@@vegetatheveggie2547 i think they mean wanting to keep the server saved somewhere while its not running and boot it up again sometime in the future, which is also possible tho
@@thatchedrooves1204This is very unreasonable, to be honest. Telling a company to hold something for you while not paying for it is not an expected business move. What is reasonable and probably would be expected instead is to allow you to download a back up of the server before they kick it off their end as a courtesy, but still that’s not required.
Good overview of the various hosts, one thing that you mentioned is a bit off though. With a VPS you don't get your own hardware, you get your own Virtual Private Server, which means your on your own private server with x amount of resources, but you are actually sharing hardware. It is still a better option I'd say.
For a server this size, plus modpacks, you want to be looking at the most cost effective whilst still having good customer support. I'd recommend shockbyte's 10GB ram option that allows you 16+ slots and has a plugin installer.
I was really happy with the information you gave in the video. I decided to get a Hostinger server until I got to the payment! It may say it's £5.99 per month for a 24 month deal, but you have to pay all 24 months in one lump sum! That's out of the question for me. Very disappointing. Not saying it's your fault, but would have been nice to mention that what you see is not what you pay (i.e. pay £5.99 each month)
General tip for your audio: Your plosive sounds (especially p and b) are sometimes very disturbing, try a popscreen for best results or change something in your setup if you're already using one. Implementing a limiter in your audio editing might also help.
great video thank you. i have to disagree with you on apex though the view distance is really bad. i need more chunks than what they provide. it took me about 2 minuets of play before i called them back and canceled my order.
Sorry but if you're trying to host a 24/7 public server nodecraft is a terrible pick. If you have more than 15+ concurrent players the 2GB will be barely help you out. The lag will be insane and not enjoyable whatsoever.
I really have to disagree with you here, it was one of the cheapest prices I found and I loved them while I hosted with them, very good service and buying was actually super easy
I agree shockbyte is a terrible service, if you're one of the lucky few that actually get's their server turned on right away then good for you. But me and many many others have been waiting weeks for the server to even get TURNED ON imagine paying for a month of a service and they don't turn it on till half way thru the month. Don't get me started on their support, I'd rather talk to a rock, it would have a higher chance of giving me a response then they would...
They all seem bad to me I wish you could do a one time purchase for just one month and renew it instead of getting locked into a monthly plan
just turn off subscription and it doesnt renew its not that hard

then just host it yourself

Guys, follow me here, what is the best host to play modpacks? For example, ATM 10, with 10 to 15 friends on the server?

Hostinger supports 24/7 online server?
Hey, how do I come in contact with you?
These seem like a ripoff more than a good thing

You can change the chuck size in the server settings
i dont see vps option for minecraft in hostinger. can somebody help
I'd appreciate a pop filter being used in front of your mic, every single T or P applied unwanted bass in my ear, was kind of uncomfortable at times.

No hostinger add
well I took a look at Apex and they dont seem to have a Bedrock Minecraft server capability, its only for Java it seems
Yes, they have bedrock.
ShockByte is SUPER BAD! The control panel is very poor and ordering a server can be a hassle!

why would someone affiliate with multiple services then? to gain money on top of advertisement, he is just selling and sharing you options, fair deal.
