A perfect example of great Canadian Rock.......there is a 'sweetness' to it, for lack of a better word...which you don't hear in 'more mainstream' bands.....ROCK ON!!:>)
Very sad. One of my fav. bubble gum music bands growing up! Lead singer of Streetheart passed away! He was 69. Thanks for the great memories and great tunes, Kenny RIP
My 10 year old son, thinks that 70-80's tunes are the best - it pays to blast Streetheart, Prism, Harlequin, Trooper, April Wine, Max Webster in the womb....he's the only kid in his 400+ school with a mullet, and damn proud of it, most people don't have a clue he has Autism......Love ya Jess xxoo
First heard this song when I was a kid in the 80s on a record at a neighbors place and thought they were amazing And as mentioned below in the comments today's bands just don't have that certain magic about them that the older ones have
Last saw them at Olympics in Vancouver - Awesome. The whole crowd was singing the Chorus. I remember this being a Shama song before Jeff joined the Band ( a great bar band, that should have been famous)
I agree with everyone when it comes to this music , classic and timeless but the comments that today's music sucks is totally true is you listen to the mainstream shit recreated crap , but there is so much great music out there, just keep you tubing, you will find it.
Canada rocks forever and ever, Streeheart is one of those bands where all the songs are good, never heard one I did not like, simply classic!!! and all without MTV or vids....
All i can say as a guitar player is that Paul Deans leads with this band were a thousand times the shite he produced with LIVERBOY. He may have cashed in with LIVERBOY. But his ART is with this band. Anyone who plays guitar would know this. I am sure he does too.
This song was written and recorded for the 1982 Album "Streetheart" which was after Paul Dean left the band and you are hearing the incredible Jeff Neill on guitar.
@maple99z I had "Don't Just Stand There" by Haywire, and loved it, and so without hearing it I bought their next album, which was literally unlistenable. (I returned it. - hard rock and metal are fine, but it sounded like bobcats giving their dying screams as they are eviscerated by chainsaws.)
fucking eh aa what the hay lets hear a hooray ....solid not the end all be all though but takes me back,,,jack what about the knack my sorrana have a slice of ballona 80's ladies toronto headpins latter gators

Bieber has alot of great songs too...
Loverboy, Moxy, Zon, Teaze, Stampeders, Honeymoon sweet, Triumph, Toronto, Haywire...not all on the same level but they were there.
All i can say as a guitar player is that Paul Deans leads with this band were a thousand times the shite he produced with LIVERBOY. He may have cashed in with LIVERBOY. But his ART is with this band. Anyone who plays guitar would know this.
