Constantine deserved his own show back!
Constantine still remains one of the most underrated characters in all of comics. I’m currently rewatching all of Matt Ryan’s appearances live action and animated and it just reinforces the fact that this guy is absolutely perfect as John Constantine. His solo show is still my favorite of the live action Matt Ryan projects, because it retains the dark tone of the original hellblazer comics. He was a little watered down in the arrowverse, but they stayed true to his character and showed how happiness is never permanent for John. His spells were a lot cooler in the arrowverse though. I don’t know if I’ll be able to bring myself to watch the new show without Matt, but he made me a fan of Constantine so I probably will since I’m a fan if the character. No matter what Matt Ryan will always he the best version of Constantine and his show deserved more seasons than it got. Maybe with enough fan backing we can manage to bring it back somewhere maybe Netflix or HBO if the new show isn’t received well.
