    I would love to see ya in person sometime! You live about 6 miles from me and I played some with caleb some years back, and I would just love to sit with ya and talk guitar and hear ya play! Please just let me know when you are playing around town again! You inspire me so much and I know my grandpa is in heaven honey tonk dancing to your amazing music!

    Oh yeah, and thanks for the rehearsal version included! I such fond memories of Gibson. Dad's L7, his 1927 mandolin, uncle's Gibson 1955 acoustic. That is one beautiful guitar, and you made it sing!

    Your "Grace for Leila" is wonderful! One of my favorites right up there with Martha's Kitchen, and a few others I especially enjoy. I love slack key style and am trying to learn to play it with my Baritone Ukulele (may do so with my concert Uke too). I think you ought to work a deal and keep that little Gibson. Sounds great! Was the last song "Birmingham Steel"? I think so but it is a different arrangement and you did not do the bender on the headstock (not your guitar and it is an antique so I can see why).

    Great picking Doyle as always. That old vintage Gibson and it’s body size projects really well and even in the midrange. I’d personally hang on to that one my friend.

    What open tuning was that? Very effective when you dropped it to the minor. I occasionally use open tunings for slide.
