Hi Jon, hope you are both well, looks like a great riser, loved the review and a great little setup you have there, that tripod takes the video to another level. Look forward to more of those good job 👍🏻
Hi Keith hope you're well and thanks for the kind comment, we're good thanks just wish the weather would make up its mind what it wants to do, we've had a freezing weather now we're having high winds and heavy rain. The laptop riser really helps with photo/video editing it lifts the laptop so the screen is at the right height. Been a rather busy few weeks but hopefully I'll be able to start making some videos using the new tripod soon. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen
That’s brilliant Jon. I know the feeling exactly. When I’m looking down it really hurts the next before long and so I have to take a break. Great prices too 👌
Hi Phil hope you're well and thanks for commenting, this riser definitely helps when editing so I can really recommend it if you're using a laptop for a prolonged period and the screen is at a perfect height. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen
Cool. When I first got my old iMac in 2009, I felt it was too low down, and purchased similar thing to use as a stand. However the iMac was too heavy (Not being a laptop) and it bounced up and down, so I had to get used to using it on my desk 🤣🤣 👍
Hi Bill hope you're well and thanks for commenting, I always used a tower pc to do my editing but having moved house (a while ago) I had limited space so a laptop was the best option. This certainly does the job raises the laptop to my eye line stop me from getting a pain in the neck and helps with the cooling of the laptop, definitely worth the £16 I paid. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen.
Hey Jon. Hope you both are well. Looks a great solution for a little problem. I never use my laptop, mind you it is 15 years old. Nik uses her laptop a lot (for study), and done in bed. Wonder if something like that would be better for her instead of resting it on her lap? she does complain about her back after a study session. Stay Safe.
Hi Steve hope you're well and thanks for commenting, all good with use the freeze weather has gone, we've now got high winds and heavy rain. This is defo worth getting if you use a laptop, it put the screen at the right height, helps with the cooling and defo stops the pain in the neck.Laptops are not the ideal tool for photo/video editing but space was a problem for me. When we buy a place in Swanage i'll make sure there's a good size spare room i can turn into a studio. Best wishes Stay Safe Jon & Karen
Hi Jon. Hope you and Karen are doing well. Great explaining on the laptop holder. I do my editing on iPad. But using more my Mac book so could be something that might come in handy. Take care mate. Shawn 😊
Hi Shawn hope you're well and thanks for commenting, it's definitely ideal if you're using a laptop to do your editing on it puts the screen right on your eye line and stop me getting a pain in the neck. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen
