In today's video Plaza Towing responds to a rolled over semi and a semi in the ditch. Plaza Towing was specifically called because of our rotator to lift the semi, who's fuel tanks were resting on the ground, to prevent a hazmat disaster from occurring. Several challenges such as low boom angle, uneven terrain, and working off the corner made this a difficult one. Nonetheless, Plaza Towing was able to remove the casualty with no additional damage causes. As mentioned in the beginning, this truck was trying to avoid a semi that had rolled over causing it to go into the ditch. Plaza Towing assisted the other company on scene with the rollover with Darl at the controls. Unfortunately, this was not recorded. Trent and Darl take turns running the truck, therefore, Trent Jr ran it on this one. Enjoy!

Q:What camera do you use?
A: I use the Go Pro Hero 7 Black Edition primarily. Often times you will see auxillary cameras in use. Those cameras include The Go Pro Hero 6, Hero, and DJI Mavic Pro Platinum
Q: How big Is your rotator?
A: It is a 50 ton Miller Industries Vulcan 950
Q: Does the carriage slide back like Ron Pratt's?
A: No, the carriage doesn't slide back due to strict weight laws in California. The sliding carriage will make the truck to heavy in CA
Q: Why do you only have 3 winches on the rotator?
A: Comes down to weight again as stated above
Q: How many trucks Does Plaza Towing have?
A: Currently more than 30
Q: Why must the driveshaft be removed to tow a vehicle?
A: When vehicles are not running the transmission is not receiving circulating lubricant. If the driveshaft is left installed, the transmission, which is not receiving lubricant, is still spinning. This allows it to get very hot which eventually will cause major damage to the transmission. Therefore, removing the driveshaft completely eliminates the transmission from spinning. Simply leaving it in neutral is not sufficient since the transmission still spins in neutral. - Авто/Мото

Sir Trent !!! GOOD learning video for your Brother !!! Good to see that he isn't afraid of helping you out !!! KEEP THE VIDEOS COMING & KEEP IT SAFE !!!
Plus l
This is a scary job and yikes that heat!
I hope that nobody was hurt in the accident. Great work as usual!
Thank you for watching!!
Great job teaching your brother won't be long he will be on his own,,you have proven to be very good at your work, thorough and safe, keep safe. Also like those vids of flying .
The rotator has been a fantastic tool as well as providing
an easier and safer situation, as well as a money maker. BTW it makes me nervous to see you guys standing just inches away from the traffic. Well it’s probably 18-24 inches but jezzzz!
Certainly have to keep your head on a swivel. Thank you for watching!!
Great video. Kind of close quarters with that heavy traffic. Good job with everyone on this job.
I love that you have the headset communications!! That’s slowly becoming a major role especially when doing a recovery job along an open freeway! Ya definitely have to be a team player when talking on those things! The team work you guys display is awesome!! I’ve watched a lot of towing and recovery videos and yours are up there. As a towing and recovery operator myself I love to see how others work together. Great video!! New subscriber!!**
Your Brother is doing a great job.
You guys are awesome. Wish we had your company in South Africa. Amazing to watch your video.
Great job and great communication between everyone.
That is where the rotator is priceless, all smooth !
Man I was so looking forward to the car hauler video in this situation. But full freeway closure and no time for the gopro that's a bummer. As bringing my load back from AZ. I couldn't tell what happened. Hopefully nobody was too badly hurt.
Thanks for what you guys do... be safe.
bravo, bravo, bravo get job, i like the way everty thing went so smooth and cool! great communication! no shouting just wonderful video! keeep it up gentlemen!
Awesome video Trent !!!!!
Once again the Rotator made easy work getting that semi out of the ditch !!!!!
Thank you for watching!!
Darl, you're killin' me smalls! Dude, you were doing a great job. Follow your instincts.
Trent Sr should be PROUD. (I think he is because he seems OK with the distance.)
Thank you for Sharing be safe out there
What finesse, great job guys!
I really liked the POV from the rotator
Traffic was a mess. Stay safe. From Az.
It's crazy the way they let you guys work accidents right on the shoulder without closing a lane when I see so many lane closures for workers *way* out past the shoulder.
Great video!
You did a great job keep it up
Great team work and awesome communication you fellas made it look easy y'all be safe out there
Thank you for your kind words. Thank you for watching!!
Great Videos.... greetings from the Netherlands/ Europe
I love your video man keep up the work
Love your work, very nice ❤️
Nice work guys. Looks like CHP needed to block that outside lane for you guys. That traffic was getting pretty close to you
CHP should have blocked the right lane once the truck got up on the shoulder. You guys were at times standing on the white line inches from heavy traffic. One wrong step and ,,,,,,,,,
tim gear Its the law in California, if a vehicle is stopped in the breakdown lane, traffic must move over to the left.
First of all, have you consider hydration packs in this extreme heat, or do they get in your way. Second, I'm glad that you are getting a business degree as you look to the future and have a desire to continue the family business. Having an understanding of the full process from Human Resources to Accounting, will serve you well to understand what happens in all areas of a business and help you to find embezzlement early on. This will prevent a collapse of the business your family has worked so hard to build. There is a family owned roofing supply company in Wisconsin that the father required any of his children to work in the field with a roofer and in the warehouse before they could ever sit behind a desk. They were successful because each off-spring knew the business from the ground up and because they listened to those who used them for roofing products.
I'm glad your grandfather and father have the same philosophy!!! Keep working in the field and training your employees in proper safety practices.
Excelente 👍👍👍 saludo desde Puerto Rico.
Always a pleasure watching professionals plying their trade.
Well done Men! Well done indeed
Excellent video....stay safe
I blinked and trailer disappeared😂
Boy. Not much working room with traffic. Damn. Nice work.
Amazing piece of equipment
Ace job lads

