Love our 2022 20 ft Bambi because the kitchen and bath are away from the seething and sleeping areas. Great kitchen. Had Ultimate Airstream make some changes. Was going to change window blinds but found that louvered blinds allow you to see out and give light but preserve privacy. After looking at box trailers, the quality of the AS is definitely worth the cost.
The 20FB flying cloud was so so so much nicer years ago than that "cheap made" bambi. From the windows you can no longer fully open, the cheap 2 burners stove, the crap microwave, the plastic overlockers the list does go on ...Not talking that the price increased (of course for less ). To me the 20FB and 26U flying cloud were so much nicer. Gosh I missed the 26U bathroom !!
As a Real estate investor, I know for a fact you can buy a three bedroom, two bath, fridge, oven, dishwasher, AC, and electric furnace 16x80 mobile home from Clayton for $70,000 price point. So consumers can see how overpriced Airstreams truly are. Make it make sense!!
These aren’t typically designed or marketed to people looking for full-time living. I can also by a Timex watch or Rolex… it’s all based on value to the consumer. For Airstream, like many brands, you’re paying for the name, and they’ve earned that right.

The problem with that is that RV parks, which are cheaper then mobile home parks won't accept the mobile home.
