpose there.

wow 2 under warrenty thats sucks .sounds like a problem with them i am supprices seeing its a fluke .. i like fluke just kinda big fro me to lug around i with they would be more hvac friendly and they would have the market i am sure nothing is better than a fluke in my oppion but we need something that we can have in our service bag ect that will do the job completly ect and is small enough so we have room for other things ... thanks for commenting@ watching gmguy

I still have an HS 26 after almost 33 years in Industrial Electrics and electronic it never let me down. It still works great. What I dislike about the newer ones is the carrying case. The old cases which were black had many little zip up and Velcro compartments for carry a few odds and ends so you didn't have to drag around boxes or run to your vehicle if you dropped or lost a cap or connector or just carried spare fuses. Bring back the multi-pocketed bsg.

i was suprices the amprobe nav 51 won't test millivolts dc i tryed like 4 times and no go ...thats a problem for me ..i test thermocouples,and powerpiles alot in the wintermounts thanks for commenting@ watching rob

Im not a fan of fieldpiece but I do like the volt amp dual read and the swivel feature. Nice to see they are using true rms.

No problem. Im looking for new meter has well. Had a fluke 902 at last job. I liked it but went through 2 of them under warranty. I am a fluke 87v which are great fir frequency drive troubleshooting. But i did like function of 902.
