Is it necessary to seal the inside (shower side) of the glass w/silicon ? I am experiencing moldy color in between silicone and glass shower. What to do please.
Maybe you can take a picture of your problem and take it up to the big box store possibly they make some kind of rubber seal guard that can go over the hinges so the water doesn’t penetrate it. It’s hard to fix your problem without seeing it.

what were the touch ups you were doing? and what were the spacers for? also, do you give time for the exterior to set before doing interior, or better to do right away? wish you would've covered the details!
This was a shower installed if you saw spacers it’s because I was waiting for the tiles to dry so I can grout them but I didn’t talk about that because that’s not what this video was about but I’m sure if you search how to build a shower bye Kooper Salmo on RUclips you’ll find many videos on how to do that
Soap and water is the secret? I've been trying the same technique for years using mineral spirits (which is what the manufacturer recommends for clean up) and never had very good success. Clients didn't seem to notice, but it always bugged me. . . . Also, loved the kid sounds in the background - happy noises
Should you caulk the underside of the shower valve cover? Wouldn’t you want that uncaulked in the event water does find its way behind there it can easily drain?
You didn't clean the excess from the sides of the caulk bead. You have to lift your finger off from time to time to keep the excess from building up. That excess will be prone to peeling off and allowing moisture to get stuck in there which allows mold to grow. When you try to clean that out it can pull the primary part of the bead with it. Long story short, you pulled your finger along the beads too quickly. You want the product in between the gap only.
Very comprehensive and informative, well, what I could hear anyway. The incredibly jarring ambient noise (kids) completely undermines what were solid production values. Clearly you put a lot of work into it. Why not close the bathroom doors, tell the kids you're doing something important/be polite and really sell the video harder still?

Didn’t they slope the shower curb so if water lands there in drains back into the shower
