The Spurs fan assesment of Newcastle was outrageous. Maybe he feels threated or something, but it was so incredibly dumb. With the record of injuries in Prem history and the hardest group in UCL history, the only dropped 2 places in the league. That team has only one good 11 in the squad, and most of that 11 was injured at the same time in some moments of the season; they also only finished last in the UCL group on the final day, and only because PSG robbed them 2 points. What Newcastle's doing great all that considered, and that dudes argument is just "No".

  • @BillyBufter

Newcastle at present do not have a right side. Their best right winger is out on loan.. If Newcastle replace Wilson with someone less injury prone and with a better work rate, and sign a 1st team rw with minteh returning, for next season you'll get to see a balanced squad for the first time under howe. This will allow to rest key players and as a result less injuries. That's key for extra games, and for a top 6 side.

That's the stadium debt though I think which doesn't count towards FFP/PSR. In terms of how much Spurs can spend on the squad they are in a strong position. If FFP rules are implemented strongly so teams are deducted points etc then Spurs will be in a strong financial position. Apparently the plan is to now invest more in infrastructure like hotels etc which is a loophole around FFP to generate even more revenue. I think Spurs have now moved into the top 10 revenue generating clubs in the world which is pretty insane considering success on the pitch hasnt been great

This is laughable. Regardless of how great he is... Its only Jurgen Klopp leaving!
Liverpool STILL have Alisson in goal, Trent at RB, Van Dijk at CB, Mac Allister and Szoboszlai in midfield, Sala, Jota, Diaz and Nunez up top... All players that are significantly better than the players at Chelsea, Villa, Newcastle and Spurs.
A couple of summer signings, a half decent manager and Liverpool still comfortably get top 4.

Idk where the Arsenal fan has got his Conte points information from but it's wrong. Conte never managed a full season at Spurs, but after 32 games in the year he took over, Spurs had 57 points after 32 games and last season he left after 28 games with just 49 points. This year Spurs have 60 already and have equalled last year's total tally already.
Chelsea fan saying Spurs record against the top 6 isn't very good is odd.
The top 6 game mini league currently looks like this -
    Arsenal - 13 pts in 7 games
    City - 12 pts in 9 games
    Tottenham - 9 pts in 6 games
    Chelsea - 9 pts in 8 games
    Liverpool - 9 pts in 9 games
    United - 6 pts in 9 games
The top 6 mini table of the current table with Villa and Newcastle for United and Chelsea looks like
    City - 13 pts in 9
    Liverpool - 12 in 8
    Arsenal - 12 pts in 9
    Villa - 12 in 9
    Newcastle - 12 in 10
    Tottenham - 11 in 7
To say Spurs have some bad record against either version of the top 6 is a bad faith take not backed up by numbers. In fact, Spurs have a strong number of points given the least amount of games played.

He won't improve on this, he's spectacularly stubborn, just watch that embarrassing argument he had on Australian tv. You aren't allowed to criticise his tactics apparently, unless you go and watch them in training. He's delusional. The spurs fans have set up this odd cultish behaviour, assuming he's going to turn them into genuine contenders. Imagine thinking he's more geared towards winning trophies for them than Conte, a proven trophy winner
