So help me God, I've watched about a thousand videos on making t-shirts, drafting t-shirts, sewing a t-shirt collar band and no one has EVER showed me or even mentioned doing a "vanity band". You have to be a genius. I am just so amazed by your techniques. I am totally hooked on your channel. Thank you so much. I have a t--shirt I made months ago and I'm going right in there and put a vanity band on it. It makes the t-shirt look so professional. I am kicking myself for not finding you sooner.
Just found your site. Really appreciate some of your tips, and will definitely be using vanity back on ALL my T-shirts in future. Excited to explore more of your videos, especially draping videos.
Yeah. I had that machine when I started sewing again. After a few uses it started sewing "backwards." Took it to the shop and he basically took it apart and said "nahh." Bought a new one. It came with a bent shaft. So...good luck with it.
Interesting let’s see. So far I’m liking it as a great machine on a budget for all around things. Maybe you should go back to the particular supplier of your machine. Thx

Oh wow. I was always taught to 1/4 the garment and the band and put the band seam to the back. !!!
There are many ways to do anything. I try to teach the professional way to all my viewers:).
Thanks sooo much for sharing your knowledge!❤️❤️❤️

Why is it that everytime I create a toile from my draping that it never closes up on my dress form? Is that normal?
Yes that’s normal. Keep in mind the dress form unlike a human body is not flexible. If you have collapse shoulders that helps
