Love how Pom has her bunk bed above her desk just incase she needs her own space some nights 😂
Loft bed not “bunk bed above desk”
Me and Pom r twinning :3
Animal Crossing gives you the option to change your outfit via fridge because they know everyone wants to look like a snack.
Yas
I always change in my throwback rocket because my outfits are pretty out of this world
@@amandastarfan oooh that's so good! You got pun from here to infinity (and beyond!)
I just use my mermaid closet, because I'm a closet mermaid. :P
I cackled
Love this 🤣✨❤️
*talking about being able to change in the refrigerator*
Amanda: this should have never been a thing animal crossing.
Also Amanda: *exclusively changes in the fridge*
EXACTLYYYY I like to blame my issues on others. Like why am I hung over??? 😡😡😡Wine never should’ve been invented.
@@theamandafiles wine solves almost everythingggg
Note: *almost*
I wish we could just store food and drinks in it. Man if only there was a cooking feature XD
oh god amanda started describing the 'outlaw's outfit and i knew immediately knew where it was going lmaoooo😭😭😭
the outlaw: hey young child get me outta here
7 year old amanda: anything for you 😏
7 year old amanda's parents: no !! amanda he's the bad guy !! D:
7 year old amanda: no but i think i could change him 😏
"No, I'm a fruit bat"
- Amanda , 2020
Amanda: pompom has no bed
Pompom: literally sitting at her bed
I love it
"Amanda talks about her childhood while occasionally talking to the villagers" the show ❤️ and I love it
sorry but im definitely gonna use the valentine man for my future kids lol that concept is just so cute and precious
BIG SAME
honestly doing something the whole family can do for valentines day sounds amazing
Same! It sounds so cute and fun for the kids.
SAMEEE
Absolutely same
"POMPOM WHERE IS YOUR BED"
*literally right above her*
Baby Amanda: * sees outlaw *
Baby Amanda: “I hope this doesn’t awaken anything in me 😀”
3:13 “oh! hey!”
“i think he’s got a crush on me”
u really jumped an entire hurdle to that conclusion girl
Oh my god. About the outlaw "I think I can change him"
Stop lmao that's so relatable
Hearing about your childhood with your parents made me so happy! My parents separated when I was 1 year old. I wish I could have those kind of memories too, but I have different ones I guess! Thank you for sharing though, it really warms my heart.
Love the mean girls shot at the end lol also marina is karen, ankha is gretchen and pom is regina
THISSSS
Soooo true
If you send Kyle a Double sofa and a bed (ironwood bed size or similar) by dodo mail on the same day, in two days, he'll rearrange the sofa under the window and replace the cardboard bed for the one you got him
OMGGG 🥺🥺🥺🥺 I’m gonna try this
these hour-long animal crossing vids are the only thing keeping me sane 😌
Ngl, I cried a little listening to you talk about your grandpa. My grandpa was the same way, he’d always play little games with me and my siblings. He passed away years ago, so sometimes it hurts hearing other people talk about their grandparents. But it was really sweet the way you talked about him. Since he died I usually try not to think about him, even the good memories. Thanks for reminding me of the good times.❤️
Im from southern NH and you are speaking to my childhood right now.
same here
Lol I started a new stardew valley farm just to date sebby HE HAS A MOTORCYCLE
🥵🥴🥵🥴🥵🥴
Hahahah why start a new island when you have a rabbits foot and can have them all mwahhahahaha
@@theamandafiles Get to four hearts with him and you get to see it. Lol sry to spoil it
I bought stardew valley 2 days ago because of amanda and I’ve put 10+ hours in already and honestly all I can say is OOPS
I have marina and zucker on my island, and I took them to photopia to sake some pictures of them on different dates. When zucker asked marina what it would be like to be a butterfly, she said he could stay with her.
