when vlogging I always feel conspicuous holding the GoPro out in front while walking and chatting, attracting attention. If I just want to do a POV video hold the GoPro tends to stand out, so hopefully the Ulanzi neck mount will draw less attention to me, lets hope so. Keep a lookout for the field test.
Hi Jon. One of the most often bits of gear that I use in public places. Especially with a remote control. I used it extensively in Florida for shops, malls, streets and not one person noticed (believe it or not) that I was wearing a camera with a mic attached! You can get fantastic slow pans with it too, just by turning your body slowly. Really used full. Cheers. Ian
@@iancraig Hi Ian hope you're well and thanks for commenting. Thanks for the information, I've not used it in public yet but will be giving it a thorough test on an upcoming holiday. Best wishes stay safe Jon
@@BillsPhoneTeignmouth Hi Bill hope you're well and thanks for commenting. I did consider the chest harness but I think it would have been overkill for the gopro, I be testing it out soon so I'll report back with my findings. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen
Hi Jon, hope you are both well. Great video Jon as always the neck harness looks good , I tried something similar with the DJI Action 4 but didn’t like the way it moved around when walking. That look a lot more sturdy, with the newer cameras they have self levelling, which is good but can give a strange effect if it’s moving quite a lot. It’s a good set up mate. Looking forward to the vlogs using it.
@@keithguppy Hi Keith hope you're well and thanks for commenting. I looked the various types and this seemed to be the most suitable. I nearly bought the type that clips to the backpack strap but it didn't make sense as evertime I took the bag off I'd have to remove the gopro. Will out testing soon. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen
Thanks for your review. Glad that I went with the PGYTech neck mount, which includes an elasticated chest strap if needed. Found my original Telesin difficult to latch and also problem with unclipping the camera clip and not fitting in back and had my Pocket3 fall off. Fortunately not to the ground. Best Dave
@dave20thmay Hi Dave thanks for commenting I looked at the Telesin but the ulanzi has the quick release mount so I can swap it from neck to selfie stick easily. I'll be doing a field test soon so hopefully I'll do what I want. Best wishes Jon
@@shawnheppenstall3258 Hi Shawn hope you're well and thanks for commenting, all good with us. Hopefully I'll get out soon and test the neck mount, when it stops raining. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen
Hey Jon. Hope you both are well. Nice bit of kit that. I had a similar contraption but it was a chest strap, I only used it once as I looked a complete idiot as it was stuck out in front of me by about 6 inches (for a mobile) and was a bit uncomfortable. Might see if they have one like that for a mobile. Stay Safe.
@@StephenJoines Hi Steve hope you're well and thanks for commenting. I looked at several different types of gopro mounting ideas, and this seemed the best choice I've not used it yet but it'll get a good test when we're on holiday. Can't remember the make but I did see one that could be used on a mobile whilst searching amazon for this one. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen

Aha interesting. God bless you out there with the cameras.
Yes, much more discrete than those 'full chest strap' things - Be interesting to see the test 👍👍👍
