As far as I gather he was a great musician (I'm not fully aware of it because I've only heard a couple of Type O Negative's songs). Furthermore, he was a decent human being. He had a great personality and was just an all-around badass. The looks were just a bonus.

@Jesse Sandberg I agree. It's good to know there's someone who gets it. It kinda hurts me all that shit, let's figure out how much bothered he was about that sex symbol thing. He was exactly telling this in a Kerrang interview. You see I'm a woman and I'd lie if I'd say I'm not attracted by him, but I do see the soul (and pain)before the "box". And my only wish is he could be still here and happy.

And for his respect and love for females in general.
Those that perceive straight forward as brutal, would most likely think it's cold. Honesty hurts some people, but that was his point, others opinions were just that, and he lived the way he wanted to which is impossible for most to mind their own business!
On a side note, the amount of humor that goes over her head, is incredible! I also just noticed that Pete "seems" to like to judge peoples intelligence based on their response. That's a quality i admire greatly.

Peter steeles real attraction for me has always been his attitude. He is so honest and down to earth and normal. As if he never took his fame seriously or bought into the celebrity aspect and that would take a very strong character. It has always bothered me when I see interciews with him to know that he would die at such an early age.

10 years today and we still miss you, Green Man.
Negative forever.💚
I really wished I could have met him. Pete was a pretty cool guy and I'm sad that he passed away so soon. The world is a lesser place without him. RIP Peter You are Forever a Rock Legend!
Thank you Ville Valo / HIM, for informing me about this great band called Type O Negative.
Peter was just great, no wonder Ville idolized this man.
RIP Peter
Sierra Echo I would have loved it if they had collaborated before his death.
Love the wine bottle on the right of the screen.
Perfect for Peter.
objective achieved...
ur music helped me thru some tough times brother.. .
4:05 LOL he was hilarious💚 Even though he looked strong and rough he was actually a really vulnerable and honest guy. Miss him.

@@lone33ie He's not one. But even if he was labelled as one, and I had to choose between ppl like him, or ppl who see the world in your view, it'll be an easy choice. However judging by your profile and such, you just don't know what you're talking about, so I can't be too harsh.
I like this interviewer, she's soft spoken and very easy on the eye.
Her mmmm mmmmmmmm noises are killing me LOL
Daniel Baugher She needs to STFU and stop being so thirsty.
2:53 - the funny and good thing is he is helping me with his songs right now.
MTV doesn't do this shit anymore. Fuck...
Interviewer, stop flirting with him. Like really
focking Papadopulos fuck you boy who wouldn’t flirt?
Could you honestly say you would act any differently in her position?
That’s part of her job. She’s a journalist, after all
he has definitely helped me through hard times... thank you peter!
Peter was a very intelligent man. Too bad he left us too early. Just now getting into the band 30 years after I was 23.
"You keep your end up" *looks down* "I'll keep my end up"
He was rather beautiful wasn’t he 🥰
The hottest man to ever live
Peter was such a real and down to Earth cat - one of the gods - a true icon of hard music. He definitely accomplished what he wanted to with his music by helping people through dark times, myself included, to this day.
FOREVER BLEED GREEN 💚Ø
A very honest Mr. Steele. Great interview.
Peter wanted to leave this world gracefully. He got his wish. But it’s still so unfortunate that it had to happen. I’m a huge late-comer to Type O and they are working their way to being one of my favorite bands. RIP Peter. You are still forever loved and missed by many
Same, im so sad that I found them so late 😢
Hey Peter, your music helping me a lot all the time. Thanks a lot.
This band saved my life, Peter Steele is an original, and now remember him.
I had never seen this, what a gem! thanks so much for sharing!!!! greetings from portugal!
there going to have to mop up the chair once she gets up
Great upload thanks, I really didn't know this guy was so funny and SUCH a poet! 🏆👍
he was a sweet , very intelligent and eloquent man
Vamp Daddyyyyy 🌹
He seemed like a really cool guy. The kinda guy I could hang with.
That was so uncalled for when she pulled out the play girl 😭 like i do NOT think bro wanted to see that he even said it was mortifying
Yes Peter you helped me thru hard times, and still do.
Wow. What a video! Thanks! I luv the feeling of the interview itself, lol. 🤭😃
"Someone who has helped people through hard times" - amazing
Thanks for sharing, man.
