I 've been using the index finger of my weak hand on the rear iron sight on my CZ Tactical Sport for years and have never had an issue. The sight has never come lose and it is tall enough and flat enough to easily rest my finger against it while pulling back. Using the rear sight is how you rack the slide off your pants pocket one handed when you can only use one hand due to injury. I also use my red dots to rack the slide on my other guns in kind of the same way. Thousands of racks on irons and red dots with no problems whatsoever.

Good video - I’ve never had an issue actually running the slide on my P-01 Omega but hear a lot of non-CZ owners sight this as a reason they’d never own/carry a CZ 75 style pistol.

I'm 80 years old, had to switch to shooting left-handed when Multiple Sclerosis and age got to the nerves in my right arm. My CZ-75D, CZ-75 P-07, and CZ-83 are all easier to rack than my 45 ACP 1911. I don't know about a Glock. Everyone I ever picked up fit my right hand like a 2x4. I should try Glocks again as a lefty.
My CZ-76D was the first CZ I ever saw. I picked it up, checked to see if it was loaded, tested the DA & SA trigger pull, and how the sight picture looked when held in all combinations, both left and right-handed. The sights lined up with where I was looking. I filled out the paperwork and wrote him a check for it and the CZ-83. I've been happy with it for 20 years. They both fit my hand.

But, very hard to operated with that slide 😅
    Thanks for your VDO, useful

I bought a .45-caliber EAA Witness one time at a gun show. It had a full-length slide with a compact polymer frame that could use full-size mags with a spacer on them. I never got through a full mag without a double-feed malfunction. It was a lot of fun when that thing was hot and with so little purchase on the slide.
That gun ended up in the pawn shop. As long as you have a gun that runs, that’s the main thing. I never had issues with the other CZ-type guns I owned.

Always loved the hand feel of a CZ but I've been happy with my Glocks and S&W. Trying to justify one to the wifey! All purses are a bag to hold stuff right? All shoes are just feet covers. So, I can certainly have more than one 9mm!

Thanks for the video and for the info. Is it hard to rack a stock Cz 75 p01? I have some hand issues.

It's not that hard, just different from the high slide guns
