Funny thing about Siphonophores is that we actually dont know if they should be classfied as a single organism or a colony. They are a weird in between, where it is made of individual clones yet they are highly specialized like organs but you could remove one from the colony and it wouldnt die right away but it would eventually die due to the specialization... They have traits of both colonies and a whole organism.
The Lord's beautiful marine beauties. I love this heavenly background music. Sometimes I feel sad to know that mankind doesn't value nature neither the environment the planet on a whole so these beauties can thrive 😭😭😭😭🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹i wish these beauties had a space to thrive without human interference 😭😭😭🇹🇹🇹🇹😭🇹🇹such an educational and informative video. You all should publish an encyclopedia of these marine beauties for generations to come 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
Can you post the clip from back in June of one fish catching another fish and then a third fish also wanting to eat it and then the little fish escapes them both? Or the fish staring at a seastar while the seastar tried eating an anemone?
This was such fantastic footage. I still want to know what's up with that squid that had what looked like a siphonophore floaty on top of it. So crazy.
Please as a future expedition go to central Philippines (Cebu/Mactan, Bohol/Panglao, Camotes islands and Balut/Sarangani Islands.) There are deep water invertebrate species (mollusks, echinoderms, glass sponges etc.) that are unknown in their natural habitats only from fishermen bringing them up with dredges and tangle nets. The depths are relatively shallow between 200 and 1000 feet. If I had the finances for an expedition that's where I would go.
Agree music is too loud. Younger ears do not realize what it’s like with older ears trying to distinguish words with ambient sound. Please tone the music down in the future- love the content, don’t ruin it for us.
not even an age thing, many many people, myself included, have a hard time processing audio when there's multiple signals coming in like this. I'm 24 and this is borderline unwatchable because I cannot focus on the speech with the music going. it's a shame, I was looking forward to this
Loud background music. I am literally unable to understand the running comment! Indeed it makes it a pain to watch! You can compare the effect with trying to talk to someone over the phone on a loud street crossing, while someone is yelling into your other ear. A suggestion: I understand that the music is intended to create an experience enhancing atmosphere. I observe on myself, that in videos which use videos only to introduce parts or emphasise highlights, paragraphs, etc., I maintain this atmosphere in the passages without or significantly reduced volume.
Your content is infinitely interesting, informative, and educational. Thank you so much!
Thanks for putting the names of these deep sea beauties 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
Love your channel! To be able to see a part of our planet that is so unknown is amazing.

Großartig, fantastisch, wunderschön, was für ein schöner Planet ❤-liches Dankeschön aus Österreich
Thank you for the lovely video! I am off to go research how siphonophores reproduce.

Wonderful! ❤
I LOVE biology ❤❤
How deep were the stingrays?
Always love the comments, educational and humor! But ya'll have an interesting bracelet style! 😂
The drifter coming in at 13:12 I believe is a deep staria. Does it have a hitchhiker isopod?

Getting caught out with barnacles on your carapace 😂 couldnt be me 💀

god we serve to create so many wonders of the sea.
how do i achieve this job?
Жизнь на границе возможного очень хрупка и зависима от случая.
I wonder if the digestion specialists get mad at the propulsion specialists, if there isnt much food around.
😊😊😊😊😊😊
This is really awesome seeing under the ocean and looking at
all of the great marine life there thank you.🫧🐟🐠🐙🪼🫧

Background music needs to be reduced or removed.😊

They don't have loud music here, lol, even from the phone I can hear their voices clearly.
I too am frustrated by the music. Some people have less hearing than others. Please turn the music down or off.
For non-native english speaker loud music can make it hard to understand what they are saying
i actually use this to fall asleep so i love the louder music... while you hate this i love this 😊
When are yall going to have @zefrank on? I need him making comments with you guys PLEASE GET ZEFRANK
