Pila-Pala is a real MVP in this deck. if you can tap for 2 mana, you area able to get infinite mana of all colors, and activate infinite abilities of any color(like archvist's draw a card)
I am currently putting a experiment kraj deck together. Running momir big in the 99 is extremely lore theme and strong. Also when playing this deck I plan on paying very close attention to my metas board states. The fact that it's any creature cannot be over stressed enough.
Nice deck ;) I have been building mine nearly the exact same way with my pool of cards, and have also recently added Renata who I pulled from my only pack of Theros :) i dont have hardened scales so she is perfect!
I’ m really a huge fan of your vidéo, this deck is fun and budget, thank for the example they are clears and intresting Ps: sy for my writting mistake i’m French and m’y phone doesnt like to write in other language 😅
Fun fact if you play liquid metal coating or mycosynth lattice and then additionally a way to animate artifacts like karn silver golem then you can turn people's Planeswalkers into artifact creatures and put counters on them granting kraj their abilities and the ability to generate loyalty counters 😂. I run a kraj deck but it's not as much built to win as it is to create halarious JUDGE calls lol
The infinite mana engine I feel is pretty solid, so I thought the room for improvement might be the finishers, but when I searched for cards $5 and less (what I’d call “reasonable upgrade” territory) and I think the best options were the ones I ended up picking for the video. Simic can make infinite tokens but that requires combat and waiting a turn, so milling seems the way to go. You could go with draw spells like Stroke of Genius, Prosperity, Mind Spring, etc and win with LabMan, LabJace, something like that that isn’t ruined by one of your opponents having an Eldrazi Titan or graveyard shuffler.
Late reply, but no, whenever a card references its own name in its text box, it really means "this card". That means that when Kraj is borrowing abilities, they all refer to Kraj instead whenever it activates them.
Damn I wanna buy this at 5am rn
aaaa, Kraj, the very first commander deck that I actually completed, really love this one

I have built an experiment kraj deck too, and it really goes infinite at the drop of a hat
Seems pretty cool, I recently built ooze tribal
My favorite cheese is not cheddar. That’s why I like budget.
i know I'm late on this video but check out kraj with energy counters and proliferates then add long tusk cub or aetherwind basker

If there's a single EDH dude that can spell out Kraj properly?
seems pretty good to me
Great video! Do you have any thoughts for some reasonable upgrades?

Question if kraj has untap soliton, wouldnt krajs activated effect have untap soliton and not kraj?
