I think this is the same mayor who disallowed votes or some other crap. She passed some ordinance and said she didn't care, her vote is the only one that matters lol

She is being investigated by the FBI according to other news. But I agree. Heck, even knowingly hiring and bringing a (redacted) around schools she should be arrested for. It wasn't a little mistake either, the things her "guard" did would hit every YT filter.

Nobody will ever top the blatant, in your face corruption in Detroit with Mayor Kwame. In fact the more he got busted, the more voters he picked up. The only reason he didn't win his last election by a landslide is because he was sitting in federal prison, the state of Michigan was too corrupt to charge him.

She has no restraint whatsoever. It's all about her always. What's amazing is there are Trustees in Dolton, and Board members in the township, as well as employed staff who completely go along with her illegalities, and give her what she wants. Hopefully there's enough prison space to accommodate violations of the law by so many people.

If they don’t do what she wants, she locks them out of their offices and sends the police to generally harass them. I believe she has also hired some people with questionable background to ask as her enforcers. She gets more and more brzen, I can’t believe the Secretary of State or district attorney has not come after her, but I guess she is a democrat in Illinois, so above the law.

Dolton has a population of less than 23,000. Most towns that size, the mayor is a part time job that usually pays less than $30k a year. She was pulling down well over a quarter mill in salary and perks. How the hell did the people allow that to happen?

Dolton is a great example of what the late Rush Limbaugh called the "low information voter." They never pay attention to politics until a week before an election and then go and vote for the politician offering "free stuff" or they vote for the candidate the state run corporate media tells them to vote for.
If you look up the demographics and then look at who the board of trustees are comprised of, it will become clear what has happened in this town. It seems people have voted along racial lines. Just like the rest of Cook County Illinois. If you overlay the map that shows the demographics on top of who the voters voted for, you will see each district voted along racial demographics. Tim Pool did a report on it after the 2022 election.