"It's hanging by like 5 air lines"
I didn't know air line connections were that sturdy. Good to know.
Love ur vlogs awesome rig and setup! Hope to see more good stuff !
Thank you very much!
Great video
I like how u can hear the conversation between u guys 🤣
Lol thanks!! Aren’t we comedians?! Thank you for watching!!
I'm surprised the police won't shut down the right lane. Safety First - unless it's inconvenient.
Nice job
only Blablablabla- verry interessting !! Thank you !
I know I critique you guys and your methods on occasion about not deploying your "Rotator", but this job is spot on. Well done ✅ how many rotators are in your fleet? Better yet; what is your heavy truck inventory compromised of? I'm a retired fleet owner in my 80s, and in my mind I'm right there with you. Thanks for letting me reminisce. Stay safe.
Nice video keep it up
Good job with the 3 camera’s editing.......
Nice, Amazing how they don't block the lane so you guys are working in a safer environment. Maybe you guys should request them to do so...
Muy buen travajo👍
I've never seen an asphalt-coated berm like that.
Hey Trent you guys are a well oiled machine so cool to see a family work together in such a awesome field. I gotta ask brother what’s with the mask?
👍👍👍хорошая слаженная работа
Great job great team work and and you guys are funny working together
Parabéns pelo serviço bem feito, se fosse no Brasil com as concecionárias das auto pista, tinha jogado o caminhão lá pra baixo!!
Nice work, poor job on the part of the police opening that lane while you were still working.
The trailer disappeared at the end. Was that a hook and haul by them, by you? Was it road worthy? Otherwise, very nice and well done in the close quarters.
Stay hydrated out there!
Very nice videos nice volume
Thank you for watching!!
Another great video 👍
good afternoon trent great job excellent thanks have a blessed and good weekend god bless you
Some nice content here. While I'm watching ,I find myself wishing there was drone footage. Dunno if it would be possible or legal but it'd be pretty sweet.
Bravo guys greeting from Germany 🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪
I really like that you've started editing out some of the really boring parts, makes the videos much easier to watch. Keep up the great work
Took you a long time
Does the alarm on the rotator warn that it's turning? England I think on has 8x8 wreckers.......
You looked like you needed the drive lane closed for safety.
As always this video was super again ! Just found it a pity that it was abbreviated at the end, it disconnecting and removing the trailer for example. Furthermore a nice video, keep up the good work ! Greetings from the Netherlands !
Apologizes. At that point Trent was changing camera batteries. Thank you for watching!
What is the headset you guys are using to communicate over the radio? The yellow and orange ones to be exactly.
Good work - interesting to watch +v!
Who did your guys wrap? We want to wrap our new truck
oi amigo moro no brasil parabéns a toda equipe meu like
Awesome Job and the random "scheisse" surprised me. Always a pleasure to watch you guys before dinner. Keep going :)
Lol that’s my brother! Thank you for watching!!
Brother que legal dimais.
👍saludos desde mexico
You should put amber lights on the light bar you have. The light bar you put on the back of vehicles when towing them.
Amber lights that will flash when you emergency lights on. More safety.
What’s the red little bag they always have close to them I see them hang it close to where they are working?
tools the square shaped one is a catch pan these wrecks are leaking diesel gas and oil they need to contain it.
amazing. They don't close down the lane for safety
Jjosa
O amigão deu uma cochilada abraços amigos
Hey Bud, what's the orange bag hanging off the back of your rig?
21:39 Amazon Got the big Trucks out there
Good😁😁
Pretty, going straight sideways.
CHP needed to block the lane for you guys too close too Dangerous enjoyed the video Stay safe out there!! Good Job !!!
What are those wireless headsets you're wearing?
Sonetics, look them up. They start at $445 for just a personal set....
Can you give info on the headsets that is being used?
They are made by sonetics. We absolutely love them. Here is a link to my review video ruclips.net/video/8VWdFF8QKgo/видео.html
Quiero saber si cóndor crik .California esta abierto para acanpar
Hello can we ask if we can post this video on our RUclips channel ?
No slow down and move over laws out there? Lane should have been blocked off for y'all's safety. Good video thou.
15:19 wow, i love truck
It's a lotta truck passing thru this highway
This question is not directed toward the wrecker- recovery crew, but watching many trucks going by, I haven't seen one which was known (many years ago) as *CAB-OVER* _IRRC_ meaning the trucks in which the engine was right under the driver. Were it safety reasons that these trucks are not longer used? Ot just not in the state from this recovery-crew? Seen them trucks in 1992 last time I was in the US.
Steer left... steer left... go left... oh to hell with it go to the desert side.......
The desert side!
muy buen vídeo,saludos desde Argentina.
