    I'm lactose intolerant and for some reason I can only digest the NON-homogenized Grassmilk (with the cream on top). That or raw milk. If I go homogenized, I experience the full spectrum of digestion issues.

      I know people who experience this exact same issue as you do. I watched a video explaining why and what I gathered was that the brute force of homogenisation can make proteins unrecognisable to our bodies.

      It's because the fat molecules have been squeezed to naturally small sizes that affect your gut in a strange way. It's just not natural and that's why there are digestion issues

    Homogenized milk is good for congestion of veins of your body, due to break up of the fat molecules, which creates a more congested circumstance in veins. So, homogenized is more devitalizing to ones body, it's more congestive. The nutritions is still there, but, the negatives are additional with homogenized milk. Homogenized milk is clearly promoting of erectile dysfunction. It's not the only thing causing erectile dysfunction, but it's a contributor, for those who consume homogenized milk products.

      Thanks for sharing your interest with us! At this time, we do not offer any liquid raw milk products. All of our liquid milk products are either pasteurized (HTST), ultra pasteurized (UP), or aseptic (UHT). We are not against the raw milk, but retail sale of raw milk is illegal in most states. Because we farm and distribute across the US, our cooperative cannot offer raw milk. To find more information about raw milk options in your area, check out this website: www.realmilk.com.

      As much as our pets would like the milk ;) the law of large numbers tells us that people would be getting sick from it on a regular basis. It's unfortunate but it's for the best to not sell it in grocery stores. I don't choose to drink it myself, I like the HTST Grassmilk.

      @@connorbnjgg67754 There are brands at Sprouts that offer raw milk. I don't believe they present a much higher risk of illness if it's quality milk, just doesn't have the same shelf life of pasteurized milk. My family and I have been drinking the raw milk brand for years now and haven't had any issues. And this is coming from someone who is normally lactose intolerant.

    I am concerned that with the addition of homogenization along with ultra-pasteurization the heat that is associated with these two processes will kill any bacteria, enzymes and nutrients naturally occurring in the milk. What milk do you offer that is as close as it can get to being raw whole milk?

    • @organicvalley
      @organicvalley  4 года назад +1

      Hi Mark! Thank you for reaching out. We offer regularly pasteurized milk products in additional to ultra pasteurized products, but all of our milk products are pasteurized. At this time we do not offer a non-homogenized milk option, but we will be sure to pass your feedback along to our team. Please feel free to reach out to us via our website: www.organicvalley.coop for assistance searching for our pasteurized milk products. Thanks!

    how fat percentage in dairy milk is standardised?Fat content varies from cow to cow so how is that when we buy it fat content is same for the same brand?What is the process?

    • @organicvalley
      @organicvalley  4 года назад +2

      Fat percentages are achieved through the following example. Lowfat milk is made by removing fat with centrifugal force until the correct level of butterfat is achieved. This is the standard process used to produce varying fat levels in milk. The remaining butterfat is used for making Organic Valley butters and creams.
