I had the same issue. Greasing it helped at first but it got worse. I did research and people have been sanding the top collar bushing down a couple of mm. I did it on mine and it's flawless now 😁👍
Good vid, great explainer that's not a how to. I felt your joyful satisfaction in my soul as the last I had that was swapping triples on some old frames of mine. And for the record, I heard no audio clipping on my bluetooth headphones.
Well that was a easy enough fix. As for the sound on the video, I didn't notice any difference, I didn't know there was a issue with the sound in past videos. I come for great bike related content from a fellow east coast Canadian and that is all that matters to me.
Your happy face from satisfaction sparkle positivity in my afternoon. Also it remembers me about how satisfing is to work on a bike and succes. Thank you! About the audio: I haven't noticed anything annoing, but also nothing before...so for now it is ok😬
This looks like the v1 of the post. The collar is larger and the actuator on the bottom is the centered one. I've had that same issue with the v1 despite pressure and greasing. They fixed it in v2. The comment about sanding down the bushing may be the best long term solution for the v1 full extension issue.
Yep! Sanded mine down and it hasn't acted up at all since. That said, i ordered a repair kit with the newer bushing as well (in case I sand too much off ofnthe bushing 😆)
Can you do or have you done a sorta timeline overview of your life? Im kinda lost when it comes to the places you move, the jobs you have or dont have and the shed... Maybe include it or add it to the annual fleet callup?
Sounds good. How wide are the bars on that bike? I’m thinking about taking an inch off each side of mine. I can’t get used to these new school super wide bars on my 29er
Uber Worldcuppy setup.
Never used, but intend to forever use Worldcuppy from now on. Thanks.

Whenever I have someone ride my bike and explain what a dropper post is, I just tell them to think of it like an office chair.
THEY ARE EXACTLY THAT, MINUS THE ENTIRE DAMN CHAIR, SO WHY THE FUCK DO THEY COST SO MUCH!!!!
@@pepito_white 😅🤣
@@pepito_white lol are you kidding ? a full suspension mtb can cost more then a used mx bike , lol
@@sdqsdq6274 Dudeee, I'm just talking about the dropper post, not entire bike!!! Its the same mechanism installed on office chairs

Love your vids.

Sounds good. Enjoying the daily content. 👍
Well, that was the best video on servicing a thing that I've seen in quite a while. And now I can dropper post! And the audio sounded great. Thanks!
Love that you ride a schwinn
Inspiring. I recently changed the air spring on my Fox fork and I was super nervous to do it. But it ended up not being bad at all.
Thank you for the video. Am Doing the same this weekend for the 1st time. This video has put my mind at ease Hi from the 🇬🇧
I listened on my phone speakers but I didn't hear any clicking, sounded nice and clear though
Austin video and awesome tips on how to put the correct air in an automatic seat post
Great show

And as much as I like rewatching your vids, rewatching all of them in order to get some continuity is too many hours
Sound seems to be very good. Love to hear your take on the 2020 X v. Redwood?
Put a zip tie in the seal and release the build up. It works for mine. It's suction
Edit: WPL lube is good, same one up dropper too.
I have the same problem with my OneUp post. Get some WPL Forkboost lube its a super quick solve to this problem

A swytch bike ad popped up in your video. What is your opinion on one of those? and could you go single speed with a ridiculous front ring?
what handle bar is that?
Ideas are sparking... a XC 29er SS.. 🤔
That's was a threatening outro for sure
Nice mice. I meant mic.
Good vid! Spell Check yourself “subscribe or I ......”. 😳
