      So im not sure how it works...if i understand well the hawk eye here is only used for enrertainment purpose and never used or they repeared the point after the challenge?

      @@nelsond5361 that's when the mental part of being an athlete comes into play, For example, Nicky Kyrgios would have just complained, tilted himself, then lost the match right there. Fils says, I don't care, I'm 1v9ing this.

      He can. But not sure he will. If he can tone down on errors and be more offensive and a bit more consistency and extreme netskills he has and come in on mainly his forehand like inside out or serve and volley too plus keep working back his backhand.. keep the same team this time? If it Works i think he cant afford being so indecisive anymore. He shall break lose, find his rythm and utilize his firepower and stunning volleys way better. If so, he Will be future slam champion maybe

    • @malekat8539
      @malekat8539 2 месяца назад +1

      @@JulianHansen-l1q
      Being more aggressive means being less consistent. Your logic doesn't correlate here.
      For me personally, he simply needs to play as he did 2022 - 1st half of 2023, which was playing more defensive tennis/counter punching, but then he deals with stamina/cramping issues which lead to this more aggressive playstyle in 2024 which reduces his stamina loss, but sacrifices consistency.
      I also agree that he needs to use his BH more as for me. It's one of the best on tour when it's on form. I also agree with you and him being poor with shot selection at times. That's due to not having a solid team around, which leads into the other fix, and that's finding a good team and sticking with them. He had Luthi, and Boris all together at one point, but fired each one. Unless he's doing what Sinner did at the start of 2023, he'll need a solid team.
      All in all, he's definitely has the tools to become world Number 1 (and that's no an exaggeration), but needs to fix some holes.

  • @JulianHansen-l1q
    @JulianHansen-l1q 2 месяца назад +3

    Its like anything Rune did, Arthur did everything a lil bit better. Not much, but enough. Fils serve, overhead and forehand and physique and stamima also mentally will be as likely why he could be future big 3 along Carlos and Sinner as if Holger will be one of big 3 imo.
    Rune though. Has an extra level than Fils imo. When not getting too short in the court mainly from the backhand.. Rune should get there. But not sure when or IF he will reach that true God mode level? Fils was good but not God mode. God mode Sinner, God mode big 3 and god mode Alcaraz would won an atp 500 rather easily with this draw

    • @bobbyearles4230
      @bobbyearles4230 2 месяца назад +3

      I think I agree with this. Fils is an incredible player, but when Rune is on, he's basically unplayable. He has almost unlimited power, and his return game is nearly Djokovic-like. When he's on, he gives me young Andre Agassi vibes. But it seems like he can't really harness his game these days the way he did a year ago. On the other hand, Fils does nothing but win. He's improved his serve a lot since last year. And he's an all-court player. I think he's top 10 material.

    • @twittertwice

      Rune was a homophobe who used slurs and was beyond rude to people. He scream at his mother before the whole stadium until she left… he has emotional problems… when George was his coach, he began smiling and being nicer to opponents…I think he has skill, but not the temperament…Fils mayb a new French type-- of players, with aggressiveness along with skill.

      @@bobbyearles4230 I think Rune reminds me of a two handed Federer almost. Just more power from the backhand but more errors because Federer used his BH slice so much. Rune has incredible volleys, Only Alcaraz, Dimitrov, Paire and Hurkacz and few others has even or Better touch at net. Rune opposite to Paire do other things at net than drop volley. He can do these droppers like Paire in excebition trust me! Rune can stun a low drop volley from a thunderous pass believe me! He has the baseline half volley and halfvolley at net in check too. Cause his big idol is Federer 😜 dont know him in person but i seen enough to know his skill

      Not really. Rune had more overall points and served better but lost the crucial points. This is similar to Novak vs. Carlos in Olympics.
      Also you're speaking WAY WAY too soon to be lumping Fils with Carlos and Sinner. He hasn't even win a 1000. Rune has...
      He hasn't reached the QF of a slam.
      Rune has...
      He hasn't been a top 10 player (let alone 4) before.
      Rune has...
      Let's Fils gain some more trophies and let's wait and see how he does for the big titles.

But Fils has Strong athletisism, forehand etc. But competition is big. Sinner does what Works in tennis the best like Novak did. Or modern tennis. Consistency from the baseline mixed in with agression, flashy skill etc. Nothing overdone. Sinner imo just has the strongest groundgame right now. Alcaraz the more agressive and flashy/versitile
