2:37 Ehh… I have a few criticisms for that one 1: His nose helps his design feel more iconic, and recognizable. Since the main Character Rocko has a nose, it wouldn’t be too out there for SpongeBob to have his nose too. 2: The slouched back is directly opposed to his fundamentally energetic personality. It’s supposed to be the opposite of Squidward who usually does have a slouched back. The Hey Arnold one looks better because he’s not in his natural position. In these specific circumstances it’s ok to tweak a few things because he looks like more like an Easter egg character that resembles SpongeBob, and less like if the actual SpongeBob was traveling to another world. The rest are improvements though

Ok how come I’m JUST now finding your channel!! Your interpretations of SpongeBob in all the different styles have such a well considered intrinsic design sense. The rocko one just feels so…right. Tho it would probably be a different vibe than original SpongeBob.
I just discovered this channel today and your choice of theming, and the fact that most of the videos I've seen so far are all in 4:3 ratio is incredibly inspiring to me! You're also very talented, and we're able to nail every single style here. Keep up the good work my guy!! :D

7:49 im going to take a screenshot and send it to my friend at 1am
2:37 Ehh… I have a few criticisms for that one
1: His nose helps his design feel more iconic, and recognizable.
Hey people that don't draw hands, you have a reference right in front of yourself at all times, use em. Unless you don't have hands, in which case buy one of those poseable hand models.
If you don't have hands, do you simply draw with your toes ala schneider?
Using my hands as reference is how all my drawings of women end up with bony man hands
@@KosteonLink
Just say you're drawing trans girls and call it a day ❤🤣
@@BBWahoo 🤤
Great grapefruits! You did it. I love "The Loud House" version you did.
I want Harry to start a series where he sneaks into cartoon animation studios and sees how long he can stay there blending in with the animators.
I need a sequel. A sequel where it's in reverse. All of these characters in SpongeBob's style.
The human characters would be very cursed •_ •
@@just_an_internet_explorer8038 Well thanks to characters like Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, they don't have to be drawn as fish.
@@just_an_internet_explorer8038he will make it work. he managed to put a cleaning product in multiple shows about normal looking humans.
This is the first video I saw of your channel, and dear lord, you caught all my interest! You probably have already heard this many times, but the editing, style, comedy, personality and art is SO unique and on point, and when I saw how astronomically low your views are in your other videos, with THIS quality, I was shocked. Please keep it up with the amazing content, and have a fantastic day! Your art is incredible, and I aspire to have the control and versatility that you have while drawing.
Mr Gold, I just want to say that your work is amazing and you are criminally underrated. Thank you for existing and continuing!
the crazy thing is there there already was a fairly oddparents style drawing of spongebob, back in an old nick magazine issue in like, 2006. it was for promoting the third jimmy-timmy power hour. and it looked way better than the one nickelodeon posted on their social media, that’s for sure…
This video is honestly one of my favorites
Bro seriously made a better Spongebob in the Fairly Oddparents style than Butch Hartman himself lol.
YES! They deserved the roast, and the artstyle correction! Your critique is invaluable in this department!
Im incredibly impressed with how you did with Atla. Like if you showed me that id be able ro tell what it was truimg to do and thats impressive to me for this challenge. Hats off to you!
Your redesigns are so amazing!!! I love SB in Rocko’s style!
Its just so funny/tragic for me that Nickelodeon, of all companies, cheaped out on getting an artist that could recreate the artstyles of different Nickelodeon cartoons. Just tell any artist that have worked on those shows to quickly doodle a spongebob on their show artstyles.
As always, great video and nice F-zero soundbite!
I actually really like your design for SpongeBob in the 1987 TMNT style. It makes me want to see what SpongeBob would look like in other TMNT incarnations.
6:20 first time i see spongebob buffed and pissed and actually looking like its itself without looking FUCKING GOOFY WITH GIANT ARMS
1:12 I love how he added Roy here.
The Roy from DHMIS
Commenting for the algorithm so this great beast of a video gets shown to more people.
"Animators were really hot and bothered for overbites back then, weren't they." Actually, it's just the one production company responsible for those 3 shows you showcased (well the first 3 seasons and original shorts for The Simpsons anyway), ClaskyCsupo. It's just their weird signature style.
Ok how come I’m JUST now finding your channel!! Your interpretations of SpongeBob in all the different styles have such a well considered intrinsic design sense. The rocko one just feels so…right. Tho it would probably be a different vibe than original SpongeBob.
this is REALLY good
id love to see you do more nicktoons in other styles redraws
I just discovered this channel today and your choice of theming, and the fact that most of the videos I've seen so far are all in 4:3 ratio is incredibly inspiring to me! You're also very talented, and we're able to nail every single style here. Keep up the good work my guy!! :D
One of my favorite things about those drawings is how he made some of them blurry to look like actual frames from the shows themselves
Every time you pop into my recommendeds, I have a ball. Your writing, narration and delivery is always just mint, your videos are straightforward and to the point, easy on the ears, and the eyes. Always a pleasure.
IT’S JOHN LITHGOW! Also bravo for the F-Zero GX reference at 5:38 You’ve earned a sub.
I am contractually obligated not to comment on your caricature guess, but I can tell you that you've got boost power.
Great content, i’ve been following you for a year now and i can’t believe how underrated your channel is, you deserve more than a million subs.
Funny thing about TLH one you did is you gave Spongebob eyelashes which in TLH universe is only a female characteristic, so you got points docked in faithfulness in that one. Other than that excellent job on balling out with these designs of yours. 👏
Love the aesthetic of this channel, and how it's an art channel. How is this not have at least 1 mil subs?