The Watts case is insane; it’s my hometown murder and the house sits completely dark at night now. It’s the creepiest thing ever especially after all the ghost stuff
OMG you’re from Frederick?? That’s INSANE. With the amount the entire world talks/thinks about it I can’t even imagine how much it has impacted your community
@@theamandafiles it’s crazy because the running joke i’ve heard my whole life is about how easy it would be to hide a body in all of the fields around Frederick. Colorado is just scary in general because there’s so many miles of open space and national parks :( it’s crazy how many people go missing here
I sprinted up my stairs to watch this absolute gold
Not Amanda trying to help the outlaw escape ☠️ ... honestly same
Damn, Ariana Grande was silent after that Lion King cover
being a child looking at a bad guy cowboy in a jailcell and saying "i think i could change him"... listen i already relate to a lot of the things you talk about but listen LISTEN
I’m from Massachusetts and I know all those amusement parks- we were a Canobie Lake Park family BUT only because my aunt lived in New Hampshire so we would go one of our “days” there - never went to Disney either- my mom used to tell me and my brothers to smile - our braces were our Disney trip 🤣😂
girl pom pom has a bed it's a desk bunk bed
"THE LEAST HE CAN DO FOR ME IS SHAKE MY HAND" LMFAO
oh my gosh you're the spitting image of your mom! omg i was so shocked when you showed the family pictures
amanda....are you talking about caniobe lake?? 9:13???? I LOVE CANIOBE LAKE SM
edit : nvm she didnt mention caniobe. i think i was the only kid in my elementary school who didnt go to storyland lmao
edit pt.2 : SHE MENTIONED IT. SHE MENTIONED CANIOBE. THAT PARK IS MY SHIT I LOVE IT SM
Mayor Mori has a video on how to make the perfect snowboy every time, and I've only made perfect ones after watching, so I'd definitely suggest that video
@2:08
“Omg Pom Pom doesn’t have a bed” - literally standing right in front of the loft bed 🤣
We had a Santa’s Village near my hometown! My sister used to work there.
apparently in the 40s and 50s it was a big thing to make santa claus theme parks, defunctland made a whole video on it
Wow, what you said about poverty really hit me. I grew up in poverty (I still kinda am), my parents are independent artists and now I am too. We live in Mexico and it's a hard life, but I too had a beautiful childhood and I wouldn't have it any other way. 💖 Thank you for speaking about your experience!
I think my brain exploded when you mentioned Story Land - I"VE BEEN THERE! Used to visit my grandparents and they took me once. I remember it being really fun and liking that everything was smaller scale than the biger rides and buildings at other places. Made it feel accessible.
16:40 Pompom Ankha someone come help your girl a man has literally been on this island for 5 seconds and said one nice thing and she’s in love again
As someone who grew up in New England, hearing a youtuber acknowledge all these places I grew up with is a BLESSING. Someone knows we exist out here lol I loved experiencing childhood in the mountains, lakes, and small town vibes of New Hampshire!
OH MY GOD I LOST IT WHEN YOU STARTED TALKING ABOUT STORYLAND AND SANTA'S VILLAGE! That brings back SOOO many memories where my family and I used to go to New Hampshire every year when I was little to visit one or both of them! Thanks so much for the nostalgia blast lol
I’ve literally been rewatching all your animal crossing vids this past week I’m so glad you uploaded again 🐸
I've had a really rough couple of months and I want you to know that your videos have literally helped me through it all. They've given me pure joy when I thought I was way too sad to be happy about anything. I don't think you realize how precious you are and how easily you push back the darkness for so many people. I hope you never change and continue to touch people with your videos.
Cleaning my house to Amanda's voice on Christmas Eve. This is honestly therapeutic.
OMG Marina in the tulip hat and the green sweater! PERFECTION!
As soon as you brought up the office I was like, I bet she’s talking about Scott’s tots. I still cringe just thinking about that episode, I still can’t 😅
There's a Reddit group dedicated to cringe at Scott's tots and I love it
AMANDA the Mel Gibson story absolutely MURDERED ME
Amanda totally ignoring the bunkbed/desk combination at 2:25 is a mood
Oh my goodness when you mentioned making a video about caecilians my brain EXPLODED. I would LOVE to see a little series from you just talking about different animals, educating us and just telling us fun facts! I think it would be incredible for someone with as much knowledge as you to give us some fun little videos about obscure animals 💞
Awww kyle and you In santa outfits while rooney is side eyeing kyle 😅
that mel gibson story is iconic i was laughing so hard. love your dad
Im from MA too. I loved story land as a kid ❤ i got a glittery wand with my name on it. I still have it and I'm 23. My middle school field trips were to canobie lake. Amazing memories
One good snowboy tutorial is to roll both snowballs to full size, then make a path 10 paces long. Roll one ball along the path, that way it'll shrink to the right size for the head. Using an iron fence as a height reference is good too!
