Great information, as always. Interestingly, we were on vacation in Dubai for the xmas holiday, and we needed a caregiver service so that myself and my spouse could go out without the kids, and we subscribed to a care service that was affiliated to the hotel...guess what a Philippino lady showed up - and she told us about he deserves to relocate to Canada and we shared this pathway with her for her to take advantage of it. I would also tell my wife to send your video to her.

Not for PSW but for hsw you can still use PSW accreditation to do this but not work at a facility just a private home

Thanks alot for this. I came across this info a few weeks ago. I currently work as a care giver here in Canada, i fit into this pathway however i was hired as a casual which means it's not full time though i work way more than 30 hours in a week which is more than the permanent worker. I still intend to pursue this pathway and hope that i can be converted to a full time. My question here is if i am able to still apply being a casual worker tho my work time is still counts as full time.

That is where the confusion is
..I also work as a support worker in the uk. However, from my research on canada. Ca website, the home support worker, is employed by individuals. However, it says that if you work for carehomes and nursing homes, you aren't in that category.
I think the uk carer will fall under nurse aides

You should contact the director of nursing,if you have experience, if they say you don't qualify, ten I would suggest you look for a sponsor to take care of an elderly person. That way in 2-3 years u can get PR
