The song No God, is basically the Ladies saying, don't rely on any deity to fix your problems. You need to put in the effort yourself, if you expect to get anywhere. And God Helps Those, Who Help Themselves. In other words, get off your butt and get to work. But they do it in a fun nice way.
"No God" has my fave MISA bass lines. She's awesome at the best of times & used to practice until her fingertips bled, but in this she plays a non-stop solo from start to finish :)
@@GaryHolloway-810 I personally love the song, but Misa doing Misa stuff just makes it all the more pleasurable for me.. She is one very tallented lady.. And Saiki's smiles in this video are the icing on the cake...
BAND-MAID is such a feel-good band and they truly know how to have fun on stage. It's so infectious and that's what I love about them. If you have to put them in a genre, it's the "just-good-music" genre. A genre that they have created themselves. I'm so glad to found them and the Japanese rock and metal scene.
An amazing song that's even more amazing in person than what this particular live version shows. In Chicago last year they had an extended intro (there's an even more extended intro to this one but the editor left it out for some reason), and then the crowd was making the floor bounce and the crowd singalong parts are amazing. Best song of that night. Best song of the last show I saw this year was Hate which they played at Lollapalooza this year. Go search for Band-Maid Hat live Lollapalooza and react to that one next. It's amazing (and audio is direct from the show's live feed, so it's top notch).
As always, you've done another good, honest reaction. Thank you. If you really want to see them 'go off' please, please consider reacting to DICE/HATE? live at Lollapalooza 2023.
This concert was streamed Jan. 9th 2023. It was released in April on DVD/Blu-ray and is still available at places like CD Japan. It was a great concert.
The happiest rock band in the world 🌎 From a music standpoint, this isn’t a great song, but it’s the best live song ever! It’s as if it was written for the fans to be a part of the band for a few minutes. And interestingly, the main riff is similar to Motörhead “Ace of Spades.” And that’s another thing that makes Band Maid so unique. They take heavy metal riffs, add some sugar and spice, then spin them around in their magic song maker to create something new.
Totally agree apart from everyone knows that "Don't You Tell Me" live at Zepp, Tokyo, 2018 is the best live song....that's what Mincho told me to say anyway.😏
The "Mi" in Misa is prounounced "Me". Hope that helps. btw. The outfit she wears is some sort of "Ninja" garb. Most appropriate since her nickname is "The Barefoot Assassin", because she plays barefoot and kills that bass.
@@GaryHolloway-810 Have you ever considered displaying some of your art in the banner image across the top of your channel? It's free and easy to do. Maybe a Band-Maid motif of some sort.
There are quite a few things that have been up various noses in this group...lol Not related, but my favorite was when they said they tell dirty jokes backstage and then have to explain them to Kanami and when they took a vote for who had the best boobs and it was unanimously voted as Misa.
The problem with the meaning of your logo (as you describe it) for me is... one guy's definition of "Evil" might be a gay or Asian, or a democrat, or a woman, etc. Defining "Evil" is all over the place with deranged cowards who think, "I kill in the name of eliminating Evil." The word "Evil" is a religious word. And religion is, imo, a fraud concept. (Not a Higher Power that one may believe in, but religion as an institution). Can't we just all move beyond killing people -- and violent symbols that depict the same. Incarceration after due process, yes. So maybe the devil-getting-clunked-on-the-noggin-by-a-court-gavel logo might be worth consideration. 👿🔨 Thx, Slit! ;-)

Actually I disagree, my interpretation is that its about having doubts and losing faith but at the end still choosing to believe.

One of the best bass solo's around.. (Yes the whole song is a bass solo) Misa misa Misa
@@grantnealon5101 Yep it's not one of my fave songs but when MISA's playing like that you just have to sit back & admire :)

Always good to hear Band Maid
They have an amazing way of making highly technical songs playful and fun.

No God and Domination are the only songs that they have played at every concert so far this year.
Cool info, Edward.👍
Good catch!

1, 2, 3, 4 parking lot! Just had to! 😃 ♥ these girls!

Miku did call Kanami a devil once🤔
Kanami had tricked Miku into eating a pocky stick after it had been up MISA’s nose…….soooo 🤷♂️
"She is Devil"! That was hilarious!
