    I've no idea why this appeared in my feed, but this was the Watford I grew up in and it brought a tear to my eye remembering how it used to be.

      @@keithwilson6782 Well it's not as lush and lovely as it was in those days. The paddling pool and small kiosks have been replaced by a huge monstrostity designed by some modernist 'architect' and it looks hideous. The car park has been doubled and now eats into the fields. It's very busy as many people from surrpnding areas come and leave masses of litter. Such a shame. Also the grassy areas are very worn due to high traffc and years of fun fair and firework nights.

    The park has not changed so very much in thirty years - though camera technology has!
    Notwithstanding that, nice video, thank you.

    @MrGeorgekirk I've just watched your film of cycling around Watford.....Fascinating stuff! When you said youve watched all my videos, do you just mean the watford ones or have you Heard Willy Wilsons twangsters aswell!? Alot of your video I didnt recognize...Did the film end up somewhere near Radlett road? If you've got any more of Cassiobury park and the golf course..a bit SLOWER! Yes please...I plan to put up more vids if my knackered VCR can cope!

  • @MrGeorgekirk
    @MrGeorgekirk 14 лет назад

    a bit slower:) haha
    no worries ive just bought the atc9k action cam for the bike.
    i'm trying out all the different setting at the moment.
    but my vids will be smoother and less jumpy from now on as the little cam i used in the video was not really up to the job.
    and yes your right , Radlett road is correct.
    thanks for watching it

    Nothings changed except the cars, i recognise a few people in this video, they're just middle aged now which really isn't a big change..

    The film is lovely & I esp like the moving music that accompanies it.You can see even 30 odd years ago, life was slower ppl are looking up & not down at their mobiles!😉Can't see any McDonalds rubbish either,even then ppl respected their environment. How the world has changed.Spread the word ppl please. Take yr rubbish home & look after our planet by switching off yr car engines when not in motion.A bit unrelated I know,but hope you get my gist. Thankyou vry much again.

    @MrGeorgekirk .......and if you used to live on a boat on the canal around the gade bank area, a vid of that part and that end of the golf course would be very much appreciatted!.....I've just put a couple of new clips of Croxley green views 1988 up on youtube, hope they play ok!