I love that the theme song to Shiveria from Super Mario Odyssey was playing in the beginning of the video. I’m also from Massachusetts and I remember going to Canobie Lake Park, Paragon Park, and other places as a kid and I had so much fun with my family. Those were the times. If I couldn’t get a perfect Snowboy, I would close out the game before it saved and try again. I felt that it’s a waste of time having imperfect Snowboys because I couldn’t get any large snowflakes from them and they would take up space. So, I would have a few perfect Snowboys and get large snowflakes after talking to them daily. I finally all of the DIYs. What a chore! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
OMG I went to Story Land too!!! I have a hoodie from there. I love it!!
As someone who grew up in MA also.. story land and santa village just brought back so many memories
30:00 ....as a parent I needed to hear that this year...thank you❤️
watching you talk about these amusement parks Ive grown up with brings a smile to my face
i also have both zucker & marina and theyre totally in a relationship i swear
omg your childhood sounds so wholesome 🥺
growing up, my parents were rlly poor as well, we lived with my grandparents in a super tiny house where the heating didn’t work half the time. my grandparents were to old to work, so they couldn’t rlly do anything, so my parents spent a LOT of time working (normally left at 6, came home at 9). i never really has a good relationship with my grandad because neither of us were good at socialising, so i was practically raised by my grandma. when i was 9 she died of leukaemia because she was to busy raising me and my brothers to go to the hospital so i was kinda stuck raising my brother, until my other brother was born and my dad managed to get a better job and my mum stopped working to raise my youngest brother. but anyways i still don’t have a good relationship with my parents because as i said i don’t know how to talk to people. my cousins are the BEST people though. there’s kinda an age gap (i’m 16, they’re 13 and 14) and the brother i half raised is part of our group as well. we meet up ALL the time (half the time without our parents permission), we always cycle down some probably dangerous roads and meet at some random park for a few hours and we put together our coins to buy snacks and just do dumb stuff but it is honestly the best thing. we haven’t done it in a while because covid but we are all meeting up for christmas and i actually cannot wait we are going to my cousins house and she has a pool and i already know we are gonna do some dumb stuff (last time we had a competition who can stay at the bottom of the pool for the longest).
anyways things are a bit better now we have enough money to buy luxuries and go on holiday once a year and we have cats because we can afford to give them a good life now (they’re the BEST).
sorry this kinda started rambling lmao if you read this far hi
As someone who had a crappy childhood, I really loved hearing how much you enjoyed yours ❤️ This channel is what I listen to while I play ACNH.
Also your impression of your dad made me laugh so hard! He sounds like a fun guy.

OMFGGGG HAHAHAHA WHY AM I SO DUMB
@@theamandafiles skcjwkfhebdnw it happens 😂
I don't even know your dad and I already love him
the part with your grandparents in the woods made me so happy to listen to 🥺🥺
Anyone remember going to Clark's trading post in Lincoln NH?
OMFGGG WE WENT THERE TOO!!!! Me and my brother always die laughing about the cursed memories we have of the fucking wolfman chasing you on the motorcycle I’m screaming omfnfjfhhfhsbs
Omg yeeeees!!!!
Omgggg we used to go there when we visited my family in New Hampshire. The Wolf man made my brother cry and hide under the seats on the train. That place started my obsession with player pianos and band machines.
WAS THAT THE ONE WITH THE BEARS

omggg I’m so proud of you :)))) well done on your A :)))
Nice job! ❤
Good Job!!
I live in San Francisco and my students love the academy of science. They go on a field trip every year and it's different every year! It's only a short walk from our school and it's such an amazing place. I think you would also really love the exploratorium (fisherman's wharf) as well!
13:31 this was honestly so beautiful, I’m crying in the club rn
I LOVED Storyland, Santa’s Village and Canobie Lake. I grew up in Maine and we also had Funtown. I remember my first trip to Six Flags when I was a teenager we did that thing where if you brought a can of Coke and you got like 50% off
Fully was sitting and wondering if you had any new videos, and here you are posting 14 minutes ago. MANIFESTING. You brighten my day amanda!
omg i've been binge-watching your videos and just saw this pop up, can't wait to watch!! you're always so funny and interesting 🥺
GIRL. Storyland and Santa's Village were MY LIFEE (from Maine not Mass)... I only realize now how sketchy it was
i'm from ri and same here, i watched videos of them recently, santa's village is in very good shape and looks very nice, storyland however... still looks sketchy [and horrifying]
OH MY GOD STORY LAND AND SANTA'S VILLAGE!!! I used to go there at the end of summer too! there were also trained bears, which is really sad thinking about it now. But Gahd damn those bears were talented.
