My point exactly -- it should be that sticking a POTUS or former POTUS in jail for proven criminal activity is fast-tracked by a legal system falling over itself to make sure justice is seen to be done as swiftly as possible; ditto for corrupt members of SCOTUS.

I heard one of those lawyers/commentators explain that should 45 be jailed,and appeal it,that Merchan has given 45 multiple times, and chances,to avoid jail by giving him fines and warnings. It's more or less to cover merchan so 45 would lose an appeal about being jailed.