I have sooo many memories from canopy lake park I though no one else knew about it!
I've never heard of 6-gun City, but my family always went to either Storyland or Santa's Village. We took my nephews to Santa's Village last year in the summer, and it was so fun. They loved it. The year before that, we took them to Storyland. They loved those like old antique cars that you drive around, even though they couldn't reach the petals. We're from Maine, so it's always a bit of a trip, but they always love it. And, I think they have this thing where if you go after six at night and buy tickets, you can go in the next day. I remember one year, my parents took my brother and I to Santa's Village in the winter (it was our Christmas gift for that year), and like half the rides were closed because I think in the winter they're only open for December, but the lights were gorgeous. I was like 8 so I was just cold and tired, but my parents took so many pictures
six gun city closed down, i only remember ever going to it once or twice but it was really cool, i remember more about storyland and santa's village since we went there every single year from when i was 2-8
I seriously loved your story. Hope you share more it feels so nostalgic. I remember so many small moments. Even though i wouldn't say i had a "great" childhood, but i had what i needed and some. 😇 Thanks girl, keep making us laugg and cry and spit that sass!
I get so happy when I see you’ve uploaded, you might not think it means much but honestly it’s like an hour of time where I can just chill out and laugh and forget everything and enjoy your stories and forget about the real world for a bit 😭🥺💓
The Sophie Lancaster case is one I will never shake. Also hearing your love and appreciation for the movie Signs made me so happy!
Amanda! I feel like we had the exact same childhood! by the way, I've been binge watching your videos the past week, you're literally my spirit animal! I wish we were BESTFRIENDS!
Amanda, your uploads are the highlight of my days. This period of life is so difficult but you never fail to cheer me up, so thank you 💛
Hahaha! I'm not from New Hampshire but I have had the chance to go to all of those theme parks that you mentioned. I remember one time in Six Gun City, I seen one of those town square yeehaw show downs. They were calling eachother all kinds of things "Nice boots, jerk!". What a riot. Good memories hahaha.
stopped being able to breathe from laughing so hard at your childhood stories. Sounds so familiar to mine. We had a ballin dinosaurland lol
Feel so many of your stories though, I remember my mom made me the best pebbles (from flintstones) costume and the best winnie the pooh costume. My parents divorced when i was a baby though so it was mostly just me and my older brothers and mom, but you're right. We were all so much closer than other siblings it felt like.
NEW ENGLAND GANG RISE UPP 🥱 any of yall remember that ONE egg store youd pass by when you entered Vermont? If you know you know.
HAHAHAHAHEVWJWVDVDRGEVSHSVEHD YES
Oof your childhood stories were making me all nostalgic & emotional... You’re the best story teller, thank-you for your words ☺️

I love how honest you are about family life and all. Feels like we really are real-life friends. :)
So I’ve been sick with COVID this past week and your videos have been a treasure to watch and enjoy while I’m in lockdown. Please keep us updated with the island drama and have a good day :)

i had my first day at a new job today and amanda’s videos never fail to make me smile and take my anxiety away!! except the true crime part my anxiety was thru the roof
The only creator I actually verbalize anything for when I get the alert.
I SWEAR TO GOD I’ve been to both amusement parks you’re talking about. Scared to death of the shootout to the point to where my Dad came to get me out of the kiddie participation crowd. Storybook place was also amazing and no one in Orlando where I live now ever can appreciate what I’m talking about.
LOVE THE MEAN GIRLS FORMATION AT THE END!! So cute and hilarious

Every time Amanda brings up about her events in her childhood and growing adult life in these videos, it brings me joy. Every time Amanda brings up her animal facts, I learn something cool.
Amanda is good entertainer who somehow has drama on her island.
Also, the theme parks you mentioned were 30 mins away from where I lived (Bretton Woods, NH) and its always busy during the summer.
I completely forgot story land but now I remember everything
Omg I remember canonbie lake park that haunted house scared the shit out of me
Lol the story about the museum and your dad was hilarious 😂 thanks for sharing it!
